Recycled Al–Si (9.2%) alloy contaminated with Fe (0.3%), Pb (3.1%) and Sn (11.4 %) was cast and poured at 650 oC, approximately 50 oC above the liquidus line. A cooling slope was used to obtain a semisolid material that feeds a ceramic nozzle designed to function as a good contact area for solidification and improve the quality of strip casting. The internally cooled material rolls in soluble oil (1 oil / 9 water) at a rate of 0.2 l/s and works as a heat exchanger which drags the metallic slurry puddle generated at the roll surface at a speed of 0.12 m/s. This forms a metallic strip with a thickness of 2 mm and a width varying from approximately 45 mm to 60 mm. The cooling system of the rolls, combined with four springs placed at the housing screw, prevented adhering of the metallic strip during production at a pressure of approximately 450 N. Cracks were observed on the strip surfaces; however, these defects did not interrupt the continuous flow of the solidified strip during manufacturing. The strip’s poor surface quality could be related to the Pb and Sn contamination as well as cold cracks due to the low pouring temperature. Al-Si eutectics positioned at a grain boundary of α-Al globular structures, as well as the presence of a Sn phase, resulted in a metallic strip with a yield stress, maximum stress and elongation of 94.5 MPa, 100.2 MPa and 1.6%, respectively.

In this article, a modified method called the Elzaki decomposition method has been applied to analyze time-fractional Zakharov–Kuznetsov equations. In this method, the Adomian decomposition technique and Elzaki transformation are combined. Two problems are investigated to show and validate the efficiency of the suggested method. It is also shown that the solutions achieved from the current producer are in good contact with the exact solutions to show with the help of graphs and table. It is observed that the suggested technique is to be reliable, efficient, and straightforward to implement for many related models of engineering and science.

Various methods exist for taking implant impressions. The open-tray or pick-up impression technique is one of the conventional methods for transferring the impression coping from the implant to the impression. In this method, a window directly above the implant is made in a stock or custom tray to allow access to the impression coping. Traditionally, the window is either left open, or closed with melted wax or foil. This technique tip describes a modification to create a stable and secure seal over the opening using rayon-based adhesive tapes. The benefits of this modification over the conventional open-tray technique are due to the enhanced adhesive quality of the materials to metal or plastic. Because there is less chance of impression material leaking from the tray window into the mouth, it is more comfortable for patients and less messy for clinicians. The benefit of this method over the closed-tray technique is the ability to feel for the head of the impression coping at the same time as making sure the impression material is in good contact with the underlying structures. It is easy to use, and efficient in terms of time and cost.

The Covid-19 Pandemic had a significant effect on the way people lived in western Java and how they got an education. This study is qualitative, and the subject of the study is the Tirtyasa community in Serang Regency, in the coastal area of Banten. This study illustrates the non-governmental organizations can influence and facilitate change in society. This research was conducted using a semi-structured interview. This article shows how we can exchange knowledge and experiences during the Covid-19 Outbreak. Company small business preparation can be achieved by good contact with colleagues and the use of appropriate technology.

Abstract In the game of drive, the Eros has the role of psychically binding excitations, so that a tolerable quantity of psychic energy is maintained, avoiding a traumatic spill of libidinal energy. Freud discovers the possibility of impulse entanglement by directing destructiveness outwards through the action of the libido. When the child is insufficiently invested by the environment he develops in, his psychism will develop on a fragile foundation. This frailness can be encapsulated in a rigid protective shell that will not allow for authentic development. We speak of a narcissistic deficit that leads either to an internal dynamic that aims to repair the deficit of primary investment, or to an internal dynamic that perpetuates this deficit. Defense mechanisms specific to narcissistic functioning are idealization and devaluation, and the need for reparation can emerge only after acknowledgement of the narcissistic wound. The sentiment of one’s own worth is disturbed in both situations, the identity nucleus itself being affected. The person would feel shame, sentiments of inferiority, permanently in need of reassurance regarding his/her worth. The capacity to love will be conditioned by the establishment of a good contact with the authentic self, through valuing the self, recognizing one’s own needs and identities.

Composites based on Mg2Ni with 5% activated carbon from apricot stones (ACAP) have been prepared by ball milling and subsequent annealing in hydrogen atmosphere. The purpose of the primary metal (Mg, Ni, and V) milling was to reduce the particle size and achieve a good contact between them, without forming intermetallic compounds. During hydriding/dehydriding at 300 °C the amount of the Mg2Ni phase progressively increased, and after 10 cycles about 50% Mg2(Ni,V) was achieved. The hydrogenation produced mainly Mg2NiH4, but small amounts of MgH2 and VHx were also detected in the powder mixture. Relatively high hydrogen storage capacity and fast hydriding/dehydriding kinetics of the Mg2.1Ni0.7V0.3—5 wt.% ACAP composite were determined both from hydrogen gas phase and electrochemically.

This work deals with the legal problems of custody procedures. In particular, methods of age determination and alternatives to the appointment of guardians for cases in which unaccompanied minor refugees have good contact with their parents abroad are presented. Alternatives discussed include supplementary guardianship and power of attorney for custody. These alternatives must be examined because a suspension of parental custody must be established for a guardianship to be ordered, and this represents a strong encroachment on the parents’ rights.

BACKGROUND The COVID-19 pandemic has caused great damages and it will likely linger for long time. Contact tracing in healthcare settings during the COVID-19 pandemic is of special importance because the population there are the most vulnerable to the pandemic. A good contact tracing technology in healthcare settings should be equipped with six features: promptness, simplicity, high precision, integration, minimized privacy concerns, and social fairness. Existing digital technologies can potentially provide elegant solutions for contact tracing in healthcare settings, of which the indoor real-time location system based on Bluetooth Low Energy and artificial intelligence may be a good candidate. Abstract Aims We investigated the efficacy of linear multi-electrode irreversible electroporation (IRE) ablation in a porcine model. Methods and results The study was performed in six pigs (weight 60–75 kg). After median sternotomy and opening of the pericardium, a pericardial cradle was formed and filled with blood. A linear seven polar 7-Fr electrode catheter with 2.5 mm electrodes and 2.5 mm inter-electrode spacing was placed in good contact with epicardial tissue. A single IRE application was delivered using 50 J at one site and 100 J at two other sites, in random sequence, using a standard monophasic defibrillator connected to all seven electrodes connected in parallel. The pericardium and thorax were closed and after 3 weeks survival animals were euthanized. A total of 82 histological sections from all 18 electroporation lesions were analysed. A total of seven 50 J and fourteen 100 J epicardial IRE applications were performed. Mean peak voltages at 50 and 100 J were 1079.2 V ± 81.1 and 1609.5 V ± 56.8, with a mean peak current of 15.4 A ± 2.3 and 20.2 A ± 1.7, respectively. Median depth of the 50 and 100 J lesions were 3.2 mm [interquartile range (IQR) 3.1–3.6] and 5.5 mm (IQR 4.6–6.6) (P < 0.001), respectively. Median lesion width of the 50 and 100 J lesions was 3.9 mm (IQR 3.7–4.8) and 5.4 mm (IQR 5.0–6.3), respectively (P < 0.001). Longitudinal sections showed continuous lesions for 100 J applications. Conclusion Epicardial multi-electrode linear application of IRE pulses is effective in creating continuous deep lesions.
