Aiming at the flight safety problems existing in UAV power patrol inspection, this study proposes a UAV patrol inspection safety management system (SMS) scheme, which takes the safety target level specified in soar as the target management, based on safety management, modern control theory, risk management, and UAV operation regulations, combined with the actual needs of machine patrol inspection of China Southern Power Grid and the requirements of local government. The UAV SMS scheme is developed from four parts: safety policy, risk management, safety guarantee, and safety promotion, and the application analysis is carried out in combination with the Kobe accident case in 2020. The experimental results demonstrate that the implementation of SMS scheme can effectively reduce the accident risk level during UAV power patrol inspection.

Abstract The recent intensification of floods and droughts in the Fraser River Basin of British Columbia has had profound cultural, ecological, and economic impacts that are expected to be exacerbated further by anthropogenic climate change. In part due to short instrumental runoff records, the long-term stationarity of hydroclimatic extremes in this major North American watershed remains poorly understood, highlighting the need to use high-resolution paleoenvironmental proxies to inform on past streamflow. Here we use a network of tree-ring proxy records to develop 11 subbasin-scale, complementary flood- and drought-season reconstructions, the first of their kind. The reconstructions explicitly target management-relevant flood and drought seasons within each basin, and are examined in tandem to provide an expanded assessment of extreme events across the Fraser River Basin with immediate implications for water management. We find that past high flood-season flows have been of greater magnitude and occurred in more consecutive years than during the observational record alone. Early 20th century low flows in the drought season were especially severe in both duration and magnitude in some subbasins relative to recent dry periods. Our Fraser subbasin-scale reconstructions provide long-term benchmarks for the natural flood and drought variability prior to anthropogenic forcing. These reconstructions demonstrate that the instrumental streamflow records upon which current management is based likely underestimate the full natural magnitude, duration, and frequency of extreme seasonal flows in the Fraser River Basin, as well as the potential severity of future anthropogenically forced events.

Blockholder monitoring is central to corporate governance, but blockholders large enough to exercise significant unilateral influence are rare. Mechanisms that enable moderately sized blockholders to exert collective influence are therefore important. Existing theory suggests that engagement by moderately sized blockholders is unlikely, especially when the blocks are held by delegated asset managers who have limited skin in the game. We present a model in which multiple delegated blockholders engage target management in parallel, that is, “wolf pack activism.” Delegation reduces skin in the game, which decreases incentives for engagement. However, it also induces competition over investor capital (i.e., competition for flow). We show that this increases engagement incentives and helps ameliorate the problem of insufficient engagement, although it can also foster excess engagement. Under competition for flow, the total amount of capital seeking skilled activist managers is relevant to engagement incentives, which helps to predict when and where wolf packs arise. Flow incentives are particularly valuable in incentivizing engagement by packs with smaller members. This paper was accepted by Gustavo Manso, finance.

Abstract Background There is an unmet need from paediatric rheumatologists and rheumatologists, managing children with JIA, for a well formulated guidelines aiming at achieving better outcomes of their patients. To establish adequate and easily adopted guidelines in management of different variants of JIA in a relatively low resources country. Method This study was carried out to achieve an Egyptian expert consensus on a treat-to-target management strategy for Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis using Delphi technique. The preliminary scientific committee identified a total of 17 key clinical questions according to the Patient/Population, Intervention, Comparison, and Outcomes (PICO) approach. An evidence-based, systematic, literature review was conducted to compile evidence for the benefits and harms associated with JIA treatments. The core leadership team identified researchers and clinicians with expertise in JIA management in Egypt upon which Experts were gathered from different governorates and health centres across Egypt. Delphi process was implemented (2-rounds) to reacha consensus on the management recommendations of Egyptian JIA patients. Results: An online questionnaire were sent to expert panel (n = 27), of whom 26 participated in the two rounds. At the end of round 2, a total of eighteen (18) recommendation items, categorized into 4 sections to address the main 4 JIA categories, were obtained. Agreement with the recommendations (rank 7–9) ranged from 83.2–100% (average 86.8%). Consensus was reached (i.e. ≥75% of respondents strongly agreed or agreed) on the wording of all the 18 clinical standards identified by the scientific committee. Algorithms for the management of JIA polyarthritis, oligoarthritis and systemic JIA have been suggested. Conclusion A wide and representative panel of experts established a consensus regarding the management of JIA in Egypt. The developed guidelines provide a comprehensive approach to the management of JIA for ll Egyptian healthcare professionals who are involved in its management for follow up and frequent evaluation of these guidelines.

Abstract Background IgAvasculitis (IgAV) is the commonest cause of vasculitis in childhood. It is characterized by small vessel vasculitis of the skin, gastrointestinal tract, kidneys, joints, and, rarely, the lungs and the central nervous system. There is paucity of international guidelines for management of IgA V. the Objective is to develop guidelines specific for Egyptian children with IgA vasculitis. At the end of round 2, a total of 20 recommendation items, categorized into 2 sections were obtained. Agreement with the recommendations (rank 7–9) ranged from 91.7–100%. Consensus was reached (i.e. ≥75% of respondents strongly agreed or agreed) on the wording of all the 20 clinical standards identified by the scientific committee. Algorithms for the management have been suggested. Conclusion This was an expert, consensus recommendations for the diagnosis and treatment of IgA V and IgA V nephritis, based on best available evidence and expert opinion.

Cyclotron-based radionuclides production by using solid targets has become important in the last years due to the growing demand of radiometals, e.g., 68Ga, 89Zr, 43/47Sc, and 52/54Mn. This shifted the focus on solid target management, where the first fundamental step of the radiochemical processing is the target dissolution. Currently, this step is generally performed with commercial or home-made modules separated from the following purification/radiolabelling modules. The aim of this work is the realization of a flexible solid target dissolution system to be easily installed on commercial cassette-based synthesis modules. This would offer a complete target processing and radiopharmaceutical synthesis performable in a single module continuously. The presented solid target dissolution system concept relies on an open-bottomed vial positioned upon a target coin. In particular, the idea is to use the movement mechanism of a syringe pump to position the vial up and down on the target, and to exploit the heater/cooler reactor of the module as a target holder. All the steps can be remotely controlled and are incorporated in the cassette manifold together with the purification and radiolabelling steps. The performance of the device was tested by processing three different irradiated targets under different dissolution conditions.
