The present study was conducted to study heavy metal pollution in ground water of southern part of Upper Berach river. The water samples for the heavy metal analysis were collected from the open well of the 38 locations from Upper Berach river to find out concentration of different heavy metal such as Iron (Fe), Manganese (Mn), Copper (Cu), Zinc (Zn), Cadmium (Cd), Lead (Pb) and Nickel (Ni). The different heavy metals thematic maps of study area were prepared under GIS environment and the spatio-temporal variations of these parameters were analyzed. Results of the study indicates that about 57.94 per cent area shows Fe within BIS acceptable limit (< 0.3 mg/lit) and 42.06 per cent area show exceed Fe above acceptable limit of drinking purpose. About 42.03 per cent area shows Mn within BIS acceptable limit (< 0.1 mg/lit) and 57.97 per cent area shows Mn above permissible limit of drinking purpose.

As we all know that water is the most precious compound found in nature. It covers about 71% of the earth surface. About 97.3% of water is contained in the great oceans that are saline and 2.14% is held in icecaps glaciers and in the poles, which are not useful. The remaining 0.56% are found on earth which are useful for general purpose. Out of which Groundwater is one of the purest form of water available on this earth. It has been estimated that approximately one third of the world’s population use groundwater for drinking. This project is done in knowledge to get the analysis of various physico- chemical parameters such as pH, Turbidity, TDS, Total Alkalinity, Total Hardness, Chloride and Dissolved Oxygen of Gorakhpur city in view to ensure the groundwater to be fit for drinking purpose or not . About 20 samples were collected from India Mark-II Hand Pumps and Shallow Hand Pumps of various locations of Gorakhpur city and tested. After the analysis of various physico - chemical parameters of the samples collected , the groundwater found to be within permissible according to BIS 10500 – 2012.

Analyzing of water quality at Ooty town and to provide clean and safe water. The water quality is analyzed and tabulated in this paper. So we are able to know the quality of water available in the sample taken. The water analyzed about the chemical, physical and biological characteristics of water. It is used to measure the appearance of sample water for the need of living. Water samples are collected from the open well (Latitude and longitude coordinates are 11.410000, 76.699997). The samples were tested for parameters like pH, turbidity, total hardness, fluoride, dissolved oxygen, ammonia nitrogen, chemical oxygen demand, acidity, and alkalinity. The values which are obtained from each parameter were compared with the Indian Standards: 10500 (Drinking water specifications). During the summer season the water demand is very high hence from the result the water was found to be safe for drinking.

Elevated water tanks are essential Civil Engineering framework which are known as compulsory community services urban areas. A number of elevated water tanks suffered collapse and damage to their staging in deep earthquakes, consequently their safety performance is a crucial concern throughout effective earthquake. Because of storage of clean water, it is utilized for important needs such as drinking purpose and for other domestic purpose. Within the existing work, four support patterns viz. easy brace, cross brace, rectangular brace as well as radial brace connected with various staging heights (fifteen m, twenty m, and twenty-five m) are analysed for seismic zone II, III and IV for empty tank and loaded tank. Probably the most affordable as well as secure, Intze style tank of thousand kilolitre capacity considered. When it comes to the evaluation of Intze container, 72 designs are constructed with STAAD.ProV8i Software, by which 36 models are analysed for empty tank and additional 36 models are analysed for loaded tank. Each and every seismic zone has 12 models as well as every brace has three distinct staging rises. For the safety, stability and serviceability, different parameters are obtained for different brace pattern

The atmosphere of the COVID 19 pandemic changed the pattern of community service. In this case the Door to Door method is the best choice. The area of training is Way Huwi Village because of high economic growth. The principle of this method is that the speakers come to people's houses with the aim of disseminating the results of their research. The case study conducted in order to identify groundwater well specifically for drinking purposes. This method will be better applied if previous research has been done. The results of the training show that the community can only distinguish water quality based on physicality alone. We need train the community so they can understand the principles of water for drinking purpose. The community response was very good with the many questions asked. This might be different if done in a room with many participants
