Pendidikan karakter ( akhlak ) merupakan suatu kebutuhan di tengah kondisi bangsa yang sedang terpuruk oleh krisis multidimensi, terutama krisis akhlak. Terwujudnya seseorang yang berkarakter (dalam istilah agama Akhlaqul Karimah) menjadi dambaan semua orang, terlebih bagi orang tua. Pendidikan karakter diartikan sebagai pendidikan akhlak, nilai budi pekerti, pendidikan moral serta pendidikan watak yang mempunyai tujuan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan seseorang untuk bisa memberikan keputusan baik buruk, mewujudkan kebagian dalam semua aspek kehidupan. Oleh sebab itu, pendidikan karakter akan terlaksana jika selaras dengan system pendidikan yang tepat serta dengan pendidik yang mumpuni

One object of study of God is God's order for humans, commonly known as Sunatullah. Allah SWT as a substance that is the creator of all beings both human and the entire universe is one of the regularities of Allah SWT. Furthermore, the phenomenon of the order of God Almighty in His creation can be seen starting from the creation of humans and nature and their contents. In the level of theology, God's order for human beings (Sunatullah) is not limited to the regularities possessed by His creatures, but more than that, the various regularities that occur in creatures are the will of Allah SWT. Allah Almighty is the substance that wills, and controls the order in His creatures. Sunnatullah as a concept should be invested in Islamic education. Therefore it is necessary to understand about sunnatullah as something that must be believed, used as guidelines and translated at the level of education. After being translated into the education curriculum, the next task of education is to implement sunnatullah as a theological concept into a practical action for students.

This study aimed to analyze student’s learning interests and the learning process of Islamic education by using story strategies. This research was experimental research that was applying to learn using story strategies to the experimental group for several meetings. The sample in this study was 30 students of class VIII at SMP IT Al-Asror Sekampung. The research sample was classified into two groups; the experimental and the control group. The experimental group was a group of students taught by story strategies. The control group was a group of students taught by conventional strategies. The results showed that the use of story strategies in the learning process of Islamic education has been able to overcome student learning problems. The story strategy has been able to arouse enthusiasm and student attention. Curiosity to the storyline encourages students to always pay attention and concentrate on the story being heard. The results of statistical tests on the questionnaire data indicate there was an influence significant use of story strategies on student learning interests. High learning interest would have an impact on the achievement of learning objectives.

This article describes the problems of Islamic religious education high school level public schools. The formulation of the issues raised is 1) What are the problems of Islamic religious education (PAI) found in high school level public schools 2) How are the solutions to overcome the problems of learning Islamic religious education (PAI) in public schools at the high school level. This research method is qualitative research using a literature study method, namely by displaying scientific reasoning arguments. The problems of PAI in high school level public schools include low interest learning learners in the PAI learning, lack of time allocation, problems in educators, problem in students, problem in facilities and infrastructure, the problem in PAI learning methods, and problem in learning evaluation. Meanwhile, solutions to overcome these problems, including replacing professional teachers, finding PAI teachers who are professional in their fields, every educator is included in events such as seminars, providing facilities and infrastructure for the implementation of sufficient Islamic religious teaching practices, educators must master various learning methods so that students easily understand the material delivered, increase the number of PAI teachers, and develop a learning evaluation system where the emphasis is on self-evaluation.

Writing this paper entitled "Development of Video Motivation to Increase Student Literacy in Islamic Learning in Madrasah Aliyah". This writing aims to produce innovative and contextual learning media for the material presented and so that students are also able to literate in understanding the purpose of the video content independently. Islamic Learning is successful in supporting students to be able to answer the purpose of the lesson, the ability of individuals to process information, and knowledge for life skills called literacy. In developing the evaluation of this paper, the writer uses the literature study method. Based on the data from the study results, it can be seen that the learning media based on audiovisual or video that does not motivate students can improve the ability of students to titrate. Can the objectives of learning Islam can be achieved.

The results of this study concluded that the strengthening of the feeling is more effective than the strengthening of the ratio in self-development. It can be done withthat the values ​​of character education contained in Adab al-‘Alim wa al-Muta‘allim written by KH. Hasyim Asyari are taqwa, loving science, zuhd, discipline, al-qawamiyah, patience, wara’, tawad‘u, hard work/sincerity, loving cleanliness, democracy, affection, communication/ frienkedship, righteousness, social care, and gratitude. These 17 values ​​are in accordance with character  education in Indonesia. So that it can be interpreted that the values are proven to form a good disciple (santri) and support effective teaching and learning activities. The primary source of this study is Adab al-‘Alim wa al-Muta‘allim written by KH. Hasyim Asyari. While secondary data are references related to character education in the form of books, magazines, journals and other references relevant to this research. This research is library research. The data obtained were analyzed by descriptive-analysis approach that is by describing the book Adab al-‘Alim wa al-Muta‘allim withsocial history analysis in character education, then analyzed by conducting in-depth study about character education values and their relevance to character education in Indonesia.

Tulisan ini akan mengeksplorasi empat hal penting yang berhubungan dengan ekspresi keberagamaan di Indonesia, khususnya di era – yang sebagian kalangan menyebutnya – revolusi industri 4.0 (the fourth industrial). Sebuah era, yang salah satu fiturnya ialah, masyarakat terkoneksi secara digital dan sangat bergantung pada akses internet. Empat hal tersebut adalah: pertama, dinamika ekspresi keberagamaan pasca reformasi, sebagai penanda perubahan sikap sosial secara fundamental; dari terkanalisasi ke demokrasi tanpa batas. Kedua, desrupsi ide keberagamaan. Ketiga, cara baru pilihan sikap keberagamaan. Terakhir, dampak dekonstelasi politik keberagamaan dan percaturan ideologis di Indonesia. Secara metodik, pendekatan tulisan ini akan menggunakan paradigma antropologis; agar bisa melihat fenomena sikap yang tampak dan mengejawantah di era kontemporer, serta fenomenologisme sebagai perangkat baca untuk menilai postur kesadaran yang membentuk ekspresi keberagamaan tersebut. Pada kesimpulannya, tulisan ini, tidak ingin menilai atau menganalisis mana ekspresi keagamaan yang paling benar dan salah di era revolusi industri  4.0. Sebalinya, tulisan ini sekedar ingin menggambarkan apa yang terjadi pasca kemajuan tekhnologi ‘memperbaiki’ dan ‘merusak’ nilai-nilai keberagamaan yang dipahami/diekspresikan oleh umat Islam di Indonesia.

The position of the hadith in Islamic religious education becomes a basis and foundation for the concepts, framework and design of Islamic religious education, bearing in mind the hadith provides a more concrete rationale regarding the application of various activities that must be developed in the Muslim life and life framework. The concept of Islamic education in the review of educational hadiths covered includes: basic education, learning obligations, educational objectives, educational institutions, learning materials (education), learning methods, educators (teachers), students (students), women's education and evaluation learning. These ten became the basic framework in building Islamic religious education in accordance with the hadith of the Prophet.

Tulisan ini membahas tentang pentingnya menempatkan pegawai pada sebuah lembaga pendidikan, secara jelas tujuan penempatan SDM ini adalah untuk menempatkan orang yang tepat dan jabatan yang sesuai dengan minat dan kemampuannya, sehingga sumber daya manusia yang ada menjadi produktif. Penempatan yang tepat merupakan cara untuk mengoptimalkan kemampuan, keterampilan menuju prestasi kerja yang baik bagi pekerja itu sendiri. Sehingga dalam posisi jabatan yang tepat akan dapat membantu perusahaan dalam mencapai tujuan yang di harapkan. Kriteria-Kriteria yang harus dipenuhi dalam Penempatan pegawai dalam pelaksanaannya antara lain: pengetahuan, kemampuan dan sikap. Sedangkan Penempatan pegawai menurut ayat al-Qur’an dan Hadits meliputi: pengetahuan, kemampuan/ keahlian, tidak meminta jabatan (Hadits), kuat, satu kalangan/golongan, etos kerja tinggi, dan amanah.

Dialog lintas agama antara Muslim dan Non-Muslim di sekolah semakin menarik minat banyak ilmuwan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki peran guru dan siswa Muslim dalam dialog antaragama dan model pengajaran peace-building (pembangunan perdamaian) di sebuah sekolah Kristen. Ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang dilakukan di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Kristen (SMPK) Seputih Banyak, Lampung Tengah. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam dan dokumentasi. Kemudian, model Miles & Huberman digunakan untuk menganalisis data. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa kebijakan sekolah sangat mendukung dialog antaragama di antara semua guru dan siswa yang, memang, memiliki agama yang berbeda. Guru pendidikan agama Islam mempromosikan Islam moderat untuk mendorong dialog antaragama ketika mengajar siswa Muslim dan berinteraksi dengan non-Muslim. Hal ini memberikan pengaruh yang positif terhadap dialog antaragama dan model pengajaran peace-building dikembangkan dan diterapkan di sekolah-sekolah.
