The article analyzes the mechanisms and advantages of the simultaneous (simultaneous) use of an alternating low-frequency electrostatic field and transcranial magnetic therapy with a traveling magnetic field in relation to the parameters of microhemodynamics in patients with metabolic syndrome. It has been established that the different efficiency in the isolated application of a low-frequency electrostatic field and transcranial magnetotherapy is due to different points of application of their corrective activity. The vasorelaxing effect of the electrostatic field is based on the ability of a physiotherapeutic factor to enhance the secretion of vasorelaxing biologically active substances, as well as to increase the functional activity of the microvascular endothelium, followed by the release of endothelium-relaxing factors. The leading mechanism of the transcranial effect of an alternating magnetic field is the central sedative effect and normalizing effects on the neuroendocrine processes in the body, stimulating peripheral vasodepression. It is shown that the greatest efficiency in the correction of disorders of microcirculatory-tissue systems is observed with the simultaneous use of these physiotherapeutic factors. The dominant type of interaction between a low-frequency electrostatic field and transcranial magnetotherapy is supraadditive synergism, in which additional efficiency is formed as a result of the mutual influence of subeffective shifts caused by each of the physiological factors. The simultaneous use of physiotherapeutic factors, with a number of advantages, is a promising area of innovative development of physiotherapeutic technologies

Purpose: Experimental study of the antitumor mechanism of increasing the functional activity of phagocytes with a general effect on the body of a weak low-frequency vortex magnetic field (VMP). Material and methods: The functional activity of phagocytes was assessed upon activation by the intensity of chemiluminescence (CHL) on a Biolumat instrument (model LB 9500, by Berthold, Germany). Samples for in vitro and in vivo experiments were prepared according to generally accepted protocols. The impact of the VMP (Vmax = 3.0 mTl, f = 100 Hz) was performed using a Magnitoturbotron magnetotherapeutic installation (developed by NPF Az). Results: It was found in vitro experiments that the exposure of a suspension of VMP cells stimulated an increase in CHL by 58 % relative to the control, while the main contribution to the intensity of the signal of the CHL was made by neutrophils. In the study of the blood CHL of mice with subcutaneously inoculated melanoma B-16, it was established that the value of the specific CHL in the experiment with VFM by the end of the observation period (day 17) increased sharply (3 times) relative to the beginning of the observation and to the control at the same observation period was 3.3 times more. Experiments with whole blood of healthy donors and patients with breast cancer showed that the CHL curves over time were biphasic in nature and had two maxima, but the phase ratio was different. At donors, the main luminescence developed by the 100th minute, and a maximum of 30–40 min was mild. In patients with breast cancer, the first maximum at 30–40 min was the main, the second maximum was weak and came later than that of donors. Experiments with the effects of VMP on the organism of healthy and patients with breast cancer of people showed an increase in the functional activity of neutrophils as a result of exposure to VMP, but in patients with breast cancer, the level of CHL was significantly (3 times) higher than of healthy donors. Based on the research, it was concluded that exposure to the VMP is able to form a priming neutrophil. Сonclusion: It is shown that the overall effect of weak low-frequency VFM increases the level of nonspecific resistance of the organism to the tumor process, which expands the possibilities of rehabilitation of patients, allows expanding the compensatory capabilities of the body and reduce the risk of disease.

Absorbance of normally incident electromagnetic wave on a cold, weakly collisional, and inhomogeneous magnetoplasma slab is investigated. The plasma density is Budden-like sinusoidal profile, where the inhomogeniety is treated as a multilayered system of homogeneous sub-cells within the transfer matrix technique. For incident wave frequencies much above the ion cyclotron frequency, only right hand circularly polarized waves are relevant for wave propagation parallel to a static magnetic field. Calculations are performed in normalized parameters, that make the results suitable for many applications including atmospheric and laboratory plasmas. The presence of the dc-magnetic field leads to the formation of two absorption bands explained by plasma collisional dissipation and electron cyclotron resonance in the low frequency branch of the $R$-wave below the electron cyclotron frequency. The transmittance shows the emergence of the low frequency electron cyclotron wave, which becomes a Whistler mode at very low frequency. More detailed discussion on the effect of plasma collisionality, inhomogeneity, and dc-magnetic field on the propagation characteristics is given at the relevant place within the body of the manuscript.

The paper summarizes the findings of experimental studies on animals and literature data to show the characteristics of the lungs exposure to low-frequency acoustic vibrations. Experimental studies were performed on laboratory animals of different species (mice, rats, rabbits, dogs) exposed to low-frequency acoustic vibrations on the test bench set for several months. To assess lung injury, broncho-alveolar lavage, surfactant, biologically active substances in the tissues of the lung, extracellular low-molecular blood DNA were investigated, computerized tomography and postmortem methods were used. It has been established that that prolonged action of high-intensity low-frequency acoustic waves leads to structural damage to the lung parenchyma, lung airiness disorder, bronchi patency and metabolic functions of the lungs. The revealed disorders can serve as a structural basis for the development of such lung diseases as chronic non-specific lung disease of the obstructive bronchitis and/or focal emphysema type. Morphological and functional parameters of the lungs can be considered as criteria for the harmful effect of low-frequency acoustic vibrations on the human body and animals. The obtained experimental data allow us to formulate the concept of the mechanisms of the harmful effect of this physical factor on the lungs. The respiratory system is a critical organ in relation to low-frequency acoustic vibrations. It is necessary to correct the ideas of professional ‘noise’ pathology with regard to the damage to the hearing organ only in the form of neurosensory hearing loss. As it can be seen from the presented findings, the nature of disorders in the body is determined by the noise parameters (intensity, duration and spectral composition).

The search for new natural non-toxic biologically active substances for animals used to correct and stimulate metabolic processes, and through it the ability to control the growth and animals’ productivity, the state of their natural resistance is the main task of the present. The paper presents study results on the effect of cold-pressed amaranth oil and biologically active additive of humic nature «Humilid» when used simultaneously on the general body condition, growth indicators of laboratory rats, morphofunctional and biochemical parameters of their blood. To achieve this goal, the following tasks were set: – to investigate how cold-pressed amaranth oil affects the metabolic processes in the body of laboratory rats; – to conduct research and analyze the effect of the cold-pressed amaranth oil and a humic nature biologically active substance «Humilid» simultaneous use on the indicators of their homeostasis. To accomplish the tasks, the following research methods were used: physiological, morpho-functional, and blood biochemical analysis in experimental laboratory rats. Sexually mature male white rats of 2 months age were used in the experiment. For the study, three groups of animals were formed. The experiment lasted four weeks, during which the animals of the first experimental group received daily, in addition to the main feed settled amaranth oil in the amount of 0.1 ml per rat, and free access to the drinking water. Rats of the second experimental group in addition to the main feed received settled amaranth oil in the amount of 0.1 ml, and free access to the drinking of 0.005% solution Humilid. It was found that the simultaneous use of cold-pressed amaranth oil and Humilid in laboratory rats had a positive effect on the state of erythron, erythrocytes count increased by an average of 28% (P < 0.001), hemoglobin concentration by 10% (P < 0.05). At the same time in animals the biosynthetic function of the liver improved, the total protein content in the blood significantly increased by 10% (P < 0.05), and the amount of albumin by 25% (P < 0.01). Energy processes in the body of experimental animals were increased, that pointed a decrease in blood glucose levels by 22% (P < 0.05). The obtained data obtained indicates that the simultaneous use of amaranth oil and Humilid had a positive effect on the state of homeostasis and metabolic processes in the body of laboratory rats. Thus for them synergistic action is noted.

Domestic and foreign publications on the problem of low-frequency alternating magnetic fields effects on human being have been considered and analyzed in this review. The low-frequency magnetic field is biologically active factor whose effects and its result depend on many others factors, both external (magnetic fields’ frequency and intensity, exposure duration), and internal and individual ones, such as health of the person being subject to impact, nervous system’s state at the moment of exposure, the person’s nervous system excitability level, etc. The magnetic field may have either a positive (therapeutic) effects in certain modes and doses, and the negative one, adversely affecting person’s health (the negative effects, unfortunately, much more common and is considered as a harmful production factor and a factor of environmental pollution).

The aim of the study is to evaluate protective properties of the quark product manufactured with transglutaminase and enriched with probiotics, oligomerous proanthocyanidines and vitamins; the biological experiment on the growing laboratory Wistar stock rats has been carried out. The rats of two from three groups subjected within 21 days to the effect of low-frequency weak variable magnetic field received in semi-synthetic diet composition extra experimental and control samples of the quark product. The index of feed intake and the rats’ body mass growth was registered within 32 days. At the end of the experiment blood serum biochemical index was evaluated. It was revealed that the animals consuming the experimental product substantially gained the mass before the effect (gain from the 1st up to 10th days made up 12%) as well as after effect (gain from 11th up to 32nd days – 10.3%); upon completion of the experiment the gains of these animals exceeded the gains of the rats consuming the control product by more than 28%. The experiment revealed the lipolipedemic and hypoglycemic effect of the experimental quark product that has been evidenced by the significant reduction of cholesterol (by more than 20%), glucose (up to 40%) in the rats’ blood serum. On administration of the experimental dairy product in the animals’ diet subjected to the impact of low-frequency weak magnetic field the effect of the broken balance recovery in antioxidant/pro-oxidant system was observed due to reduction of pro-oxidant load at the enzymatic as well as low molecular links of the antioxidant system. The identified antioxidant and adaptogenic effect of the developed dairy product promoting to reduce the intensity of free-radical oxidation at the impact of low-frequency electromagnetic field on the body make it possible recommend it in dietotherapy for correction of antioxidant/pro-oxidant status.

This study is devoted to assessing the effect of a single simultaneous exposure to a low-frequency electrostatic field and transcranial magnetic therapy on non-specific systemic adaptation mechanisms. Objective: to evaluate the effect of a single combined exposure to a low-frequency electrostatic field and transcranial magnetic therapy on the stress-realizing and stress-limiting systems of the human body. Material and methods of research. The study involved 83 male volunteers aged 25 to 38 years (the average age was 31,4±0,33 years), who did not have any chronic diseases and risk factors for their development (the first health group), who were divided into four groups by simple fixed randomization. The first group (control group, 21 people) received placebo treatment (imitation of physiotherapy treatment with the device turned off). In the second group (main group 1, 20 people), the volunteers were singly exposed to transcranial magnetic therapy with traveling magnetic field (TMT TMF) using the device «Amo-Atos» with the attachment «Headband» (RU from 18.11.2011 №FSR 2011/12325). In the third group (main group 2, 21 people), the volunteers were singly exposed to low-frequency electrostatic field (LFESF) using the multifunctional therapeutic system «Khivamat-200» (RU from 12.04.2017 №RZN 2017/5597). To assess the stress-realizing and stress-limiting systems of the body, an analysis of heart rate variability (HRV) was performed, which allows determining the tone of the sympathetic and parasympathetic parts of the autonomic nervous system (ANS). Blood levels of ACTH, cortisol, glucagon, LPO products (malondialdehyde (MDA) and Schiff base (SB)), as well as insulin and the activity of antioxidant enzymes (SOD and catalase) were measured. The study was carried out three times: in the initial state, after 30 minutes, and a day after the end of the single exposure to the complex of physiofactors. The results obtained allow concluding that the criteria for the optimality of a combined single exposure to physiotherapeutic factors is a stable activation of stress-limiting mechanisms against the background of an initial moderate increase and gradual diminishment of stress-realizing manifestations. The dynamics of the estimated indicators observed a day after the exposure indicates the increasing adaptive capabilities of the body to minimize stress-damaging effects. A single simultaneous application of physiotherapy factors demonstrated the possibility of targeted implementation of the strategy of adaptation and control of the severity of physiological, hormonal and metabolic changes within the framework of a non-specific stress response, which opens up new opportunities for optimizing the treatment process.
