Based on the management of big data, the analysis and forecast of the employment demand cycle business situation studied in this article is based on the employment cycle theory and a complete set of employment monitoring, employment evaluation, employment forecasting, and policy selection theories and strategies developed around the employment cycle fluctuations, a specific employment phenomenon. First, systematically evaluate the current state of the employment demand boom, appropriately reflect the hot and cold degree of the employment demand boom, and provide necessary information for the government’s regulatory measures, content, and timing. Secondly, it reflects the regulatory effects of graduate employment monitoring, judging whether graduate employment monitoring measures are properly applied, whether they have the effect of smoothing out employment fluctuations, and promoting the country’s employment demand; in addition, business decision makers can take advantage of the employment demand boom, by monitoring the information provided by the early warning system and timely foreseeing the upcoming macrocontrol measures, so that enterprises’ labor adjustments can adapt to the government’s regulatory measures. At the same time, the model proposes a prosperity index method for monitoring and early warning of the employment demand cycle. After selecting and dividing three types of prosperity indicators, the DI index reflecting the trend of the prosperity change and the CI index reflecting the strength of the prosperity change are calculated and constructed. The national employment demand boom monitoring and early warning signal system predicts the trend of the employment boom cycle outside the sample period. The experimental results show that the cyclic prosperity forecast results are consistent not only with the national employment demand prosperity in recent months, but also with the use of the structural measurement ARIMA (p, d, q) model. The alertness value is close, indicating that this indicator system has a good effect on the national employment demand boom monitoring and early warning.

Purpose- In the current century, the number of students who travel abroad to study at international higher education institutions universally has increased. Accordingly, a considerable number of young generations from different countries are coming together, and most of them prefer to live at the university’s dormitories. The main aim of this research has identified and examined the impacts of roommate conflicts, on the lifestyle and academic success of students living in dormitories. Design/Methodology- The study area of this research is the dormitories located inside the Campus of Eastern Mediterranean University in Famagusta, Northern Cyprus. Data was collected by utilizing both qualitative and quantitative methods. Findings- The results showed that conflicts amidst roommates negatively influenced their lifestyle and academic success. Although it is impossible to solve problems and conflicts at all, however, it is possible to minimize and control them. Moreover, management styles and approaches play a fundamental role in reducing or increasing negative impacts. Practical Implications- Several suggestions mentioned for managers to minimize problems, like price reduction, qualified staff employment, evaluation of dormitories, rewriting the rules against alcohol consumption and making noise, and etc.

BackgroundSurvivors of critical illness often experience poor outcomes after hospitalisation, including delayed return to work, which carries substantial economic consequences.ObjectiveTo conduct a systematic review and meta-analysis of return to work after critical illness.MethodsWe searched PubMed, Embase, PsycINFO, CINAHL and Cochrane Library from 1970 to February 2018. Data were extracted, in duplicate, and random-effects meta-regression used to obtain pooled estimates.ResultsFifty-two studies evaluated return to work in 10 015 previously employed survivors of critical illness, over a median (IQR) follow-up of 12 (6.25–38.5) months. By 1–3, 12 and 42–60 months’ follow-up, pooled return to work prevalence (95% CI) was 36% (23% to 49%), 60% (50% to 69%) and 68% (51% to 85%), respectively (τ2=0.55, I2=87%, p=0.03). No significant difference was observed based on diagnosis (acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) vs non-ARDS) or region (Europe vs North America vs Australia/New Zealand), but was observed when comparing mode of employment evaluation (in-person vs telephone vs mail). Following return to work, 20%–36% of survivors experienced job loss, 17%–66% occupation change and 5%–84% worsening employment status (eg, fewer work hours). Potential risk factors for delayed return to work include pre-existing comorbidities and post-hospital impairments (eg, mental health).ConclusionApproximately two-thirds, two-fifths and one-third of previously employed intensive care unit survivors are jobless up to 3, 12 and 60 months following hospital discharge. Survivors returning to work often experience job loss, occupation change or worse employment status. Interventions should be designed and evaluated to reduce the burden of this common and important problem for survivors of critical illness.Trial registration numberPROSPERO CRD42018093135.
