The present paper deals with an inventory management system with ramp type and quadratic demand rates. A constant deterioration rate is considered into the model. In the two types models, the optimum time and total cost are derived when demand is ramp type and quadratic. A structural comparative study is demonstrated here by illustrating the model with sensitivity analysis.

The article reveals the issues of athleticism as a means of physical education of student youth. The definitions of the concept of "athleticism" are analyzed. It was revealed that it is athleticism that is the most popular sport among college students. The article reveals the influence of athleticism on the level of physical fitness of students of higher educational institutions in the process of physical education classes. The analysis of literary sources showed a tendency towards a constant deterioration in the health of young people, a decrease in motivation for physical education classes. Therefore, the question arises about the need to improve the means of physical education, taking into account gender and age, individual characteristics, needs, motives and interests of students. Currently, there is an increase in interest in classes with strictly regulated exercises aimed at developing the figure and improving the functionality of the body. Athletics, as a direction of strength training, is currently especially popular among student youth. The main focus of these works is the desire of the authors to develop a method of training with weights, aimed at developing strength and strengthening the muscles involved, increasing their overall strength training. Theoretical analysis and generalization of literary sources, the results of their own pedagogical experience confirm the fact that the most acute problem facing higher education is a serious deterioration in the health of student youth. It is known that rational motor activity is a powerful factor that increases the adaptive capacity of the body.

In this paper propose an EOQ mathematical model for deteriorating items. The model is developed with a demand function that decreases exponentially, a constant deterioration rate, a shortage is permitted, and a return occurs. The purpose of this model is to determine the minimum total cost by determining the optimal return time and the optimal number of orders. A numerical example is given to describe the working model. Tujuan dari model ini adalah untuk menentukan biaya total minimum dengan menentukan waktu pengembalian optimal dan jumlah pesanan optimal. Contoh numerik diberikan untuk menggambarkan model bekerja. Our model deals with the stock-dependent demand as exhibiting huge volume of commodities leads to more costumers and augment the trading of the goods. As some goods like vegetables, fruits, medicines deteriorate after a period of time, resulting in economical and financial losses, we took this factor into consideration and included a constant deterioration rate, controlled by suitable preservation technologies. Preservation technology investments are made for the valuable business as it helps to decrease the rate of deterioration. Our model allows shortages, and back-ordering is permissible to manage the loss that occurs due to perishable objects and shortages. The objectives are to find the optimal cycle time, preservation technology cost, and positive inventory time. The paper also proves the convexity of total cost through graphs with respect to decision variables. A sensitivity analysis of decision variables with respect to different inventory parameters is carried out.

In the conditions of constant deterioration of the environment, municipal solid waste management (MSW) in Ukraine remains one of the most pressing challenges in environmental safety because of its significant accumulation in landfills and the lack of effective mechanisms for its disposal. Approximately 40- 50% of municipal solid waste is organic, so the removal of this part of waste from landfills through composting and conversion of waste into secondary material resources will significantly reduce the environmental load on existing and potentially planned landfills. Therefore, the choice of promising technologies for the disposal of organic waste is one of the major tasks to ensure environmental safety. One of the effective strategies for dealing with excessive amounts of organic waste and one of the best and most affordable technologies for the waste recycling system is composting.
