In order to obtain the accurate mechanical parameters of deep-buried coal goaf rock mass, the limitation of geological strength index (GSI) in concealed rock mass is analyzed. Based on the test result and analysis of the current normative standards, the classification indexes of rock mass structural are optimized based on discontinuity distance d and rock mass integrity index K v . The ratio of rock mass saturated strength to dry strength, η, is introduced, quantization formula of structural surface conditions is proposed, and the influence of groundwater and rock types is included in structural surface condition classification. The GSI system is improved to better suit all types of deep-buried and water-rich rock masses. Furthermore, the rock mass disturbance factor D’s quantitative formula is listed according to the Hoek–Brown (HB) criterion. Taking the goaf roof under railway as an example, the parameters of deep-buried rock mass are obtained based on the improved quantitative GSI system and HB criterion. This research provides a scientific reference for achieving geological parameters and engineering designing in goaf areas.

We introduce a general mechanism for superconductivity in Fermi systems with strong repulsive interaction. Because kinetic terms are small compared to the bare repulsion, the dynamics of charge carriers is constrained by the presence of other nearby carriers. By treating kinetic terms as a perturbation around the atomic limit, we show that pairing can be induced by correlated multiparticle tunneling processes that favor two itinerant carriers to be close together. Our analytically controlled theory provides a quantitative formula relating Tc to microscopic parameters, with maximum Tc reaching about 10% of the Fermi temperature. Our work demonstrates a powerful method for studying strong coupling superconductivity with unconventional pairing symmetry. It also offers a realistic new route to realizing finite angular momentum superfluidity of spin-polarized fermions in optical lattice.

Automated program repair is an effective way to ensure software quality and improve software development efficiency. At present, there are many methods and tools of automated program reapir in real world, but most of them have low repair accuracy, resulting in a large number of incorrect patches in the generated patches. To solve this problem, we propose a patch quality evaluation method based on semantic distance, which measures the semantic distance of patches by using features of interval distance, output coverage, and path matching. For each evaluation feature, we give a quantitative formula to obtain a specific distance value and use the distance to calculate the recommended patch value to measure the quality of the patch. Our quality evaluation method evaluated 279 patches from previous program repair tools, including Nopol, DynaMoth, ACS, jGenProg, and CapGen. This quality evaluation method successfully arranged the correct patches before the plausible but incorrect patches, and it recommended the higher-ranked patches to users first. On this basis, we compared our evaluation method with the existing evaluation methods and judged the evaluation ability of each feature. We showed that our proposed patch quality evaluation method can improve the repair accuracy of repair tools.

We have developed a new and robust method (in the sense of it being applicable to a wide range of situations) to estimate the regularization parameter [Formula: see text] in a regularized inverse problem. For each tentative value of [Formula: see text], we perturb the observations with [Formula: see text] sequences of pseudorandom noise and we track down the instability effect on the solutions. Then, we define a quantitative measure [Formula: see text] of the solution instability consisting of the largest value among the Chebyshev norms of the vectors obtained by the differences between all pairs of the perturbed solutions. Despite being quantitative, [Formula: see text] cannot be used directly to estimate the best value of [Formula: see text] (the smallest value that stabilizes the solution) because, in practice, instability may depend on the particular and specific interests of the interpreter. Then, we determine that the interpreter, at each iteration of a bisection method, visually compares, in the ([Formula: see text], [Formula: see text], [Formula: see text]) space, the pair [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] of the solutions most distant from each other and associated with the current [Formula: see text]. From this comparison, the interpreter decides if the current [Formula: see text] produces stable solutions. Because the bisection method can be applied only to monotonic functions (or segments of monotonic functions) and because [Formula: see text] has a theoretical monotonic behavior that can be corrupted, in practice by a poor experiment design, the set of values of [Formula: see text] can be used as a quality control of the experiments in the proposed bisection method to estimate the best value of [Formula: see text]. Because the premises necessary to apply the proposed method are very weak, the method is robust in the sense of having broad applicability. We have determined part of this potential by applying the proposed method to gravity, seismic, and magnetotelluric synthetic data, using two different interpretation models and different types of pseudorandom noise.

According to the results of potentiometric titration of aluminum salt solutions under the moderate slow rate of injecting base and the three critical feature points on its titration curves, at the same time, using the self-contained Boltzmann's equation of Origin software fitting the curve, the quantitative formula of poly-aluminum content have been given. This formula can calculate conveniently the polynuclear aluminum content in the forced hydrolysis-polymerization process. The value of pattern calculation coincides with that of the Al-ferron timed spectrophotometry assay, which offers a kind of new method for studying the course and the quantitative determination of Al (III) salt solutions in simple water systems.

We point out that the spectral width of a quasimonochromatic light beam broadens when the beam is focused. A quantitative formula for this broadening is derived from classical wave theory. The effect is shown to explain some experiments on laser beams done by Panarella which he explained using the ad hoc hypothesis that the frequency of the photons changes along with the intensity of the light beam. The line broadening by focusing might also contribute to gas ionization by incident light when the ionization potential is well above the mean photon energy. Remarks are made on some direct applications of the Heisenberg relations in comparison with our treatment.
