Abstract The paper describes the design and working of a motorsport data acquisition, logging, live telemetry, and display system developed using the Controller Area Network (CAN) communication protocol as the backbone of the arrangement. The main controller of the CAN system is the myRIO which was programmed using LabVIEW. A Formula One car hosts over a hundred sensors during each of its races. The data acquisition/logging system, although does not directly affect the car’s performance, is indispensable when it comes to the testing and design phase of the car. Designers can validate their assumptions and calculations, real-time data during testing can be a safety indicator and it provides insight to the driver about the performance of the vehicle. The FPGA-based controller for CAN is designed for data acquisition and live telemetry system with the interest of the formula car team in mind. The design choices were made to improve and deliver a more effective system than the pre-existing ones. All choices of controllers, sensors, formatting were custom made for the requirements of the team. All programmable devices were coded individually to suit the system and the graphical user interface was designed internally. Data acquired by the proposed system helps in making sure that the car achieves the goals that were envisioned when it was designed.

Abstract We offer a public key exchange protocol based on a semidirect product of two cyclic (semi)groups of matrices over Z p {{\mathbb{Z}}}_{p} . One of the (semi)groups is additive, and the other one is multiplicative. This allows us to take advantage of both operations on matrices to diffuse information. We note that in our protocol, no power of any matrix or of any element of Z p {{\mathbb{Z}}}_{p} is ever exposed, so standard classical attacks on Diffie–Hellman-like protocols are not applicable.

This paper presents results of three-dimensional direct numerical simulations (DNS) and global linear stability analyses of a viscous incompressible flow past a finite-length cylinder with two free flat ends. The cylindrical axis is normal to the streamwise direction. The work focuses on the effects of aspect ratios (in the range of $0.5\leq {\small \text{AR}} \leq 2$ , cylinder length over diameter) and Reynolds numbers ( $Re\leq 1000$ based on cylinder diameter and uniform incoming velocity) on the onset of vortex shedding in this flow. All important flow patterns have been identified and studied, especially as ${\small \text{AR}}$ changes. The appearance of a steady wake pattern when ${\small \text{AR}} \leq 1.75$ has not been discussed earlier in the literature for this flow. Linear stability analyses based on the time-mean flow has been applied to understand the Hopf bifurcation past which vortex shedding happens. The nonlinear DNS results indicate that there are two vortex shedding patterns at different $Re$ , one is transient and the other is nonlinearly saturated. The vortex-shedding frequencies of these two flow patterns correspond to the eigenfrequencies of the two global modes in the stability analysis of the time-mean flow. Wherever possible, we compare the results of our analyses to those of the flows past other short- ${\small \text{AR}}$ bluff bodies in order that our discussions bear more general meanings.

Abstract Let 𝔛 {\mathfrak{X}} be a homogeneous tree and let ℒ {\mathcal{L}} be the Laplace operator on 𝔛 {\mathfrak{X}} . In this paper, we address problems of the following form: Suppose that { f k } k ∈ ℤ {\{f_{k}\}_{k\in\mathbb{Z}}} is a doubly infinite sequence of functions in 𝔛 {\mathfrak{X}} such that for all k ∈ ℤ {k\in\mathbb{Z}} one has ℒ ⁢ f k = A ⁢ f k + 1 {\mathcal{L}f_{k}=Af_{k+1}} and ∥ f k ∥ ≤ M {\lVert f_{k}\rVert\leq M} for some constants A ∈ ℂ {A\in\mathbb{C}} , M > 0 {M>0} and a suitable norm ∥ ⋅ ∥ {\lVert\,\cdot\,\rVert} . From this hypothesis, we try to infer that f 0 {f_{0}} , and hence every f k {f_{k}} , is an eigenfunction of ℒ {\mathcal{L}} . Moreover, we express f 0 {f_{0}} as the Poisson transform of functions defined on the boundary of 𝔛 {\mathfrak{X}} .

Abstrak: Artkel ini membahas konsep kristologi penganut krsiten tauhid. Persoalan doktrin Kristologi, khususnya tentang hubungan antara natur keilahian dan natur keinsanian Yesus Kristus sudah ada sejak abad mula-mula, sehingga gereja merumuskan rumusan Chalcedon pada konsili Chalcedon yang diadakan tahun 451. Tetapi persoalan Kristologi tetap berlanjut meskipun gereja sudah memiliki rumusan Chalcedon tersebut. Salah satu ajaran yang menentang Trinitas dan doktrin keilahian Yesus Kristus adalah unitarianisme, yang muncul pada abad reformasi. Paham unitarianisme merupakan paham yang meyakini bahwa hanya ada satu Allah saja, baik eksistensi maupun persona. Dalam ajaran tentang Kristus, paham ini lebih menekankan kemanusiaan Yesus Kristus dan menolak natur keilahian Yesus Kristus. Dibuktikan pada  bagian Alkitab bahwa Yesus adalah Allah dalam beberapa cara. Karena Kristus benar-benar tokoh yang pernah hadir dalam sejarah dunia ini. Penulisan ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kajian literatur, sehingga diperoleh data tentang latar belakang sejarah dan ajaran penganut Kristen Tauhid, presuposisi penganut Kristen Tauhid, pokok-pokok pemikiran Kristologis penganut Kristen Tauhid, analisis terhadap konsep Kristologi penganut Kristen Tauhid dan implikasinya bagi Theologia Kristen.Abstract: This article discusses the christology concept of monotheistic Christians. The issue of the doctrine of Christology, especially regarding the relationship between the divine nature and the human nature of Jesus Christ, has existed since the early centuries, so the church formulated the Chalcedon formula at the Chalcedon council which was held in 451. But the Christological problem continued even though the church already had the Chalcedon formula. One of the teachings that opposed the Trinity and the doctrine of the divinity of Jesus Christ was unitarianism, which emerged in the Reformation century. Unitarianism is an understanding that believes that there is only one God, both existence and person. In the teachings of Christ, this understanding emphasizes the humanity of Jesus Christ and rejects the divinity of Jesus Christ. This writing uses a descriptive research method with a literature review approach, in order to obtain data on the historical background and teachings of monotheistic Christians, presuppositions of monotheistic Christians, the main points of Christological thoughts of monotheistic Christians, analysis of the concept of Christology of monotheistic Christians and their implications for Christian Theology

The purposes of this study are to find out whether (1) animated video is effective in teaching reading comprehension, (2) students with high reading interest have better reading comprehension achievement than those with low reading interest, and (3) there is an interaction between the teaching media and the students’ reading interest in teaching reading comprehension. This study is experimental research. The population of this study is the students of MTs Negeri Prambanan. Two classes were taken as the sample, and the sampling technique used was cluster random sampling. This study applied tests and a questionnaire in collecting the data and Kolmogorov-Smirnov formula, One Way ANOVA, and multifactor analysis of variance in analyzing the data. Based on the result of data analysis, the research findings are: (1) animated video is effective in teaching reading comprehension of the students in MTs Negeri Prambanan (Fobtain = 7.60, Sig. Value 0,05); (2) the students in MTs Negeri Prambanan with high reading interest have better reading comprehension achievement than those with low reading interest (Fobtain = 9.19, Sig. Value 0,05); (3) there is an interaction between the teaching media and the students’ reading interest in teaching reading comprehension of the students in MTs Negeri Prambanan (Fobtain = 6.15, Sig. Value 0,05). Based on these research findings, it can be concluded that animated video is effective in teaching reading comprehension of the students of MTs Negeri Prambanan. It brings improvement to the students’ reading comprehension achievement.

In 1986, Shi derived the famous formula $(n+1)^{n-1}$ for the number of regions of the Shi arrangement, a hyperplane arrangement in ${R}^n$. There are at least two different bijective explanations of this formula, one by Pak and Stanley, another by Athanasiadis and Linusson. In 1996, Athanasiadis used the finite field method to derive a formula for the number of $k$-dimensional faces of the Shi arrangement for any $k$. Until now, the formula of Athanasiadis did not have a bijective explanation. In this paper, we extend a bijection for regions defined by Bernardi to obtain a bijection between the $k$-dimensional faces of the Shi arrangement for any $k$ and a set of decorated binary trees. Furthermore, we show how these trees can be converted to a simple set of functions of the form $f: [n-1] \to [n+1]$ together with a marked subset of $\text{Im}(f)$. This correspondence gives the first bijective proof of the formula of Athanasiadis. In the process, we also obtain a bijection and counting formula for the faces of the Catalan arrangement. All of our results generalize to both extended arrangements.
