<p class="JIPIAbstrakKeywords">A number of diseases have been stigmatized as a side effect of smoking and its smoke. Reducing the dangers of smoking by capturing radioactive substances from cigarette smoke is one way to reduce or reduce the level of danger. This study aims to make a filter made from bidara leaf powder to bind free radicals in cigarette smoke. Bidara leaf powder with PEG solution was mixed and stirred until homogeneous with variations in the mass of bidara powder 0.7 grams, 0.8 grams, 0.8 grams, 0.9 grams and 1 gram. The product was molded with a 0.7 cm diameter pipe hose, allowed to dry before being removed from the mold, and heated at a temperature of 105<sup>o</sup> C for 20 minutes. Biofilter matrix using polyethylene glycol (PEG) and egg white, bidara leaf powder as a biofilter filler. The physical characteristics of the membrane were obtained by conducting density and porosity tests with SEM. The effectiveness of the biofilter membrane is known by passing cigarette smoke, then the number of free radicals trapped in the biofilter is analyzed using ESR. The results showed that the use of a biofilter made from bidara leaf powder with a mass of 0.9 grams with an egg white matrix was able to bind 85.7% of free radicals (C, O<sub>2</sub><sup>-</sup>, C, Peroxy, CO<sub>2</sub><sup>-</sup>, and Hydroperoxides) with 100% effectiveness, density. 0.893 g/cm<sup>3</sup> and porosity 0.6788%. Testing the characteristics of the biofilter with SEM (Scanning Electron Microscopy) shows the size of the biofilter pores between 2-3 m, while the size of free radicals in cigarette smoke ranges from 20-430 nm. This indicates that the ability to bind free radicals in cigarette smoke is influenced by the antioxidant activity of bidara leaf powder (filler biofilter).</p>

<p>This study aims to determine the feasibility level, students' scientific reasoning abilities, and students' responses to the use of quizizz-based interactive questions in measuring students' scientific reasoning skills. This research method uses the 4D model (Define, Design, Development, and Dissemination). The results showed that quizizz-based interactive questions to measure scientific reasoning skills developed were declared very feasible by the validators at a percentage of 82.6%. The results of the percentage of students' scientific reasoning skills on conservation reasoning indicators are 25%, probabilistic reasoning 20.83%, proportional reasoning 8.33%, correlation reasoning 4.17%, variable reasoning 8.33%, and hypothesis-deductive reasoning 12.50 %. The question has positive response criteria as seen from the results of the assessment of students by 88% with very interesting interpretations. Thus, it can be concluded that quizizz-based interactive questions to measure scientific reasoning skills are very feasible to use and get a positive response from students.</p>

<p class="JIPIAbstractBodyEnglish">Perception is a person's assessment of the object or information. The purpose of this study was to determine how students perceive and see which students have a positive perception of the e-module physics-mathematics matrix based on gender differences. The type of research used is survey research. The research approach used is quantitative research. The research population is Jambi University physics education students with a total sample of 120 students. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical data analysis and inferential data analysis with Anova and post hoc Tukey B tests. The results of the study through the Anova test showed that female students and male students obtained sig. smaller than 0.05, namely 0.001 and 0.037, which means that the perception is significantly different from the post hoc results of the Anova test as a whole, indicating that the average perception does not have a significant difference. Male students have a more positive perception than female students. Gender differences that exist in students have an influence on student perceptions. Student perceptions can be used as a guide for lecturers to choose learning media that will be used in the classroom. This research can be used as a guideline for the development of student perception assessments on the mathematical physics e-module in the future with an update in this study, namely student perceptions of the mathematics physics e-module based on gender differences.</p>

<p class="JIPIAbstractBody">Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh National Instruments Multisim (NI-Multisim) <em>Software</em> terhadap penguasaan rangkaian penyearah gelombang ditinjau dari kemampuan visual spasial (KVS) mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pra-eksperimental design. Sampel penelitian adalah mahasiswa calon guru fisika yang mengambil mata kuliah Elektronika Dasar I yang dipilih melalui teknik sampling jenuh. Alat pengumpul data berupa instrumen tes kemampuan visual spasial dan instrumen tes rangkaian penyearah gelombang. Uji korelasi, regresi berganda, dan uji independent sample t-test digunakan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kemampuan spasial-visual terhadap hasil belajar rangkaian penyearah gelombang menggunakan <em>NI-Multisim Software</em>. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Hasil belajar materi rangkaian penyearah gelombang menggunakan <em>NI-Multisim Software</em> berada pada kategori cukup; 2) Kemampuan visual spasial mahasiswa pada indikator KVS-intepretasi berkategori sangat tinggi, KVS-pola seri berkategori tinggi, KVS-refleksi berkategori tinggi, KVS-rotasi berkategori tinggi, KVS-proyeksi berkategori tinggi, dan KVS-menggambar berkategori sedang; 3) Kemampuan visul spasial mahasiswa memiliki korelasi yang positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar mahasiswa dan memiliki kontribusi pengaruh sebesar 76,20% terhadap hasil belajar; 4) Hasil belajar mahasiswa yang memiliki KVS tinggi, lebih baik daripada rerata hasil belajar mahasiswa yang memiliki KVS rendah dalam mempelajari materi rangakaian penyearah gelombang menggunakan <em>NI-Multisim Software</em>.</p>

<p>Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells (DSSC) is photovoltaic with a dye that functions as an acceptor of sunlight. The great potential of using DSSC lies in the ease of the synthesis process, and the dyes used can come from plants. However, like most other solar cells, increasing the operating temperature can degrade the DSSC performance and thus decrease the efficiency. This article presents a model of the relationship between the effect of temperature on DSSC performance. The model proposed is derived from the DSSC equivalence with a diode circuit. By confirming the experimental research results, it is known that the model presented in this study has excellent accuracy on various DSSC performance parameters (R2&gt; 0.99). The performance studied includes the I-V curve's shape, the value of the short-circuit current, the diode leakage current, and the open-circuit voltage. Based on daily temperature data in Pangkalpinang City, the potential performance of the DSSC could also be determined when it was developed in Kep. Bangka Belitung. The short-circuit current value obtained is in the range of 14 A with a voltage of 0.6 V. It is hoped that this proposed model can be information for the development of DSSC because of its enormous potential application in Indonesia.</p>

<p class="JIPIAbstractBody"><span lang="IN">Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh <em>project based learning</em> (PjBL) berbasis <em>science technology engineering and mathematics</em> (STEM) terhadap kemampuan keterampilan proses sains peserta didik dalam pembelajaran Fisika. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan pre-experiment dengan jenis <em>one-group pretest-postest design</em>. Penelitian ini menggunakan satu kelompok (kelas) dengan teknik pengambilan <em>sample random</em> (acak). Kelas yang digunakan, yaitu kelas X MIPA 4 di SMA N 1 Yogyakata.  Responden penelitian sebanyak 36 peserta didik. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan hasil tes awal dan tes akhir. Semua indikator keterampilan proses sains yang diukur juga mengalami peningkatan. Peningkatan yang terjadi termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Hasil analisis uji-t <em>one group pretest and posttest</em> menunjukkan bahwa model PjBL terintegrasi STEM mempengaruhi keterampilan proses sains peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil angket tanggapan peserta didik terhadap penerapan PjBL berbasis STEM secara keseluruhan sebesar 78,21%. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model PjBL terintegrasi STEM dalam pembelajaran fisika memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap keterampilan proses sains peserta didik.</span></p>

<p class="JIPIAbstractBody">Telah berhasil diciptakan alat monitoring denyut jantung, saturasi oksigen (SpO<sub>2</sub>) dalam darah, dan suhu tubuh penderita COVID-19 berbasis IoT. Alat ini berupa gelang yang mana terdiri dari beberapa alat penting, yaitu NodeMCU ESP8266, TCA9548A, lcd oled 128 x 64 pixel, sensor AD8232, sensor MAX30100, dan sensorMPU6050. Alat ini ditujukan untuk penanganan penderita COVID-19 di Indonesia khususnya pasien rawat inap yang berada di rumah sakit darurat ataupun rumah sakit rujukan COVID-19. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode perbandingan, yaitu dengan membandingkan hasil ukur alat yang dibuat dengan alat ukur yang telah ada, seperti oximeter dan thermometer klinis. Hasil ukur denyut jantung menunjukan error yang besar, yaitu sebesar  4,12%, sedangkan hasil ukur saturasi oksigen dan suhu tubuh memiliki error relatif kecil, yaitu sebesar 1,27% dan 0,35%. Hasil pengukuran dapat dilihat pada website Thingspeak.com dalam bentuk grafik. Pengiriman data  dengan kecepatan internet 1,27 Mbps alat berhasil mengirimkan 16 dari 220 data dengan jeda 16-60 detik. Peletakan sensor denyut jantung yang tidak tepat memberikan error yang cukup besar.</p>

<p><em>The ability of Indonesian students to master physics is still low. Based on PISA in 2018, Indonesia ranked at 62<sup>th</sup> out of 72 participating countries</em><em>. It </em><em>was much lower than other Asian countries</em><em>. Therefore, this problem should be overcome. </em><em>One of the existing sources of physics literacy is local wisdom. The local wisdom can be used as a direct source of physics studies for students to increase their literacy skills</em><em>. </em><em>Therefore, in this paper, the authors discussed </em><em>some</em><em> local wisdoms in South Sumatra Province that potential</em><em>ly</em><em> used as physics literacy</em><em> </em><em>object</em><em>s </em><em>for students in their school. South Sumatra has many local wisdoms potentially used as real objects in physics studies for students. Some of the local wisdom </em><em>as</em><em> otok-otok boat and roasted kemplang</em><em> </em><em>can be used as the object of heat transfer studies (thermal), and the traditional houses of Limas and Baghi</em><em> </em><em>can be used as media for learning force, mass, load and modulus of elasticity. The objects of literacy studies are sources of study that can be used by teachers in teaching physics. Through local wisdom-based literacy, it is certainly expected to improve Indonesia's PISA ranking. Not only to improve PISA ranking, but it is also increase the superiority of the nation's future generations.</em><em> </em></p>

<p class="JIPIAbstractBody">Telah dilakukan penelitian tentang pembuatan komposit serat rami dan resin epoxy sebagai bahan alternatif perisai anti-radiasi sinar-X. Komposit yang dibuat telah dihitung massa jenisnya, uji tekan, dan uji radiasi sinar X menggunakan alat X-Ray Apparatus 554 800 Leybold. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari beberapa variasi massa rami, komposit dengan rami 12gr merupakan komposisi yang paling optimal dalam menahan radiasi sinar-X. Komposit tersebut memiliki massa jenis sebesar 1 gr/cm<sup>3</sup> dan kuat tekan dalam sebesar 440 kg/cm<sup>2</sup>.</p>

<p class="JIPIAbstractBodyEnglish">Misconceptions are an obstacle in the learning process, especially in physics. One way to detect misconceptions is to use a three-tier diagnostic test and analyze it using the Certainty of Response Index (CRI). The purpose of this study was to detect students' misconceptions on straight motion material using a three-tier diagnostic test with CRI analysis. This type of research is descriptive research. The sample in this study was taken from students at three high schools in East Lombok district, NTB. The number of samples in this study was 132 students. This test instrument consists of 10 question items. The results showed that students still experienced many misconceptions in straight motion material.</p>
