The subject of this research is broadcasting in the modern digital age. The object is the modern Russian online radio broadcasting. The goal lies in examination of the role of online radio broadcasting in the modern Russian digital space. The author aims to trace the dynamics of the development of online radio broadcasting in Russia and abroad, summarize the conclusions of the Russian researchers on the development trends of online radio broadcasting in Russia for the past decade, analyze the current state of Russian online radio broadcasting with its positive and negative sides, make recommendation for optimization of the study of Russian online radio broadcasting. The novelty of this article lies in the analysis of evolution of the Russian online radio broadcasting in the context of modern trends of the Russian and US information space. The conclusion is made that online radio broadcasting occupies a special niche within the global and Russian digital information space for the two decades of the XXI century. The dynamically developing information technologies enhance the convergent nature of this type of media, contributing to its penetration into modern social networks through mobile telephony. The US statistical data indicate testify to the growing popularity of online radio broadcasting in the United States. Various Russian data indicate a decline in the popularity of radio broadcasting overall, but rise of popularity of online radio broadcasting among certain segments of the Russian audience. The Russian academic community should increase cooperation with the media research centers to arrange consistent sources of statistical information for optimization of the study of online radio broadcasting in Russia.

The age of modern technology has created the online radio "THR Gegar" which is an alternative radio channel to fans of the radio channel by using the Internet and mobile gadgets in its broadcasting without having to bother finding the right frequency to get its broadcast wave. This study aims to examine the factors that influence the attitude of online radio use "THR Gegar" among students of Universiti Utara Malaysia. This study uses a quantitative methodology that is a survey of questionnaires. Distribution of questionnaires was given to students of Universiti Utara Malaysia, especially INASIS Petronas. This study uses descriptive statistical analysis, Pearson and Spearman correlation analysis and t-test to analyze the entire collected data. The results of the study found that there is a positive relationship between knowledge, ease of use, usefulness, enjoyment and frequency of use of online radio "THR Gegar" on the attitude of online radio use "THR Gegar". While, there is no difference between the gender and the attitude of using the radio. Based on the results of this study, the factors that influence the attitude of online radio use "THR Gegar" are knowledge, easy to use, useful, enjoyment and frequency of use of online radio "THR Gegar". The results of this study are significant in terms of the development of theory, methodology and field of digital radio broadcasting.   Keywords: Attitude, Technology Acceptance Model, "THR Gegar" Online Radio

Radio in a college has now developed sufficiently. Radio Unas is a radio broadcast owned by the National University that is managed by the Unas TV and Radio Laboratory. Present online radio or website based radio streaming. Radio streaming is a technology that sends audio files simultaneously to many users. The purpose of this research is to build and develop a National University online radio using Icecast as a freeware and winamp streaming radio as software used for radio broadcast media. The design of this information system through several discussions is a needs analysis, system design, testing and implementation. With streaming radio at the National University, the public and students of the National University do not miss the latest information about the National University and become a means of entertainment for National University students and the public as long as they are connected to the internet. From the trial results of the National University's online radio site, the streaming radio system can help the public and students of the National University to provide streaming radio content, listen to music and view activities from the National University Radio through the website
