AbstractSimulation-based optimization of geometry parameters is an inherent and important stage of microwave design process. To ensure reliability, the optimization process is normally carried out using full-wave electromagnetic (EM) simulation tools, which entails significant computational overhead. This becomes a serious bottleneck especially if global search is required (e.g., design of miniaturized structures, dimension scaling over broad ranges of operating frequencies, multi-modal problems, etc.). In pursuit of mitigating the high-cost issue, this paper proposes a novel algorithmic approach to rapid EM-driven global optimization of microwave components. Our methodology incorporates a response feature technology and inverse regression metamodels to enable fast identification of the promising parameter space regions, as well as to yield a good quality initial design, which only needs to be tuned using local routines. The presented technique is illustrated using three microstrip circuits optimized under challenging scenarios, and demonstrated to exhibit global search capability while maintaining low computational cost of the optimization process of only about one hundred of EM simulations of the structure at hand on the average. The performance is shown to be superior in terms of efficacy over both local algorithms and nature-inspired global methods.

Globalization is viewed in this work as a critical concept by which we understand the transition of human society into the post-pandemic era. In this vein, this paper attempts to look into the process of globalization and its central feature, technology. Technology has become a global force that affects political, social, ethical, and environmental. The ancient Greeks, such as Plato and Aristotle, who lived in aristocratic societies, rejected discourse on technology as unworthy. Social, political, and theoretical activities, rather than technical, were deemed as the highest forms. Plato, for instance, alluded to the artisans merely as the cheapest form of metal compared to gold associated with the philosopher-rulers, while silver is equivalent to the warrior class. Technological change, defined as "progress," is seen as an inevitable process in modern history. This paper explored issues of globalization and the implications of technology, employing crucial viewpoints of Martin Heidegger, acknowledged as one of the powerful and influential philosophers of the 20th century. Specifically, this paper explored “machination (Machenschaft)” and Heidegger’s Technik (Technology) or Gestell (Enframing). Machination is not just human conduct but the act of manipulation. It is a revelation of beings as a whole as exploitable and manipulable objects. The world seems to be a collection of present-at-hand thing with no intrinsic meaning or purpose, a cold place where we cannot put down any roots. All we can do is calculate and control. We observe and measure everything. We make things go faster and faster. Thus, there is a need to discuss and recognize issues related to technology. Heidegger's thoughts offer analytic tools that contribute to a critical understanding of the multidimensional effects, risks, and possibilities brought about by modernity and its globalization..

The current technology related to athlete gait recognition has shortcomings such as complicated equipment and high cost, and there are also certain problems in recognition accuracy and recognition efficiency. In order to improve the efficiency of athletes’ gait recognition, this paper studies the different recognition technologies of athletes based on machine learning and spectral feature technology and applies computer vision technology to sports. Moreover, according to the calf angular velocity signal, the occurrence of leg movement is detected in real time, and the gait cycle is accurately divided to reduce the influence of the signal unrelated to the behavior on the recognition process. In addition, this study proposes a gait behavior recognition method based on event-driven strategies. This method uses a gyroscope as the main sensor and uses a wearable sensor node to collect the angular velocity signals of the legs and waist. In addition, this study analyzes the performance of the algorithm proposed by this paper through experimental research. The comparison results show that the method proposed by this paper has improved the number of recognition action types and accuracy and has certain advantages from the perspective of computation and scalability.

A novel wise neuro-computing algorithm is introduced and careful thus on vogue and implement a nano-communication network for various applications like medical and industrial signal method. Firstly, the thought of artificial neural network (ANN) for process is explained . Associate in Nursingd utility of modeling a nano-scale network by associate degree optimized neuro computing algorithm is mentioned exploitation binary neuro-modeling. Convergence of technology with biotechnology, information technology, and psychological feature technology (NBIC) as a main trend in science and technology. They to boot provided a listing of twenty visionary ideas for consequent 10–30 years. Consistent with their ideas, at intervals future twenty years, we've an inclination to expect to possess anthropomorphous intelligent robots, smartphones with period language translating operate, and pocket-sized supercomputers through the advance inside the NBIC. To pave the tactic for this, each system ought to be versatile, mobile, self-programmable, real time, and even self-learning. However, as a result of the miniaturization trend continues following Moore’s law, it would be impractical to use these nano electronics to future computing systems because of monumental energy consumption and technological limits. Consequently, the design so the functions of transistors used during this system need to be improved and affected by the human brain. Sadly, it’s unclear but neural activities inside the human brain finish in method like learning and reasoning. All a similar, the convergence of biology with engineering science is expected to bring America nearer to place along neuro inspired chips for neurocomputers utilizing some clues on neural activity and structure, throughout this chapter, we'll show various scientific problems and challenges in realizing neuro-inspired chips

The current manufacturing scenario feature technology which supports the integration of various systems of CAD with CAM then CAM with CAPP or any other computer aided systems. The most important function supported by feature technology the transfer of product and process data. Product model data is the standard for exchange of product information from one CAD system to different systems for seamless integration with CAM. Most of the CAD systems are developing the software’s are using STEP AP-214 product model data. AP-214 is a systematic neutral data format for developing a feature-based process planning. In this paper, collection of STEP AP-214 based product model data as stated by ISO 10303 to identify the features of the product for manufacturing of prismatic part and generating a standard process plan. Further, this process planning is used to generate computer numerical control (NC) codes for CAM system to complete the manufacturing of part.
