The article analyzes the mechanisms and advantages of the simultaneous (simultaneous) use of an alternating low-frequency electrostatic field and transcranial magnetic therapy with a traveling magnetic field in relation to the parameters of microhemodynamics in patients with metabolic syndrome. It has been established that the different efficiency in the isolated application of a low-frequency electrostatic field and transcranial magnetotherapy is due to different points of application of their corrective activity. The vasorelaxing effect of the electrostatic field is based on the ability of a physiotherapeutic factor to enhance the secretion of vasorelaxing biologically active substances, as well as to increase the functional activity of the microvascular endothelium, followed by the release of endothelium-relaxing factors. The leading mechanism of the transcranial effect of an alternating magnetic field is the central sedative effect and normalizing effects on the neuroendocrine processes in the body, stimulating peripheral vasodepression. It is shown that the greatest efficiency in the correction of disorders of microcirculatory-tissue systems is observed with the simultaneous use of these physiotherapeutic factors. The dominant type of interaction between a low-frequency electrostatic field and transcranial magnetotherapy is supraadditive synergism, in which additional efficiency is formed as a result of the mutual influence of subeffective shifts caused by each of the physiological factors. The simultaneous use of physiotherapeutic factors, with a number of advantages, is a promising area of innovative development of physiotherapeutic technologies

BACKGROUND: The information-predictive approach can be used for determining biomarkers as predictors that allow predicting the effectiveness of the treatment of chronic generalized periodontitis using the combined use of ozone and transcranial magnetotherapy. AIMS: Determination of the set of initial morphometric parameters that have predictive significance, as well as the development of a method for the integral assessment of the clinical effectiveness of the combined use of ozone and transcranial magnetotherapy in patients with chronic generalized periodontitis. MATERIALS AND METHODS: A multiple regression model was built, which establishes the relationship between the dependent variable (effective sign treatment effectiveness) and the value of independent variables (factors characterizing the initial state of patients). RESULTS: It has been established that the technology of combined use of ozone and transcranial magnetotherapy is most effective in the initial clinical manifestations of chronic generalized periodontitis and minimal values of other pathogenetically significant parameters (microcirculation, oxygen metabolism, lipid peroxidation disorders) in the initial state. CONCLUSION: The clinical and laboratory cluster identified as a result of mathematical analysis the index of bleeding of the gingival sulcus, the volume of nutritive blood flow, the fluorescent indicator of oxygen consumption, the quality of life according to the Daily Life domain generalized periodontitis, determining the indications and contraindications for the use of this treatment regimen for inflammatory periodontal diseases.

Background. The study of hormonal status in patients with erectile dysfunction (ED), especially the older and senior age groups, is most often limited to the evaluation of testosterone fractions Aim:demonstrate the effectiveness of transcranial magnetotherapy in a combined treatment regimen for patients with empty sella syndrome (ESS). Methods. Results of diagnostics examination and treatment of 118 patients with the ED hormonal form at the age of 2357 are studied. The expressiveness of disturbances of erectile function and signs of androgenic deficiency are estimated by means of questionnaires of AMS and a scale of Morley, the penil color flow Doppler ultrasound with intracavernous pharmacological tests is carried out, the hormonal status is estimated. At suspicion of neuroendocrine pathology MRI of the brain is executed. At all examined patients signs of decrease erectile functions are revealed. In 62 (52.5%) observations during MRI the picture of ESS is revealed. In 22 (18.6%) observations the changes of an eyeground demonstrating increase in intracranial pressure takes place, however loss of fields of vision is not observed in any of patient. Persistent headaches are noted in 19 (16.1%) observations. In 46 (39%) observations at patients with considerable obesity signs of disturbance of tolerance to glucose and insulin resistance are revealed. To patients hormone replacement therapy is appointed, at identification of a hyperprolactinemia agonists of dopamine receptors in an individual dosage under control of level of prolactin are used, therapy of intracranial hypertensia is carried out. In complex therapy transcranial magnetotherapy is used. Results.Therapy is effective, during treatment increase in frequency and duration of sexual intercourses is noted. At control Doppler researches of a penis improvement of a regional hemodynamics is noted. Cancellation of medicines lead to resuming of symptomatology of a disease. Conclusion. Thus, the research shows powerful value of a syndrome of ESS in a pathogeny of ED demanding multidisciplinary approach with involvement of adjacent specialists endocrinologists, neurologists and ophthalmologists. It is important to note that ESS, in most cases, is an accidental tomographic finding, at the same time often is followed by disturbance of tolerance to glucose, obesity, a metabolic syndrome. Introduction in complex therapy of transcranial magnetic influence substantially improves results of treatment of this category of patients, as due to additional stimulation of synthesis of pituitary hormones, and cerebral decompression.

Aim. To evaluate the dynamics of the quality of life, symptoms of anxiety and depression in patients with chronic insomnia against the background of complex sanatorium-and-health resort treatment with inclusion of transcranial magnetotherapy (TCMT). Materials and methods. 63 patients (mean age 53.1 ± 1.4 years) with verified diagnosis of chronic insomnia were examined. The patients were divided into 2 randomized groups by means of randomized sampling technique: 33 patients of the main group were administered a basic sanatorium complex including nitric-siliceous baths with low content of radon, massage of head and collar zone, terrencure, cognitive-behavioral therapy, group psychotherapy, transcerebral magnetotheprapy; 30 patients of the comparison group had the same therapy, but no TCMT. Results. When analyzing the initial data before treatment, high levels of subclinical and clinically manifested anxiety and depression were revealed in all patients with insomnia. When comparing subjective complaints before and after treatment within both groups, a reliable dynamics in anxiety and depression assessment was detected. In the main group with TCMT used, the results of treatment were significantly better, than in the comparison group. In the comparison group, positive reliable dynamics of the quality of life indices was also noted, but it was statistically less significant by all scales, than in the main group. Conclusions. Transcranial magnetotherapy, included into complex of sanatorium-and-health resort treatment of chronic insomnia patients, permits to reduce subjective clinical symptoms of anxiety and depression and improve patients’ quality of life, mostly of psychological component of their health status.
