Flexible manufacturing shop is examined. Multilevel control system of the shop is built. The demands to the system construction are listed. The existing input information is insufficient for building of the inventory model, for choice and realization of the optimal model of the manufacture. By this reason the situation of the uncertainties is arise. For the purpose to find needed data and to receive necessary knowledge the following intelligence procedures are suggested: ”Pendulum” – for stock foundation and for construction of the inventory model, “Symmetry in the arithmetical progression” – to define the values of the coefficients with unknown quantities in the aim function of the optimal task. With the help of the procedure “Pendulum” the equal corteges of the quantum of time are building. Cortege of the quantum of time is the unit of the stock and the direction for selection of the kind of the optimization model. The optimization model of location is suggested to use. Building of the indicated models (they are small dimension and equal dimension) give the opportunity to organize the parallel calculations.

Based on the analysis of economic and technical indicators of the efficiency of the flexible manufacture system (FMS), the criteria for choosing a cost-effective project of the hydraulic system were determined, taking into account the minimization of automated technical systems, technological equipment and increasing the productivity of the designed enterprise. The ranking method is used to decide the correct choice of the most effective FMS project. An algorithm is proposed to substantiate economic efficiency by minimizing the costs of the selected active elements and increasing the productivity of the investigated production. On the basis of a sequential, parallel and parallel-circular layout diagram of the production modules of the FMS, a study is carried out on their choice and economic justification. To determine specific comparative economic indicators from the point of view of minimizing the number of active elements and their temporal indicators of technological operations, an algorithm for choosing a layout diagram of a FMS production module is proposed. The developed algorithm makes it possible to evaluate the economic efficiency taking into account the number of active elements, their types and types of technological operations. The process of selection of the parallel-circular layout scheme of FMS depending on the number of finished products has been substantiated which ensures high performance of the parallel-circular layout scheme of FMS.

The article presents the analysis of the principles of a higher educational institution effective management and its technopark and provides the solution of organizing corporate governance within the local network of educational departments of Sumgait State University (SSU) and a scientific - research center and the manufacture module. On the basic of the hierarchical structure of SSU and its technopark, an IP-addressing scheme was offered to organize a corporate network between SSU faculties and a scientific research center with automated workplaces of a flexible manufacture module. The number of junctions and the percent values of a corporate network for the departments of faculties, scientific and manufacture parts of technology parks are determined and presented as a table. The number of points of educational and technopark sections of SSU have been calculated. For junctions in the corporate local network of management and training faculties of SSU there were used C-class IP addresses on 192.168.1.0–192.168.1.44. There has been worked out the algorithm for defining the number of junctions of SSU and technopark sections providing effective managing of their corporative network.

In this paper, using the PROLOG language and logical programming methods, development of databases and knowledge bases for manipulating objects like active elements in a simulation representation is considered. The knowledge presented in the form of facts and rules which are the main part of the PROLOG language, simplifies the creation of a knowledge base in logical terms. A source of information selected in accordance with the professional interests of an user and converted into a logical form is the main part for solving its tasks. Logical programming methods allow building knowledge base for manipulating objects. Information objects are built on the basis of a common database and serve as a source of information selected in accordance with the professional interests of the user and converted into a form suitable for solving its tasks. The architecture of structural modeling of each active element that is part of flexible manufacture systems is proposed. The production model is presented in view of facts and rules in the PROLOG language and also the knowledge base on the PROLOG language is implemented to manipulate active elements in the complex, as flexible manufacture systems. As a result, databases and knowledge bases are obtained that ensure the dynamic behavior of an object owing to time. The advantage of structural modeling of the system is that knowledge about the modelling system is defined and the algorithm implemented on the computer finds a solution that matches this goal.

Multi-point forming (MPF) is an advanced flexible manufacture technology, and the technology results from the idea that the whole die is separated into small punches that can be adjusted height. This idea is applied to the traditional rigid blank-holder, so flexible blank-holder (FBH) idea can be obtained. In this work, the performance of a multi-point die is investigated with pins in square matrix and suitable blank holder. Each pin in the punch holder can be a significant moved according to the die high and at different load that applied with spring with respect to spring stiffness. The results shows the reduction in setting time with respect to traditional single point incremental forming process that lead to (90%). and also show during the forming process, the deformation of the interpolator can induce a shape error in the formed work-piece and the blank holder can reduce/eliminate dimples that sometimes arise in the work-piece. The minimum force applied using multi-point die is 28.556KN, while the load when complete the forming process is 30.8KN that caused displacement of die to 32.8mm.

An automatic guided vehicle (AGV) is extensively used for productions in a flexible manufacture system with high efficiency and high flexibility. A servomotor-based AGV is designed and implemented in this paper. In order to steer the AGV to go along a predefined path with corner or arc, the conventional proportional-integral-derivative (PID) control is used in the system. However, it is difficult to tune PID gains at various conditions. As a result, the neural network (NN) control is considered to assist the PID control for gain tuning. The experimental results are first provided to verify the correctness of the neural network plus PID control for 400 W-motor control system. Secondly, the AGV includes two sets of the designed motor systems and CAN BUS transmission so that it can move along the straight line and curve paths shown in the taped videos.

The manufacture of fire robot has characteristics such as different types and piece production, and flexible manufacture and cost control of the fire robot must be considered due to these characteristics. In this paper, the similarity of fire robot’s working environment was analyzed, The demand of chassis’s adaptability and the method using general technical platform were discussed with the thinking of modular design, and new series fire robots which composed of the general platform and different function modules were proposed, and the manufacture cost of traditional design method and modular design method were compared in using the activity-based costing method, and under the new design method the manufacture cost were decreased extremely.
