This paper presents the results of testing the adhesion of geopolymer coatings and varnishes with ceramic additives to concrete and steel substrates. The measurement method used and described in this article was the pull-off method. The pull-off method test provides an easy way to evaluate the degree of adhesion of coatings to metal surfaces. The pull-off device provides values for the peel stress, which not only allows a quick determination of the adhesion of the coating to the substrate, but also makes it easier to compare the adhesion of several coatings to each other. However, this method requires appropriate preparation, so an attempt was made to determine its suitability for geopolymer layers. The results of testing the adhesion of a geopolymer layer to a geopolymer substrate and a concrete substrate are presented. As a result of this study, a higher adhesion strength of the geopolymer layer to the geopolymer substrate was found in comparison to geopolymer coatings applied on conventional concrete. Adhesion tests were also conducted for steel substrates to which both geopolymer and acrylic lacquer were applied.

The problem of ensuring occupational safety during emergency rescue operations in the event of a collapse of buildings and structures is considered. Based on the statistics of accidents in the recent years provided by the National Center for Crisis Management of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, the relevance of this topic is determined. For reducing the likelihood of injuries and fatality, it is important to clearly plan, distribute and secure technical means and people at the work sites in the time-limited conditions. To solve this problem, it is proposed to apply the improved methodology for determining the forces and means required for debris handling and rescuing victims in the event of a collapse of buildings and structures. The methodology allows calculating the number of mechanized groups, links of manual disassembly and emergency rescue tools required for carrying out work on debris handling and rescuing victims under the specified meteorological conditions using the input parameters. The output parameters of the calculation according to this methodology are the number of heavy equipment and rescuers with the indication of the amount of work performed in accordance with the level of professional skills. A software implementation of this methodology is proposed, developed for quick determination of the required forces and means for debris handling, which can also be used for preliminary planning of emergency rescue operations and filling in the sections of the use of forces and means in the technical and information-reference documentation of the objects. Application of the recommended developments in practice will allow to reduce the risk of injury and fatality during emergency response associated with the collapse of buildings.

ABSTRACTQuality control checks are the first step in RNA-Sequencing analysis, which enable the identification of common issues that occur in the sequenced reads. Checks for sequence quality, contamination, and complexity are commonplace, and allow users to implement steps downstream which can account for these issues. Strand-specificity of reads is frequently overlooked and is often unavailable even in published data, yet when unknown or incorrectly specified can have detrimental effects on the reproducibility and accuracy of downstream analyses. We present how_are_we_stranded_here, a Python library that helps to quickly infer strandedness of paired-end RNA-Sequencing data.

The article analyzes some possibilities of a quick determination of the relevance of information obtained from some search and reference services located on various web platforms. An important feature to ensure the survivability of the information on the Internet for reference and search services has been identified. This feature consists in providing services to an array of sample data to verify information obtained from primary sources or through the mechanism of following links, which confirm the information or provide an answer to the request in case of failure. It is proposed to consider a search service or some reference platforms using the production rules of if-THEN structures, depending on the available facts. An indicator of the effectiveness of the formalized information is derived through a determinant of the level of the information error when processing it under the conditions of uncertainty, providing that the determinant highlights the data that is not enough to describe the object of the re-quest, and that there may be a solution to system problems among the data. Its representation through some estimated values is given. When developing a search or reference service on a web platform using the proposed approach, such services will hold not just arrays of information structured by topic, but formed arrays of information based on symbolic transformations using both general and separate schemes for displaying information on the request, as well as with the ability to reformulate tasks and queries with the aim of getting the most complete and different information on the request. A mecha-nism for detecting truth and falsity when receiving responses to the request from a service according to the rules of fuzzy logic, when understanding the set can be replaced by understanding the characteristic function, is proposed. An example of an algorithmic implementation is provided as well. All stated above can be used to optimize reference and search services on web platforms, improve the work of search engines and various distributed information processing services.
