The article concludes the description of the standard regional infocommunication system “Student and Labor” (ST), begun by the authors in previous publications in the “Informatics and Education” journal. This system is an integral part of the regional system for identifying, developing and involving creatively gifted youth in labor activity, starting from high school age. The S&T system is aimed at identifying and developing university students who are creatively gifted in the field of science and technology in the process of their gradual involvement in real labor activities in cooperation with leading enterprises in the region. The S&T system is aimed at identifying and developing university students who are creatively gifted in the field of science, technology and technology in the process of their gradual involvement in real labor activity in interaction with the leading enterprises of the region. Organizational and informational issues of its creation and functioning were discussed in previous articles, this article presents tools that allows a student to most effectively plan the developmental content of his activities, taking into account individual goals and interests, available resources, as well as a wide range of opportunities provided by the surrounding socio-economic environment. The central part of the toolkit is an individually adjustable optimization mathematical model. The article provides a formalized description of this model and considers an example of its use.

The article deals with the issues of search, development, and support of gifted students in 21 leading Russian universities, which are the participants of the Project 5-100. Project 5-100 is a state program to assist universities, which is being implemented in Russia since 2013. The article aims to study the experience of solving some problematic issues of work with gifted students in some leading Russian universities. The material for the research was the “Road maps” (development program) of each university, as well as information from the official websites of universities. The analysis resulted in the model of interaction with intellectually gifted young people «search-development-support». Mechanisms to stimulate this category of people were systematized. The distinctive feature in the realization of the given policy is the creation of the special centers for work with gifted youth in 5 universities.

The leading forms of recruiting the gifted youth to solution of innovative tasks are scientific workshops and conferences. The Russian Young Scientist School-Conference “Ecotoxicology” has been held in Tula State University since 2006, and it plays an important role in training biotechnologists in environmental field of research.

The attention of modern society to intellectual potential makes the problem of studying mathematically gifted youth at the stage of self-determination in higher education relevant. Practical problems related to the psychological features of social adaptation of mathematically gifted youth require solving. The main goal of the research is to study the social and perceptual abilities of mathematically gifted students. The study sample consisted of 76 natural science students aged 17-23 years (M=19.8, SD=3.2 (58% men). The research methods were: testing (test of analytical mathematical abilities, test of the structure of intelligence (TSI) of R. Amthauer), expert assessment, survey (questionnaire of V. A. Krutetsky, questionnaires aimed at diagnosing socio-perceptual abilities), statistical methods. Self-assessment of intelligence, composite assessment, and some components of social intelligence and some components of empathy are significantly different. The ability of mathematical generalization and practical mathematical thinking have a greater number of relationships with social and perceptual properties. Here we found relationships not only with empathy, but also the ability to recognize verbal expression and the General ability to understand and manage their own and other people’s emotions. The ability to operate images in two-dimensional space is related only to the level and components of emotional intelligence. According to the results of the study, the features of socio-perceptual properties of students with different levels of analytical mathematical abilities are described. The conclusions can be used in the development of a program of psychological support for this category of students.

Instruments for developing super-professional skills, such as entrepreneurial activity, creativity, teamwork, communication skills, are especially necessary for graduates whose professions are at risk of a decrease in employment opportunities in a changing labor market due to a pandemic. The problem is especially acute for graduates of areas related to services, tourism, catering and others. The paper presents the Lobachevsky University experience in the implementation of mass education competition of projects with use online platform i-generation. Such tools are important for gifted students, which motivation depends on the recognition and validation of their high results, from professional and behavioral content that help identify giftedness.
