Objective:To investigate post-traumatic growth (PTG) and analyze its correlation with professional self-identity and social support in Chinese nurses who faced the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) epidemic.Methods:A cross-sectional descriptive design was used in this study. An online questionnaire was completed by 266 nurses who faced the COVID-19 emergency in Hubei Province, China. The Post-traumatic Growth Inventory (PTGI), Professional Self-identity Scale, and Perceived Social Support Scale were used to assess the level of PTG, professional self-identity, and social support. Descriptive, univariate analysis and multiple regression analyses were used in exploring related influencing factors.Results:Participants' mean scores were 96.26 (SD = 21.57) for PTG, 115.30 (SD = 20.82) for professional self-identification, and 66.27 (SD = 12.90) for social support. Multiple regression analysis showed that nurses from other provinces moving to support Hubei Province, professional self-identity, and social support were the main factors affecting nurse stress (p = 0.014, < 0.001, and 0.017, respectively). Professional self-identity and social support were positively correlated with PTG (r = 0.720 and 0.620, respectively).Conclusions:There was a phenomenon of PTG when the nurses faced COVID-19 in Hubei Province. Providing an active coping style helps to improve the level of PTG.

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES. The changes in society associated with the country's transition to an innovative way of development radically change the nature and goals of labor activity. Profession under such conditions is considered by a person as a source of material well-being and gaining the desired social status. Professional self-determination occurs too late or is realized as forced, so the lack of opportunity to realize one's professional preferences has a negative impact on the individual and on society as a whole. As a result, in recent decades there has been a significant increase in the requirements of modern employers to the professional training of graduates of educational institutions. A young specialist must improve in the profession, be ready to change professional activity, i.e. be socially and professionally mobile, scientifically established, which can be realized with the help of Hackathon-ecosystem.METHODS. Collection of information, survey of students and teachers were carried out using a systematic approach on the basis of the Hackathon ecosystem. Processing of the obtained information, definition of scientific statements, generation of conclusions and practical recommendations were carried out with the help of the software product "Methodology of studying students' adaptation to dual education in higher education".FINDINGS. It is proved that the research activity of students is a necessary condition for their professional self-determination, acts as part of a holistic, long-term, dynamic process of entry into the profession and as a result of the choice and design of their future professional activity. Students' involvement in research activity largely determines the effectiveness of their social and professional development.CONCLUSION. Research activity of university students is an effective means of forming knowledge, abilities and skills necessary for personal and professional self-determination. It not only stimulates and motivates personal and intellectual development, contributes to the continuation of education, proves the degree of its readiness and acts as one of the guarantors of the success of the process of professional self-determination in general.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran self-care guru Bimbingan dan Konseling di SMA Negeri se-DKI Jakarta. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 195 guru BK dengan menggunakan teknik convenience sampling. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survey. Pengumpulan data dilakukan secara online dengan menggunakan instrumen Professional Self-Care Scale.  Hasil penelitian menunjukan pada umumnya self-care guru BK di SMA Negeri se-DKI Jakarta berada pada kategori tinggi dengan rerata sebesar 123.14. Sebanyak 184 guru BK (94.36%) memiliki self-care tinggi, terdapat 11 guru BK (5.64%)  memiliki self-care sedang, dan tidak ada satupun guru BK yang memiliki self-care rendah. Pengembangan profesional mendapat rerata paling tinggi sebesar 6.20, sedangkan keseimbangan harian mendapat rerata terendah dengan skor 5.10. Strategi kognitif mendapati rerata sebesar 6.10, dukungan profesional mendapat rerata sebesar 5.90, dan keseimbangan hidup mendapat rerata sebesar 5.80.  Hasil ini menunjukan bahwa guru BK mampu mencari peluang untuk pertumbuhan profesional dan keterlibatan dalam kegiatan profesional yang menyenangkan, dapat memantau stres serta reaksi di tempat kerja, mampu menumbuhkan hubungan saling mendukung dengan rekan kerja, mampu membina hubungan dan kegiatan di luar pekerjaan, namun mereka masih membutuhkan pengembangan tentang mengelola tuntutan pekerjaan serta mengelola kegiatan sehari-hari.

Improving software security in software development teams is an enduring challenge for software companies. In this chapter, the authors present one strategy for addressing this pursuit of improvement. The approach is ambidextrous in the sense that it focuses on approaching software security activities both from a top-down and a bottom-up perspective, combining elements usually found separately in software security initiatives. The approach combines (1) top-down formal regulatory mechanisms deterring breaches of protocol and enacting penalties where they occur and (2) bottom-up capacity building and persuasive encouragement of adherence to guidance by professional self-determination, implementation, and improvement support (e.g., training, stimulating, interventions). The ambidextrous governance framework illustrates distinct, yet complementary, global and local roles: (1) ensuring the adoption and implementation of software security practices, (2) enabling and (3) empowering software development teams to adapt and add to overall mandates, and (4) embedding cultures of improvement.

Given the negative demographic trends and the aging of labor resources in most regions of Russia, it is important to curb educational migration away from them. The study of the mechanisms of professional self-determination of schoolchildren goes beyond pedagogical tasks in the field of public administration and regional economy. Psychological mechanisms of career choice and educational strategy building were widely studied during the twentieth century, but the question of the influence of social conditions in a particular region on the professional self-determination of young people remains poorly understood. Solving the problems of professional self-determination of schoolchildren requires the synthesis of personality-oriented and socially-oriented pedagogical approaches. The article examines the factors that determine the professional self-determination of school graduates and analyzes the conditions and patterns of schoolchildren’s professional self�determination, together with the potential of their influence on educational strategy by regional universities. The research hypothesis is that, when providing pedagogical support for professional self-determination of pupils, it is necessary to take into account both their personal characteristics and individual motives, as well as socio-economic factors that determine the choice of educational strategy. The research used comparative analysis, classification, generalization, an inter-disciplinary review of literature and socio-economic statistics, a sociological survey, and expert assessments. The main results are the description of models of professional self-determination of school graduate based on their awareness, values, self-efficacy assessment, and the justification of the principles of career guidance. A survey of school graduates in the Ulyanovsk region in 2018-2019 (n=2075) showed that a significant number of graduates lacked professional plans and knowledge about regional universities and universities in other cities. The study revealed the professional interests of school graduates and their plans for educational migration from the region. School graduates did not justify their choice of a career and educational strategies by their professional interests, but rather on their desired standard of living upon graduation. It established that the quality of education at the university is not a determining factor for potential applicants. As actors in the regional educational space, professional education organizations can have a greater impact on the processes of professional self-determination of high school students. The results indicate the importance of regional socio-economic conditions for professional self�determination of school graduates, their educational strategy and choice of university. The study confirmed that their professional self-determination follows the principles of the Social Cognitive Career Theory.

Caring in acute and critical care rooms has a more complex and dynamic nature due to unstable patient conditions and requires more attention from nurses. Nurses' technological competence represents their caring based on nursing science practice. This study aimed to find out how nurses’perception of caring based on technology in the Intensive Care Unit and Emergency Room in Jember Region. This study used a quantitative method based on a descriptive survey. This study used a total sampling, with a total of 47 nurses as respondents. The researcher used a demographic questionnaire and modification of caring attribute, professional self-concept, and technological influence scale to collect data. In this study, univariate analysis was applied to analyze the data. The median score was 68, as the scores approach the maximum score of 76. This study demonstrates that nurses have a good perception toward caring based on technology. The conclusion on this study is nurses perception of caring based on technology are generally positive. To further improve nurses' perceptions of caring expressed through technological competence, the researcher advises the managerial department to facilitate education and training on technological competence in order to provide better care and caring to patients. A administração e os professores do Departamento de Design e Belas Artes dão grande importância ao museu e à prática ao ar livre, onde os jovens têm a oportunidade de conhecer as obras-primas da cultura mundial e estudar os monumentos da arquitetura e da arte, cuja percepção ativa é parte integrante de sua futura profissão.
