Abstract This article sets out to critically examine how the idea of what a book can be is changing in relation to the growth of digitally social communities and the writers and readers who congregate in these spaces, and to identify how this connectivity is altering the balance of power between the traditional industry and those who choose to write and share their work in a global village. By offering a succinct consideration of the role of social media, citizen authors, communities, gender, and genre, it can potentially help publishers determine if they need to alter the way they provide access to the industry, conventionally through the hierarchical author–agent–publisher gatekeeping system, in order to take advantage of new authors who are writing in digital communities and building a following there.

In a globalized reality, Christian churches must rediscover its place. The task is extremely difficult as it’s impossible to know where the congregation’s spiritual needs are heading. Migration and mass media rise as well as problematic identities and roles influence the deepening of the differentiation process, which makes it difficult to define unambiguous scenarios regarding the future of the religious market. On the other hand, the prolificacy of the presented theories proves religion’s unusually complex nature and context. The article’s aim was to present the most significant forecasts on where Christian churches will stand in the today’s global village.

The research methodology is to use methods of questionnaires, surveys, interviews among students to study the prospects, advantages, disadvantages and opportunities of academic mobility. The results of the study cover the internal and external mobility of university students and provide an opportunity to assess the dynamics of quantitative indicators of international mobility. Factors influencing the academic mobility of students and graduate students are identified. The types of academic mobility that are the most common among university students are identified and the importance of academic mobility for the success of student learning and future career development is clarified. The internationalization of higher education stimulates the quality of education, the diversity of education, and the free exchange of educational resources. This, in turn, generates opportunities for students to experience a "global village" along with an appreciation for other cultures - one of the many "hidden" benefits.

The present economic crises induced by covid pandemic have called our attention toreconsider where we are heading as a global community; because as we know withthe emergence of ubiquitous Internet, then the world has become a global village inreal sense.. Shall we lend ourselves to directive and -at times- insistence to move tonew economy called the industrial revolution 4.0? Or is there another way, even if itseems like a less traveled path for now? In this article, we also re-introduce Pancasilafrom Indonesian weltanschauung (fundamental tenets) to become one of these lesstravelled path available at our table. The essence of the Indonesian Five Principles(Pancasila) is to return to spirit of communal values, but in a peaceful way, not viarevolution. That is a path that in Indonesia, is called as “gotong royong” (or to put itin a more scientific term: cooperative collective dynamics).
