The purpose of this study was to determine whether there is a difference in effectiveness between the participatory model and the discovery learning model on the mathematics learning outcomes of students at SMPN 21 Mataram on the subject of circles. This research is an experimental research type with the static group pretest-posttest desaign design. The sample in this study were students of class VIII SMPN 21 Mataram. The sampling technique in this research is purposive sampling with circle material. The research data collection process used interview, observation, and test instruments. From the research results, the participatory model of learning outcomes obtained an average pretest score of 58.68 and an average posttest score of 73.32. While the discovery learning model of learning outcomes obtained an average pretest score of 58.86 and an average posttest score of 73.91. The results of the hypothesis test of learning outcomes found that the sig. (2-tailed) 0.821. Because the sig value> 0.05, meaning that H0 is accepted and H1 is rejected, it can be concluded that there is no significant difference in effectiveness between the participatory model and the discovery learning model on the mathematics learning outcomes of grade VIII students of SMPN 21 Mataram

This article discusses how to shift the role of teachers and how Islamic education shapes the character of students in the midst of the current 4.0 industrial revolution. The shift in the role of teachers from previously being teacher centered and then becoming facilitators causes a change in the learning orientation paradigm to become student centered. The process of attracting teachers and students in shaping student character is not optimal as in the teacher centered position, it could be because the teachers are no longer free or have more space. Therefore, this shift has implications for the creation of a character crisis for students. The student character crisis has recently become a problem that is busy being discussed and faced by the world of education. It could be because the existence of Islamic education which is thick with a traditional approach (teacher oriented) is no longer considered a solution in the new student-oriented paradigm to shape the character of religious students. Even though the research results explain that the success in shaping the character of students through Islamic religious education has been created through various extra-curricular activities. Because of that, the teacher's ability to insert character values in the learning process, both in intra-curricular and extra-curricular activities is a solution as well as an affirmation that Islamic education is one way of building the character of religious students

This article discusses how the impact of Covid-19 on the implementation of learning in the digital era 4.0. On the other hand, this research also explores the potential emergence of the skills of students in the digital-based learning process. For this purpose, the research was conducted using a literature review (library research). The theme of learning associated with Covid-19 has recently been interesting to study through research. Several research results found that e-learning based learning with application variants during the pandemic was insignificant. Contradictory to the nature of digital learning media which always attracts the attention of students in general. This is relevant to the development period of children who are interested in digital visual media. On the other hand, life and career skills in the 21st century began to be tried during the Covid-19 learning period, such as flexibility and adaptability in the learning process during the Covid-19 period, which led to a variety of creativity and independence among students

East Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara Province (NTB) -Indonesia. By using a descriptive-analytic qualitative research method, data was collected through document techniques, interviews, and observations to explore data about the integration and internalization of Islamic values, namely the values of tawhid, syari'ah, morals and the development of science into students which have implications. on the behavior and enthusiasm of using science (science axiology) of students. The issue of learning mathematics which is related to everyday life has attracted the attention of researchers and educators. Learning that is emphasized on the daily experiences of students is easier to understand learning material and has a strong memory in applying mathematics in real life as the dependent variable in the form of children's learning achievement. This article aims to re-examine whether realistic mathematics learning ((Realistic Mathematics Education) has an influence on student achievement. By using a quasi-experimental research method whose population is all students of class VIII MTS NW SIKUR in the 2020/2021 learning year, totaling 50 students, from class 25 students of class VIII A and 25 students of Class B. Data were collected through test techniques and analyzed according to data analysis procedures The findings of this study were that there was an effect of the learning model of the Realistics Mathematics Education (RME) learning model in improving student learning in mathematics Pythagorean theorem material for Madrasah Tsanawiyah students
