This study analyzes tourist behavior in visiting tourism destinations influenced by smart tourism technology and uses the technology acceptance model (TAM) as a model for acceptance of smart tourism technology. This study used a sample of 324 tourists in West Java Province, Indonesia. Partial least square is applied to assess the relationship between smart tourism technology, perceived usefulness, perceived ease-of-use, travel intention, and visiting tourism destinations. The results of this study have revealed that the integration of TAM and smart tourism technology provides a complete explanation of the adoption of smart tourism technology. The results showed that smart tourism technology had a significant effect on perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness, and then had an effect on attitude. Travel intention was found to be directly influenced by attitude. Then, visiting tourism destinations is influenced by travel intention. By identifying smart tourism technology, various stakeholders such as the Government, tourism service providers and tourists can optimize a more comprehensive travel experience through the use of smart tourism technology. This research has developed TAM and integrated it with smart tourism technology to assess the attitudes and behavior of tourists in visiting tourism destinations.

Since the coronavirus pandemic hit Indonesia, tourists have become more careful when doing tourist activities. Natural or outdoor tourist destinations are assumed as safe and preferable destinations because they have the lowest risk of coronavirus transmission. One of the activities that can be done in natural or outdoor tourist destinations is camping. Using the AIDA (Attention, Interest, Desire, and Action) Model, this research was conducted to determine how much tourists are interested in camping, especially in South Bandung, West Java, Indonesia, as it has many natural tourist destinations with camping areas. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method, frequency analysis techniques, and scoring analysis. Samples were taken using a stratified random sampling technique to 111 respondents. Respondents are tourists who know or have visited one of the three natural tourist destinations in South Bandung, used as samples, namely Mount Puntang, Ranca Upas, and Rancabali. The results show that tourists are quite interested in camping as an alternative tourism activity during the coronavirus pandemic. However, they have some limitations or prerequisites in visiting the camping area during these uncertain times.

Wellness tourism is becoming one trend as people desire to travel for fitness and mental health purposes. Wellness tourism resources are one of the South Bandung area's advantages. Information media is needed to be an alternative to the market under developing information about wellness tourism in the region. This applied research designed the wellness tourism e-guidebook by applying the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) as the basis of a design by collecting opinions from 125 respondents who were processed statistically descriptive. The design process uses the canva application, Qr Code, and anyflip. This applied research has resulted in an electronic guidebook created as a reference for information related to wellness tourism in South Bandung. This 66-page book contains four sections in an e-guidebook compiled to meet the practical needs of wellness tourists in South Bandung.

The tourist village of Gambung Mekarsari is one of ten tourist villages established by the Bandung Regency government in 2016. This village has a lot of tourism potential, one of them is the Sahyang Bodas camping ground area managed by the community. Community-based tourism have been the driving force of tourism development in the region for years. However, it has not yet been optimally developed. This study aims to analyze the potential of tourist attractions in the area and find solutions to problems that can later be used as references to determine strategies for developing potential and tourist attractions at the Sahyang Bodas camping ground, Gambung Village, Mekarsari. The components that will be analyzed are related to the 4A tourism components, including Attraction, Accommodation, Accessibility, and Ancillary. This study uses a qualitative approach and SWOT analysis with data collection carried out through Focus Group Discussions, direct observations in the field, and in-depth interviews. Based on the review and analysis carried out regarding the potential and problems in the field, the results obtained that the potential attraction in the camping ground area of ​​Gambung Mekarsari Village has enormous potential to be developed.

Following up on the Development of The National Tourism Strategic Area of Lake Toba, which was directed in the study "Integrated Tourism Masterplan for Lake Toba" (ITMP Danau Toba) in 2018, one of which was the development of river-based natural tourism attractions allocated in the Asahan Watershed including Asahan Regency, Tanjung Balai Municipality, Toba Samosir Regency, and Simalungun Regency. Regarding the policy of river-based tourism attractions, this research is focused on developing river tourism activities that will have implications for the development of the natural attraction of the Asahan River. This study has produced a mixed method of sustainable tourism development strategies by prioritizing the benefits of the ecological, socio-economic and cultural environment. Development is directed towards packaging special interest tourism products following the characteristics of available resources.

The development of technology, especially digital media, has encouraged one of the tourism business industries, namely Jacktour, to use the Tripadvisor website to introduce and sell tour packages. Online reviews on websites are crucial to form an e-word mouth that is easy to access by future tourists. This study aims to determine both positive and negative tourist reviews regarding tour packages purchased from Jack Tour. The attributes of the tour packages include tourist attractions, people in charge (PIC), accessibility, transportation, accommodation, restaurants, prices, and final impressions. A qualitative descriptive method was applied to this research; data was collected from Jacktour on the Tripadvisor website. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. From 431 tourist populations, 325 tourists became the sample. From the results of the research, PIC (Person in Charge) is very important and is often reviewed positively or negatively. At the same time, in the impression aspect, tourists are satisfied with the services provided by Jacktour and will recommend it to others.

Information distribution through digital platform helps business owner improve their performance in promotion to broader market without geographical barriers. Unfortunately, the use of digital platforms still does not meets success performance as marketing tools. Information in digital platform has not provided the update and accurate information of destination. Moreover, it effects in rising potential tourist awareness and experience satisfaction. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the promotional problem that effects tourist awareness of tourism destination and recommend the strategic solution to improve performance by concerning tourism stakeholder involvement. This study introduces creative problem solving as an approach to identify probability source of difficulties and recommend strategy solution of problems faced. Interactive Planning (IP) is proposed to investigate the problem and find the strategic recommendation related to destination promotional activities. A comprehensive strategic based study will enhance strength to previous study. Interview and Focus Group Discussion conducted to fill the information needed qualitatively. Wide-ranging roles by diverse backgrounds from five elements Penta Helix (government, academic, media, business, and community) able to strengthen promotion in integrated information manner. The proposed result that might be able to give effect positive in the long term in promotion of tourism sector.

Sumedang Regency is a  natural, historical and cultural tourist destination. There are still many tourism potentials that have not been built and developed optimally. The natural resources of the Sumedang regency in rivers can be used as unique interest tourism resources, namely rafting.  These resources can support the vision and mission of tourism in Sumedang regency who want to build their territory as a natural, historical and cultural tourism destination and special interests that are well known both nationally and internationally. To find out the potential of research conducted with the title Of Analysis of Tourism Product Potential in Sumedang Regency. The method of research conducted is qualitative. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, documentation and library studies. While the data analysis techniques used are descriptive. The results showed that, especially in the Cipeles river, Citepok village could develop rafting tourism products. The unique attraction of the Cipeles river is that the river flow is in grade 2 rafting path and a line flanked by beautiful rock cliffs. Tourist facilities such as inns and restaurants are adequate. Additional services such as financial, security, health and rafting services are available around Citepok village.

This research is based on the phenomenon of a shift in tourist behaviour during the Covid-19 pandemic. Cleanliness, Health, Safety, and Environment (CHSE) are the primary considerations for tourists when deciding to choose a tourist destination while on vacation, beating other aspects such as low prices. This study provides an initial picture of how tourists perceive the application of CHSE in a tourist destination. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative through a survey using a questionnaire, then the results are tabulated into a frequency distribution table. The results of this study indicate that according to the perception of tourists who are dominated by the Millennials market segment, assessing that the application of CHSE in destinations around Bandung Raya is in the category of fair. Nepal Van Java is a tourism attraction that offers the beauty of local residences in Mount Sumbing slope located in Dusun Butuh, Magelang. According to a simple calculation of average visits up to a thousand visitors in one day, Nepal Van Java has a high visitors number according to a simple estimate of average visits. However, at this time, there are not many rural tourism products offered by Nepal Van Java because this destination is still in the planning stage where there is no planning for rustic tourism products. The purpose of this paper is to describe the planning process related to the village tourism product. Qualitative research methods have applied to this research, resulting in an understanding of the actual condition of village tourism products. Detailed planning related to Nepal Van Java tourism products includes planning on facilities, transportation systems, and introduction of visitors, with the idea of focusing on optimizing agricultural resources as agrotourism, potential aids for farm stays, and culture.
