The term ‘event marketing’ has been used in a range of different ways and given a range of different meanings. While all of these meanings may be appropriate in various contexts, the term utilized in this chapter refers to that part of the event management process that involves the marketing of events and hence, to the market research, promotion and advertising that aims at increasing the number of customers that pay to attend the event. The American Marketing Association defines marketing as “the set of activities, institutions, and processes for creating, communicating, delivering and exchanging offerings that have value for customers, clients, partners, and society at large” (www.ama.org). In this vein, event marketing includes the activities, tactics and tools used to communicate and promote the value of events to prospective attendees.

Social media has become an integral part of everyday life. Because of this, medical representation has become increasingly popular across social media. Medical professionals have begun to recognize the value of social media in areas such as research promotion, mentorship program expansion and collaboration with peers. To date, these online medical communities are being underused in the field of trauma. Trauma centers may benefit by creating a more prominent online presence to allow for the dissemination of critical research, expansion of injury prevention programs and participation in national annual meetings. When used properly, social media can serve as a platform for the advancement of trauma care in a cost-effective manner.

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the development of research on higher education in Vietnam. A case study research approach was utilized to examine the quality growth of a private Vietnamese university in terms of research for the past six years. The number of international publications and researchers are analyzed in order to evaluate the effectiveness of the university's research-enhancing activities. The results will contribute to improving the quality of training and further contribute to the vision of bringing Vietnamese universities upon the world's educational ranking. Although this research is limited from the perspective of Vietnam, it provides a good illustration of sustainable development of quality in higher educational systems, especially for young universities in developing countries.

ABSTRACT Complications arising from COVID-19 reflect an abnormal immune response in people previously diagnosed with chronic, non-communicable diseases (NCD), such as cardiovascular, metabolic and pulmonary conditions. Physical inactivity is recognized as a condition that affects the development of chronic low-grade inflammation, NCD, and susceptibility to cell infections. Anxiety and mental stress, poor nutritional status, drug use and circadian rhythm disturbances can further aggravate the harm caused by physical inactivity. Therefore, the purpose of the review is to invite health professionals, their respective regulatory boards, universities, research promotion foundations, media, political authorities and lay citizens to raise awareness of immunity and health in the medium- to long-term control of the current pandemic. Level of evidence V; Expert opinion.
