Chondroitin syringoma, also known as cutaneous mixed tumor, is a rare type of sweat gland tumor, accounting for 0.01% to 0.1% of all primary tumors of the skin. The malignant form is extremely rare, with 41 cases described so far. It predominates in the trunk and distal extremities and affects women more frequently, with a 3: 2 rate 6,7. Patients may reach the health service with large lesions due to the fact of being slow-growing lesions and have a high rate of recurrence, requiring surgical treatment that may lead to extensive defects making complex reconstructions necessary. We present a case of malignant chondroid syringoma in an 80 years old male patient, with 29 years of evolution and unusual size. A reconstruction was performed with a muscular dorsal flap of the latissimus dorsi with good aesthetic and functional results, with no signs of recurrence after 8 months of follow-up. It is concluded that because it is a late diagnosis neoplasia, the surgical treatment ends up generating expressive defects. There for musculocutaneous should be considered as an option for reconstruction, aiming optimal functional and aesthetic restoration.

The authors describe the case of a 71-year-old female patient who initially went to the dermatologist to assess a scalp skin tumor. This lesion was submitted to an incisional biopsy, performed by dermatologist herself, and the result of the anatomopathological examination and immunohistochemical study showed a preliminary diagnosis of metastasis of breast carcinoma. The patient had no history of breast cancer and, in view of this result, she was referred to consult with the mastologist, who carried out an investigation of breast nodules in search of the possible primary focus of the carcinoma, through imaging exams, biopsies and mammotomy, without finding any possible primary focus on the breasts. Finally, the lesion on the scalp was removed in its entirety by the plastic surgeon and a new exam of pathological anatomy and an immunohistochemical study confirmed the diagnosis of metastasis of breast carcinoma. In view of these results, the authors discuss the difficulty in diagnosing differentiation from primary or metastatic neoplasm of the scalp, with the resources currently available, until the conclusion that it was a primary carcinoma of the sweat gland.

Spiradenocarcinoma, or malignant eccrine spiradenoma (MES), is a rare sweat gland tumor originating from eccrine sweat glands. To the best of our knowledge, only two cases of MES of the external auditory canal have been reported to date. Here, we report a third case of MES located in the external auditory canal.

Hidradenocarcinoma (HC) is a rare malignant sweat gland tumor with metastatic potential primarily located in the head, neck, and trunk. We present an unusual case of a large lower extremity Clear Cell HC managed with surgical resection and adjuvant locoregional radiation after excluding lymph node involvement.

Primary cutaneous apocrine carcinoma is a rare malignant tumor that originates from apocrine sweat glands. Apocrine sweat gland tumor is infrequent: the first case was published by Horn in 1944 and less than 50 cases are described in literature worldwide. For this reason, there are no clear guidelines for the management and treatment of this uncommon cancer. We report a clinical case of primary cutaneous apocrine carcinoma in a 86 year-old female patient.

Hidradenoma is a rare benign adnexal sweat gland tumor with eccrine or apocrine differentiation. In the skin, it is usually in the form of a solitary skin nodule. The treatment is complete surgical resection with healthy margins, given the high rate of recurrence and the possibility of malignant transformation. We report a case.

The main types of normal sweat glands are eccrine and apocrine. The papillary eccrine adenoma is a rare, benign, sweat gland tumor. The clinical aspect is a slow growing solitary dermal nodule on the extremities, less frequently involving the trunk or face. Here it was described a case of papillary eccrine adenoma developed in the scapular-humeral region in a 72 years old man. The K5+/K7+/K8/18+/ K19+/SMA+/ S100+ immunohistochemical profile and the morphological aspects support the diagnostic of papillary eccrine adenoma. The immunohistochemical profile is useful for the differential diagnostic and may increase the diagnosis accuracy.
