There is a perception that the Church is circumspect about the use of new technology. Perhaps this view stems from the understanding that the Church is traditional in nature in terms of accepting change or changing. The situation is even more interesting when it comes to embracing the world of Information and Communications Technologies (ICTs) with particular reference to the use of social media platforms such as Facebook and WhatsApp. With this background in mind, the researchers embarked on a qualitative survey “The Catholic Church in Nigeria and Social Media-Use: A Critical Juxtaposition” to assess how the Church views social media in the country. Through the narrative approach, it discovered that the culture of secrecy, conservatism and fear are responsible for lack of taking advantage of social media platforms for evangelisation purposes. The study recommended openness to media protocol, debuting social media ethical codes and setting up a social media commission as positive ways through which the Church can engage social media meaningfully. It concluded that since social media has come to stay, the Catholic Church in Nigeria must set its own benchmark for engaging with the new technology while fulfilling its divine mission on earth.

The importance of studying the coasts and the seabed is already known. In any case, the submerged archaeological presences remain today an aspect not yet addressed in a completely systematic way, often remaining a rather incomplete knowledge. The cataloguing of submerged archaeological evidence, through the formation of underwater deposits maps and the study of these, through the contribution of GIS methodologies, fortuitous - to the understanding of their origins and their transformation over time.

We have been dealing with stress around the world due to the coronavirus outbreak. Too many changes affecting our daily routines, taking into account that routines make us all feel safe, kids had to adjust to homeschooling, no playmates around, parents confused doing home office and homeschooling...many overwhelmed. All these changes in our normality have had an impact on us. And of course, on the children. It is quite common to see people behave angrily with this COVID outbreak. Anger is just one emotion. A frequent one. To feel anger is an emotion; to behave angrily is a choice. Let’s talk here about the way children show this emotion.

The sheets all relate to Palazzo Te, except for one linked to an altarpiece carried out by his workshop

The purpose of this article was to provide relevant discussions and data related to the urgency of teaching Black and other minority children to swim. The findings in this report indicated that Black children tend to have a higher drowning rate when compared to other groups. Also, as high as 64 percent of Black children suffer from extreme fear when confronted with discussions pertaining to swimming. Researchers sometimes perceive this as a cultural issue manifested by parents who never learned to swim themselves. Our findings indicated that Black children have a six times likelihood for unintentional drowning when compared to their white counterparts. Among the reasons for low swimming priorities among Black children, included lack of facilities, affordability, fear of water, and hair concerns.

Opportunity is good but opportunist is bad. Opportunity helps to prosper. It paves the way to attain success. As such everybody likes opportunity. To shine in life, it is a must. Thus there is no wrong to avail opportunity. Opportunity has no substitute. It itself is its substitute. Every successful person avails it. Everybody welcomes a successful person. In contrast everybody hates and avoids an opportunist. An opportunist takes help from others but escapes whenever he is asked to help. Either he declines to help or shows lame excuses.

This study was carried out at the intersection of two branches of linguistics (linguistics of the English-language and Russianlanguage media and linguistic genderology), which is relevant and demanded in modern science. The purpose of the article is to conduct a gender linguistic analysis of printed English-language journals, which will help clarify the distribution of gender roles in English-speaking society and the femininity stereotypes that mass media form in public consciousness. The material of the study was excerpts from printed Russian and English publications in which the image of a woman is realized. A list of the most common images that are verbalized in the Russian and English-language media and based on stereotypes of female behavior, thinking and the role of women in modern society is compiled. A gender analysis of modern and Russianlanguage and English-language press revealed a tendency to change in the hierarchy of gender stereotypes of femininity, in which a shift in emphasis towards the actualization of female business activity and dominance in the professional sphere is clearly observed. The following methods were used in the study: continuous sampling method, content analysis, classification method, comparison, statistical data processing.

It is obscure if a princess marries a penniless person. But she marries. It is obscure if a highly salaried person leaves the job and plays flute in the lonely river side. But he leaves the job. It is obscure if a heroine marries an ugly guy. In reality she marries. None can guess these reasons correctly. The reasons of such obscure decisions are best known to them alone. Life does not follow the known course of route always. Here lies the uniqueness of obscurity rather than unique obscurity

The Lone Star state has long been a symbol of the American West, complete with cowboys, Native Americans, buffalo, cattle drives and the Alamo. Using DNA and genealogical analysis, together with historical documents, this article shows that both the original Spanish settlers and the later “Anglo” arrivals were primarily of Sephardic and Ashkenazic Jewish descent. These findings challenge traditional narratives of “how the West was won”, as well as the prevailing ideology of Anglo-American culture.
