The approach developed in this paper applies to vibration analysis of rectangular stiffened plate coupled with fluid. It is obvious that the natural frequencies of a submerged structure are less than those of in vacuum and these are due to the effect of added mass of water to the structure. This paper focuses on the experimental, analytical and numerical solution of natural frequencies of submerged stiffened plate. The analytical solution based on the deflection equation of submerged orthotropic plate, Laplace’s equation and Rayleigh's method in vibration analysis. By used the FEM software the numerical results for natural frequencies are derived. The natural frequencies of the stiffened plate are obtained practically by using Fast Fourier Transformation functions (FFT) in experimental analysis. Experimental results demonstrate the validity of analytical and numerical solution and results.

Ontology matching is the task of generating a set of correspondences (i.e., an alignment) between the entities of different ontologies. While most efforts on alignment evaluation have been dedicated to the evaluation of simple alignments (i.e., those linking one single entity of a source ontology to one single entity of a target ontology), the emergence of matchers providing complex alignments (i.e., those composed of correspondences involving logical constructors or transformation functions) requires new strategies for addressing the problem of automatically evaluating complex alignments. This paper proposes (i) a benchmark for complex alignment evaluation composed of an automatic evaluation system that relies on queries and instances, and (ii) a dataset about conference organisation. This dataset is composed of populated ontologies and a set of competency questions for alignment as SPARQL queries. State-of-the-art alignments are evaluated and a discussion on the difficulties of the evaluation task is provided.

The article presents the theoretical foundations for constructing invariant and quasi-invariant relative to the disturbing influences of measuring systems. A historical reference which shows the emergence, evolution and spread of methods of the theory of invariance from automatic control and regulation systems to information and measuring systems and measurements in general is given. The possibilities of new applications of the formulated by academician B.N. Petrov of the two-channel principle are shown. On its basis, methodological signs of the physical feasibility of structural and technological methods are formulated. Theoretical foundations and the method of linearization of principally nonlinear transformation functions of parametric measuring transducers, which are also based on the principle of two-channel, are given. All theoretical positions are supported by practical examples that extend the capabilities of the considered methods to the entire class of parametric measuring transducers as part of non-equilibrium measuring bridges and voltage dividers.

Program obfuscation is a widely used cryptographic software intellectual property (IP) protection technique against reverse engineering attacks in embedded systems. However, very few works have studied the impact of combining various obfuscation techniques on the obscurity (difficulty of reverse engineering) and performance (execution time) of obfuscated programs. In this article, we propose a Genetic Algorithm (GA)-based framework that not only optimizes obscurity and performance of obfuscated cryptographic programs, but it also ensures very low timing side-channel leakage. Our proposed T iming S ide C hannel S ensitive P rogram O bfuscation O ptimization F ramework (TSC-SPOOF) determines the combination of obfuscation transformation functions that produce optimized obfuscated programs with preferred optimization parameters. In particular, TSC-SPOOF employs normalized compression distance (NCD) and channel capacity to measure obscurity and timing side-channel leakage, respectively. We also use RISC-V rocket core running on a Xilinx Zynq FPGA device as part of our framework to obtain realistic results. The experimental results clearly show that our proposed solution leads to cryptographic programs with lower execution time, higher obscurity, and lower timing side-channel leakage than unguided obfuscation.

Human immunogenetic variation in the form of HLA and KIR types has been shown to be strongly associated with a multitude of immune-related phenotypes. We present MiDAS, an R package enabling statistical association analysis and using immunogenetic data transformation functions for HLA amino acid fine mapping, analysis of HLA evolutionary divergence as well as HLA-KIR interactions. MiDAS closes the gap between inference of immunogenetic variation and its efficient utilization to make meaningful discoveries.

The objective of this study is to examine the performance of Islamic banks (IBs) in Malaysia based on zakat (ZOA and ZOE) and ROA and ROE. This is to effectively understand the factors influencing the performance of IBs in Malaysia. The study employs a balanced panel of 15 IBs for the period 2009-2018 using the System-GMM. The study provides justifications why zakat is the appropriate measurement for IBs' performance. The study concludes that zakat is an appropriate performance measurement to explain the performance of IBs. This is because zakat is able to explain and truly reflects the performance of IBs, and as such, IBs should pay more zakat as they generate more profit. Zakat therefore has a role to contribute to Islamic social finance in the context of IBs. Furthermore, IBs have indispensable roles in supporting the economy of a country through their liquidity creation and risk transformation functions.

The problem of calibration of an analytical instrument and analysis procedure with an unknown composition and origin of the analyzed sample are considered. The transformation functions of the Zeeman atomic absorption spectrometer with electrothermal atomization have been investigated. The method for establishing a two-parameter transformation function of the spectrometer using a single calibration sample is proposed and the possibility of measuring the analyte concentration in a real sample using the refined transformation function of the spectrometer is considered.

The feature selection is an important step in constructing any classifier. Binary versions of metaheuristic optimization algorithms are often used for selection. However, many metaheuristics are originally created to work in the continuous search space, so they need to be specially adapted to the binary space. In this paper, the authors propose fifteen ways to binarize the Shuffled frog leaping algorithm based on the following methods: modified algebraic operations, merge operation, and transformation functions. The efficiency of the binary algorithm was tested in the problem of feature selection for fuzzy classifiers on data sets from the KEEL repository. The results show that all the described methods of binarization allow reducing the features, while increasing the overall accuracy of classification.

The paper compares the effectiveness of modifications of the shuffled frog leaping algorithm that allow metaheuristics to function in the binary search space. Methods based on modified algebraic operations, transformation functions and fusion operations, as well as their combinations, have been tested for the task of selecting features in the fuzzy classifier. The SVC2004 data set containing a large number of features for user authentication based on dynamic handwritten signature characteristics was used in the experiment.
