The energy crisis and environmental impact are the major concern mf the present world. Three-wheeler auto-rickshaw becoming an important passenger transport vehicle in a developing country which are indirectly powered by the grid electricity through the batteries. Such vehicle consumes significant grid energy during charging which increases the load in the national grid and put extra stress on the electrification in line with the environmental impact. This paper investigated the existing facilities for charging auto-rickshaw in Bangladesh and designed a proposed solar charging model as a replacement based on the existing model. Then the energy and environmental benefit were estimated to reflect the significance of the proposed model and contribution in the context of the global energy crisis and environmental impact. The investigation found that the daily energy consumption is 290 kWh for a charging station capacity of 30 auto-rickshaws which is significant. The proposed solar model is designed to meet this demand offset. The environmental analysis showed that the proposed model can offset CO2, CH4, and NOx emissions by 54 tCO2eq, 40 kgCO2eq, and 60 kgCO2eq per year respectively of which the contribution of CO2 is significant. Further research could be focused on the economic and financial analysis in-depth to promote the proposed model.

The review of the literature devoted to the research of public transport vehicle (PTV) dwell time required for passenger boarding-deboarding at a stop confirms the importance of taking this time into account when modelling passenger transportation. The data about the dwell time were collected in different time periods for different PTVs in various cities and countries. Thus, there is no general model allowing to define the distribution parameters of dwell time variable and answer the question on the regularities in time values. So, the research of the PTV dwell time at the public transport stops in Kharkiv remains actual. Goal. The search of the regularities in transport system performance indicators including PTV dwell time at a stop will allow to apply relevant mathematical methods for the development of the forecast models which are valuable in the field of organization of passenger transportation and servicing. Methodology. The developed methodology to collect data about PTV dwell time at the stops will allow receiving high-quality survey data. The designed survey sheets enable a surveyor to record all needed information and prepare it for processing. The collected data will allow to define the distribution of the PTV dwell time at a stop. Results. The conducted PTV dwell time survey allowed to collect the sufficient amount of data to estimate the distribution of this variable. During the research, it was determined that the empirical dwell time distribution can be well described with the theoretical gamma distribution. The latter distribution appeared to be applicable for all surveyed PTVs. Originality. The defined distribution of the PTV dwell time at a stop for passenger boarding-deboarding allows receiving the results of passenger flows modelling which are more precise compared to the modelling with no dwell time consideration. The use of the dwell time regularities in the procedure of passenger flows assignment results in the increased precision of flow volumes estimation by up to 14.9 % – from 2.28 % to 1.94 %. Practical value. The received results support the fact that the research of PTV dwell time at a stop is actual, and the solution of the task of dwell time distribution estimation will make it possible to improve passenger flows modelling in public transport route systems.

The 5th of June 2021 will mark 41 years since the launch of the first manned spacecraft of the Soyuz T series. The difficulty of training to fly on the Soyuz T spacecraft was that the entire training base, all descriptions and guides necessary to study the ship and prepare the crews in a regular way, lagged behind the pro-cess of vehicle designing. In the course of the first trainings and flights, the forms, methods and training programs were worked out. The problem of re-training cosmonauts who performed flights on the Soyuz spacecraft was particu-larly critical.

The article considers the possibilities of automated use of robotic equipment in order to form an infrastructure for moving goods at enterprises. Areas of application of algorithmic programming languages of object-oriented type in robotics are investigated. The algorithm of operation of a transport vehicle, the movement, which is based on the recognition of the line of motion, describing the route of movement, is presented. The analysis of the peculiarities of the implementation of such problems with the use of OpenCv software library was carried out. The structure of the vehicle is proposed, in particular: its driving mechanisms, control scheme, engines and wheelbase. Further development was made to the algorithms for the management of crawler lorries and the ways of their program realization in various spheres of entrepreneurial activity, where there is a need for the transfer of cargoes in the ordinary areas (construction sites, forest lands, open warehouses, airports, etc.). Based on the proposals for creating a cargo robot that can be moved according to a given route, the model of control system of conveyor systems, which solve the issues of automation of technological processes in the part of the addition of conveyor systems, is presented. The analysis of literary sources describing the necessity of creating mobile conveyor systems in production, which enables to quickly re-equip production processes to unforeseen needs, was carried out.

The present paper aims to be useful for public transport operators and municipalities, as it should enable them to make decisions and to optimize public transport schedules during peak hours. In this study, we outline the data and the means necessary for the creation and use of a specific database for a dynamic spatial analysis of the public transportation network. This will facilitate the analysis of public transport vehicle operating programs and the simulation of new transport programs using open-source software. This paper delivers the first digital map of the public transport in Bucharest. Using the QGIS software and the PostgresSQL database, (i) we analyzed the accessibility of public transport stops for residential areas (5-min isochrones, corresponding to walking distances of 400 m), and (ii) we determined the correlation of transport vehicle programs with the existing transport network to optimize the headway of vehicles. These two elements were considered for the analysis of public transport performance. The research study was based on the tram network in Bucharest, but it can be easily upscaled for the entire public transport network and may be replicated in other large cities.
