Abstract Recognition of satellite images, composition of them and vectorization is used in AARI for ice charts production. There is discussed methodology and results of the ice charts processing by means of computer programs, which were elaborated by Dr. Tretyakov in Python. The paper demonstrates results of analysis of temporal variance of ice navigation circumstances within the buffer zone of the marine transport system from the Sabetta Port (the Yamal Peninsula, Russia) up to the Bering Strait. There are considered the variance for April and May from 1998 up to 2020. This intra-annual interval is the one with the heaviest ice circumstances for shipping. We used conditional length of various age and age and form gradations of the sea ice for the route as a whole, as an integral parameter for estimation of the navigation hardships of ice navigation. The conditional length of an ice age (thickness) diapason is result of multiplication of the diapason partial concentration at the length of the route leg with homogeneous ice characteristics. There were produced series of the conditional lengths for each ten-day periods during April and May. Then statistical homogeneity of the series was tested by various methods.

The developed technological techniques for the production of flour confectionery products while maintaining moisture at all stages of production are described and theoretically justified. The following tasks were solved in the framework of the study: increasing the specific surface area of the particles of the dispersed phase of the emulsion by modeling the recipe composition; disaggregating flour, increasing the uniformity of the distribution of the dispersion medium (emulsion) with the formation of shells around the maximum possible number of flour particles of various fractions. The object for modeling the formulation composition was sugar cookies. It is established that the replacement of prescription components with high humidity with raw materials with a high content of dry substances allows you to release moisture and use new types of raw materials with increased native properties. The proposed methods of preparation of raw materials: reducing the viscosity of malt extract used to reduce the amount of granulated sugar, osmotic swelling of egg powder, fat plasticization with the stabilization of its structure with lecithin, sucrose inversion under conditions of combining hydrodynamic and acoustic cavitation effects in the production of invert syrup – provide favorable conditions for obtaining an emulsion with an increased specific surface area. The production of an emulsion in two stages is a distinctive feature of the proposed technology: the preparation of a suspension without fat and the actual production of the emulsion. Separate supply of sugar in two steps: 40–60% of its prescription amount is introduced at the stage of preparation of the suspension, the remaining part – during the preparation of the emulsion – and cavitation treatment of the suspension at a temperature of 36–38°С and the waveguide oscillation frequency of 24 kHz, it is possible to increase the partial concentration of sugar particles by 8–12 times. When preparing the emulsion, the plasticized fat and lecithin are pre-mixed with the remaining part of the granulated sugar, and then with the suspension. The aeration-disaggregated flour and emulsion are fed simultaneously and in parallel to the kneading machine to achieve their desired ratio before the dough-forming process begins. The developed complex of technological techniques allowed to create a technological flow for the production of sugar cookies with improved quality indicators – wetting up to 230% (according to the classical technology 180–200%), reduced density by 20%, increased porosity and friability, and preserving up to 92% humidity, which is 18% higher than in products obtained by the classical technology.

Variability of the stages of sea ice development in the Laptev Sea is assessed with 10-days periodicity for the autumn — winter period on a basis of AARI digital ice charts for 1997–2017. Difference in formation of the stages of ice development (ice thickness) was revealed between the drifting and fast ice, which is manifested in an earlier appearance of the first-year ice for the fast ice area and in its partial concentration. On average, the ice cover of the Laptev Sea is by 60 % composed of thick first-year ice, most of which is formed within the fast ice area — 38%, while the area of drifting ice is 1,5 times larger.

The accurate estimation of the fundamental matrix is one of the most important steps in many computer vision applications such as 3D reconstruction, camera self-calibration, motion estimation and stereo matching. In this paper, an optimal fundamental matrix estimation method based on removing exceptional match points is proposed. Firstly, the initial mismatch is reduced by the bidirectional SIFT feature matching algorithm. Secondly, the partial concentration problem of random samples is solved by the bucket segmentation method. In order to obtain robustness, the fundamental matrix is estimated in a RANSAC framework according to the principle of minimizing the geometric distance. Finally, the iterate process improves the accuracy of the fundamental matrix by using the LM algorithm. Experimental results show that the proposed method can reduce the outlier’s interference better and improve the estimation precision of the fundamental matrix.

ABSTRACTThe surface chemistry of Triallylamine (TAA), (C3H5)3N on Si(111) has been studied by adsorption under UHV conditions and in-situ characterization. High Resolution Electron Energy Loss Spectroscopy (HREELS) yields the spectrum of vibration modes at the surface, and X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (XPS) yields the chemical bonding and the partial concentration of the different adsorbates in the near surface region. The tertiary amine TAA physisorbs at RT without dissociation. Successive annealing steps of the physisorbed phase induce the dissociation of the amine at 400 °C. At higher temperatures the allyl groups are partially desorbed and the rest fully dissociated at 600 °C, where the hydrogen leaves the surface and the nitrogen and carbon start to diffuse into the Si substrate. A very similar behaviour is observed for the adsorption of TAA on a heated Si substrate. The coadsorption with Triethylgallium (TEG) in the temperature range 500–800 °C does not induce significant changes in the reaction at the Si surface. A negligible quantity of Ga is detected at the surface after codeposition in the whole investigated temperature range. The growth of a GaN phase has not been observed, neither on Si(111) nor on Al2O3(0001) substrates.

In this study we used conscious sheep to compare the relative potencies of inhaled endothelin- (ET) 1 and ET-3 and to determine whether a newly described selective ET-1 receptor antagonist, [diaminopropionic acid1-Asp15]ET-1 ([Dpr1-Asp15]ET-1), when given as an aerosol blocks ET-1-induced bronchoconstriction. Partial concentration-response curves to ET-1 and ET-3 were obtained by measuring the change in pulmonary airflow resistance (RL) after aerosol challenge. Both ET-1 (n = 6) and ET-3 (n = 4) caused concentration-dependent (10(-10)-10(-7) bronchoconstriction, but ET-3 was 400-fold less potent than ET-1. Pretreatment (30 min) with 25 breaths of 5 x 10(-8) M [Dpr1-Asp15]ET-1 caused a 100-fold rightward shift of the ET-1 concentration-response curve. The activity of the ET-1 antagonist (25 breaths of 5 x 10(-8) M) was compared with that of various control peptides (25 breaths of 10(-8) M). ET-1 (50 breaths of 10(-7) M) caused an increase in RL of 133 +/- 33% (SE) over baseline. [Dpr1-Asp15]ET-1 significantly inhibited this response by 54%. No protection was seen with a monocyclic control peptide or a thrombin receptor peptide. There was, however, a small protective effect (38%, P < 0.05) seen with [Dpr1-Asp15]ET-3, a structurally homologous ET-3 antagonist. [Dpr1-Asp15]ET-1 had no effect on carbachol (n = 3) or leukotriene D4-induced bronchoconstriction. Thus inhaled ET-1 and, to a lesser extent, ET-3 cause concentration-dependent bronchoconstriction in conscious sheep.
