Abstract The article shows that a large flat platform with a constant current, which flows over its surface, accelerates time. It is also shown that if an alternating current flows along the surface of a flat platform while creating a null electromagnetic field then a force repelling from the platform acts on the test particle located near it. This force has no gravitational nature and arises as a result of the curvature of space-time by the electromagnetic field of a flat platform with an alternating current.

Abstract We propose a way to observe the photon ring of the asymptotically anti-de Sitter black hole dual to a superconductor on the two-dimensional sphere. We consider the electric current of the superconductor under the localized time-periodic external electromagnetic field. On the gravity side, the bulk Maxwell field is sent from the AdS boundary and then diffracted by the black hole. We construct the image of the black hole from the asymptotic data of the bulk Maxwell field that corresponds to the electric current on the field theory side. We decompose the electric current into the dissipative and non-dissipative parts and take the dissipative part for the imaging of the black hole. We investigate the effect of the charged scalar condensate on the image. We obtain the bulk images that indicate the discontinuous change of the size of the photon ring.

Abstract We present a five-dimensional fully anisotropic holographic model supported by Einstein-dilaton-three-Maxwell action. One of the Maxwell fields provides chemical potential; finite chemical potential values are considered. The second Maxwell field serves for anisotropy, representing real spacial anisotropy of the QGP produced in heavy-ion collisions. The third Maxwell field is related to an external magnetic field. Influence of the external magnetic field on the 5-dim black hole solution and the confinement/deconfinement phase diagram, reconstructing the phase transition curves for heavy quarks, is considered. The effect of the inverse magnetic catalyses is revealed and positions of critical end points are found.

In this paper, we provide a new parametric class of solutions to Einstein–Maxwell field equations to study the relativistic structure of a compact star via embedding class I condition. The interior of the star is delineated by Karmarkar condition and at the boundary of the star, we match the class of solutions with Bardeen and Reissner–Nordstrom exterior spacetimes. We assume one of the metric potentials as [Formula: see text] to obtain other metric potential. Subsequently, we solve Maxwell field equations. We verify and compare all the thermodynamic properties like matter density, anisotropy, radial and tangential pressures, compactification factor, energy conditions, and stability conditions, namely, adiabatic index, balancing forces via modified TOV equations, Harrision–Zeldovich criteria, casualty condition, Herrera cracking condition, etc., of our class of charged solutions. All the physical and stability conditions are with the viable trend throughout the interior of the stellar object. For a suitable range of values of [Formula: see text] and parameters, it is depicted from this study that the present class of charged solutions yields effective results to obtain realistic and viable modeling of the neutron star in EXO 1785-248 in both the Bardeen and Reissner–Nordstrom exterior spacetimes.
