Abstract AMT ability is one of the skills that is a priority to be developed in learning mathematics in universities. This research aims to test the effect of hybrid learning and enjoyment learning in improving Advance Mathematical Thinking of prospective teacher students moderated by learning style. This research is a quantitative research that aims to examine the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable. The sample in this study is conducted by purposive sampling based on certain criteria. The research data is obtained by distributing questionnaires to the mathematics education program student at University X in Bandung City. The data collected is analyzed by path analysis assisted by Smart PLS application. Smart PLS analysis in this study is carried out in 2 stages which are the analysis of the outer model and the inner model. Analysis of the inner model is aimed at (1) testing the validity and reliability of the instrument and (2) performing the r-square test to determine the percentage of influence. The test results show that learning enjoyment and hybrid learning have a significant positive effect on advanced mathematics learning. The learning styles in this study have not been able to moderate the relationship between hybrid learning and enjoy learning on Advance Mathematical Thinking. Hybrid learning can be used as an alternative or learning solution in improving advanced mathematical learning.

Abstract Rough set is a very powerful invention to the whole world for dealing with uncertain, incomplete and imprecise problems. Also soft set theory and neutrosophic set theory both are advance mathematical tools to handle these uncertain, incomplete, inconsistent information in a better way. The purpose of this article is to expand the scope of rough set, soft set and neutrosophic set theory. We have introduced the concept of neutrosophic soft set with roughness without using full soft set. Some definition, properties and examples have been established on neutrosophic soft rough set. Moreover, dispensable and equalities are written on roughness with neutrosophic soft set.

The phenomenon of eclipses has been of tremendous interest to mankind. The solar eclipse, which will take place on 21st August, 2017 has kindled the curiosity towards this celestial occurrence once again. In modern times all the observations are gathered through highly sensitive telescopes. For calculations the most advance mathematical software’s and programs are used. It is of interest then, that in Ancient India, what the formulae which were used were and how were the calculations and predictions done by observing the positions of planets through naked eye and in the absence of the modern day equipments. This paper is a modest attempt to give a comparative study of the method given by Aryabhatta for calculations of Stars, Solar Eclipses and the methods used now.

This paper considers the problem of installing offshore pipelines by means of pipelay vessels from a control perspective. Specifically, the paper is divided into two main parts, where the first part gives a thorough introduction to the fundamentals of pipelay operations and the challenges and possibilities associated with such operations. The second part then suggests how pipelay operations can be further automated by augmenting the manually-operated dynamic positioning (DP) systems of today with sophisticated guidance functionality that may improve operational precision and safety by relying on advance mathematical models.

Nowadays exists different perspectives for the algebra school initiation, between them the historical perspective, problem solving, the functional, modeling and generalization (as numeric and geometric patterns, and the laws that govern the numeric relationships) stands out. This document attempt to explain sorne reflections around this last perspective, the generalization, concerning to their validation processes. These ideas become an investigation advance: "Mathematical generalization and validation Tools", carried out and financed by the ASDEM Educational and Pedagogical Researching Center; this reflections become a useful element in the moment to crea te activities to introduce the algebra in mathematics's subject.

FIRST of all I should like to say that I am not responsible for the subject of this paper. Some member of the Association proposed that a discussion should be held on this subject and the Committee that arranges the programme for this meeting asked me to read a paper. This Association was founded a little over sixty years ago, mainly by schoolmasters, and its main object was to advance mathematical knowledge by improving the teaching of mathematics in schools, so that I am only too glad to welcome any discussion on actual school work, and I hope that what I have to say may provoke a discussion to which many of you will contribute. After promising to read the paper I sat down to consider what ground it should cover. It seems to me that the subject covers nearly the whole ground of geometry teaching up to the School Certificate stage, so the subject is wide. It will not be uninteresting to look at the past for a few minutes. I started teaching in the last century, and there was much teaching at that time that had made little advance since the date of the foundation of the A.I.G.T. But for a moment I will go back still earlier and tell you two stories of the middle of the last century
