Introduction. Information literacy for all of the community is a condition that is predicted by the Indonesian government to be realized immediately. This achievement will create an informed society. This situation can be realized if the librarian's soul becomes the soul of the community. Therefore, two things that must be prepared are first, increasing interest in reading in the community, and second, carrying out an information literacy program.Methodology. This paper is library research. Writing analysis uses a qualitative descriptive method by capturing the fact. This study uses relevant literature to relate the research theme in formulating the problems that occur and in making final conclusions.Discussion. Librarians who are referred to as "guardians of knowledge", have an enlightening spirit compared to other professions. There are two guidelines that can make this enlightening soul, the first is code of ethics, and the second is the activities of the librarian's functional position. These two guidelines provide direction for librarians in carrying out sustainable activities to improve information literacy skills for the community. Many programs have been implemented to develop this information literacy program, by various librarians, but today, informed society has not created the programs yet.Conclusion. So far, this information literacy program has not realized the informed society. Information literacy programs that have been developed must not stop and must be implemented. An informed society will be formed if all levels of society reflect the librarian's spirit in life.

We live in a hyper-informed society that is constantly being fed with information stimuli. That information may not be correct, and society may be vulnerable to it. We present a methodological proposal with a mixed approach that allows the learning of the characteristics and weaknesses of news consumers in the face of disinformation. Said methodology moves away from the traditional model, and with it a new, much more complete and complex way of conducting discussion groups is carried out. The qualitative approach is carried out through the creation of an online community in which subjects are encouraged to participate in different activities and tests. On the other hand, in order to obtain quantitative data, a quasi-experimental survey where respondents are exposed to various stimuli created ad hoc, which seeks to measure the interest and credibility of different news items through an orthogonal design, is carried out. The use of this methodology will allow for an expansive and intensive approach to the knowledge of societal vulnerability factors, and with the subsequent results, a solid basis of disinformation can be established, which will allow for the development of a series of strategies to combat disinformation.

Bearing in mind that the prospect of the future is always a sensitive dimension to be addressed, this paper, based on bibliographic collection and analysis, as well as on the authors’ academic experience, aims to add to the (re)thinking of some of the future challenges Sociology will face, in a sociologically informed society. It is concluded that sustainability and the digital are two of the crucial challenges for Sociology given the influence they exert, both in society and in the very way of doing sociology. Furthermore, to be successfully faced, there is the need for a concomitant articulation of a Sociology that amplifies its heuristic capacity to apprehend and respond to these challenges and the practice of fruitful interdisciplinarity, in which the different sciences accept and mobilize the contributions of other sciences. The existence of first-rate sciences compared to second-rate sciences has never been, is not and will never be the solution to (co)address these challenges.

The article states that the vital need for information, the formation of the factors that contribute to its satisfaction, play a leading role at every stage of human development. Currently, interest of the international community in the development strategy of Uzbekistan and reform strategy is growing. A few years ago, those who did not properly understand the essence and significance of this development path are now studying it with great care and analyzing the wide-ranging reforms undertaken in the country over the last two or three years. From this point of view it is worth noting the importance of the article. Over the past years in the country, a lot of measures have been taken to liberalize the information sector and to ensure freedom of speech. The legal basis for the activities of mass media has been consistently and systematically improved. At the same time, the experience of foreign legislation and prospects of development of information and communication technologies were considered. As a result of strong legal framework that meets democratic requirements and socio-economic reforms in the country, the media has grown. As a result of the introduction of modern technologies in the field, new media systems such as digital, mobile and Internet TV have been introduced into the system, Internet journalism has been formed. In our country, the number and scope of non-governmental media has increased, and institutions have been set up to support them. In order to introduce modern technologies in the information sector, the work is underway to establish a 5G system. The article also addresses existing shortcomings in the field, to solve them, adopting the concept of a unified state policy in the field of information, involving citizens and the general public in government and public administration, ensuring frankness and transparency of government agencies, increasing their accountability to the public and thereby the need for further improvement of the mechanism of effective communication with the state authorities.

Purpose This paper aims to analyze the context of community opinions and participation in the natural gas sector in developing countries, a case study of Tanzania. To achieve this purpose, the study pointed out six facts, namely, information on the natural gas sector; awareness of the natural gas-related policies; laws and regulations and the creation of employment opportunities; local experts in the natural gas sector; the use of natural gas revenues; and natural gas for poverty reduction and improvement of social well-being. Design/methodology/approach The study is a systematic review of the literature on community participation based on the relevant studies published between 2010 and 2018. A comprehensive literature review was carried out following the seven-step model whereby relevant themes from different potential bibliographic databases such as Google Scholar were systematically selected, compiled and analyzed using descriptive methods. Findings The study revealed that despite the various efforts made by the governments and other stakeholders to promote community participation, there is an inadequate level of community participation in the natural gas sector in developing countries. There are limited local experts for natural gas operations and low transparency on natural gas contracts, agreements and revenues. Therefore, there is the need to raise awareness for a highly informed society with a clear sense of ownership of the natural gas wealth among the local communities. Moreover, transparency and accountability are recommended for the sustainable natural gas sector development. Originality/value This paper offers new and current cross-sectoral inclusion, opinions, hopes and concerns of the community on the natural gas sector management in developing countries.
