With development of nonlinear construction theory and digital technology, parameterization construction design has drawn extensive attention in construction industry as a new method of solving complex problems in construction. Parameterization design method has broken through the qualitative and transcendental design methods for design issues in the traditional design process. After getting rid of the form constraint of Euclidean geometry, generation of construction space and form is on the judgment basis of quantized data. Such bottom-up dynamic design process has broken through imprisonment of traditional form and construction design has returned to the original point of rational creation. In this paper, a certain foundation is laid for theoretical researches on development, influence and future of parameterization design from the aspects of parameterization design concept, tool, scheme generation, its influence on design thinking, etc.

With the development of mechanical industry, more and more standard parts have been used in all kinds of large assembly process. The same kinds but different types of standard parts are used, making it boring and difficult to build standard parts. Therefore, this article describes a rapid modeling method of standard parts Based on UG Part Families and Excel database. According to the concrete examples, the procedures for establishing the standard parts library were presented. The method is simple and practical, no secondary development is needed and the design efficiency is increased.

The design of lathe saddle depends on the designer experience mostly. To solve this problem, the 3D model is established to analyze the mode frequency base on parameterization design and the modal sensitivity of design parameters of lathe saddle is analyzed. According to the results of modal analysis, the sensitivity curves of important design parameters that have great influence on modal frequency are found out. These results are vital reference for the design of lathe saddle.

Parameterization design was applied to actuator structural design and three-dimensional entity modeling of brake by wire system. Based on pro-engineering software environment, motor driving entity model of brake by wire system was established. Motion transformation device, force booster device, cylindrical gear decelerate device were included. According to relative motor parameters and structural function of the equation, structural design of motion transformation device, force booster device and cylindrical gear decelerate device were carried on. Under Pro-E entity modeling platform, three-dimensional entity model of brake by wire system was established.

On the basis of proposing the general ultrasonic testing system, this paper discusses the concept and the composite module of computer aided ultrasonic testing scheme planning. By the thought of ultrasonic testing part family and modularization parameterization design, and the paper induces the needed study to solute the theory question and each key technologies of ultrasonic testing scheme. Finally, it simply introduced the developed computer aided ultrasonic testing scheme planning system of rotational parts.
