Indonesia is a country with diverse cultures. One of which is Wayang Kulit, which has been recognized by UNESCO. Wayang kulit has a variety of names and personalities, however most younger generations are not familiar with the characters of these shadow puppets. With today's rapid technological advancements, people could use this technology to detect objects using cameras. Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) is one method that can be used. CNN is a learning process that is included in the Deep Learning section and is used to find the best representation. The CNN is commonly used for object detection, would be used to classify good and bad characters. The data used consists of 100 black and white puppet images that were downloaded one at a time. The data was obtained through a training process that uses the CNN method and Google Colab to help speed up the training process. After that, a new model is created to test  the puppet images. The result obtained a 92 percent accuracy rate, means that CNN can differentiate the Wayang Kulit character

This article examines the artistry of a composer named Aloysius Suwardi. This composer, who grew up in the Javanese gamelan music tradition, has produced musical compositions and created musical instruments as a means/medium to express it on the journey of his creativity. His works have been staged in various forums or world music festivals. The musical instruments he has created fill the laboratory spaces to create his musical compositions. Two musical ensembles that have been created are Gamelan Genta and Gamelan Planet Harmonic. These two musical instruments complement the many personal musical instruments he has created, such as the vibrander, tering, gerendang, and other musical instruments. Regarding the two ensembles, this article examines the aspects of the creation process. For example, how did Al Suwardi choose the materials used, how to make them, to how he determined the barrel system for these tools. In terms of compositing, this article examines how Al Suwardi started his work, his models of creation, and how he composes his works until they are declared final. The gragas and dridis creeds and Nunggak Semi's concept are the main topics in this composition creation model. Both creeds and concepts have ushered in the landscape of making Al Suwardi's musical compositions expand, from the gamelan tradition to more contemporary models of music creation

Culture is one of the foundations for the existence of Indonesia as a nation, as it is expressed in the second stanza of her national anthem. The government has taken an initiative to prioritize national character building, which places character education to realize the vision of national development. One of the efforts to visualize this Indonesian is constructed through a Bukalapak advertisement entitled “Barongsai Indonesia, Juara Hati Membangun Negeri,” which presented the Kong Ha Hong lion dance group and was published via Youtube. This study aims to see that the character values of the Indonesian nation can be constructed through digital media, more precisely through an advertisement. This research employed a qualitative approach with a constructivist paradigm that sees facts as unique and has a special meaning. In addition, the analysis used Thomas Albert Sebeok's visual semiotics to depict several similar classifications to different visual symbols. It was found that every advertisement scene contained both visual and audio messages related to the adaptation of the culture and character of the Indonesian. The contribution and novelty of this research in its construction of the deep meaning of an advertisement are that the conscience has played a major role in the process of cultural adaptation in which the national characters have been honed through the actual actions in the heart-mind, body, and spirit. This research suggested that the character of the Indonesian nation can be formed through cultural adaptation, as proven by the Kong Ha Hong lion dance

Diplomacy and communication between countries have real implications for intercultural encounters, and this position must be seen as an event that is not value-free. Indonesian people residing in China, primarily students, have informal tasks with a national mission, which plays an essential role in cultural communication and cultural diplomacy. They are Indonesian students who have artistic abilities and every year they always put on performances, one of which is dance performances. This study describes how a traditional dance from Papua, Yospan, can be used as diplomacy between Indonesia and China. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach; each data obtained will be analyzed using international communication theory and soft diplomacy. This study found that traditional dances and literature in cultural missions are one of the tools of cultural diplomacy that can be used to change the stereotypes and prejudices of foreigners about Indonesia. The conclusion in this study shows that in international communication, traditional culture is a powerful way to build diplomacy. Therefore, this study recommends that the government supports Indonesian students in establishing Indonesian cultural centers in various friendly countries where Indonesian students study.

The tourism industry and craft products are two sectors that are long developed, complementing and strengthening each other. However, not many people consider ceramic craft product design with local culture basis. The research aims to show how local culture can be used as a source for ceramic craft product design ideas. Through design innovation and production techniques, we can increase varieties of ceramic craft product design. However, to make it come true, it needs a creative method as its solution. Creative method application includes: (1) Developing ceramic craft design for souvenir, based on local culture; (2) ceramic craft visual exploration for souvenir sourced from the local culture with Kerapan Sapi Madura (Cow Racing) as creation idea; (3) Ceramic craft production technique for souvenir; (4) Improvement and analysis of ceramic craft product innovation for a souvenir. (5) Analysis of creation result. Creation results can be seen from two design sets of ceramic craft products based on local culture with the “Kerapan Sapi Madura (Cow Racing)” theme as a product design idea.
