The aim of this research was to know effect of adding the taro starch (Colocasia esculenta)  as a stabilizer on viscosity and organoleptik test. The research method used was a laboratory experiment using a completely randomized desing (CRD), which consists of 4 treatments (P0= without the addition of taro starch, P1= addition of taro starch 0,5%, P2= addition of taro starch 1%, P3= addition of taro starch 1,5%) and 3 replications, then continued by Least Significant Difference (LSD). The result showed that the addition of taro starch as a stabilizer provides highly significant effect (P< 0,01) on the viscosity and texture yogurt. Result showed the highest viscosity values by adding starch 1,5%=8230 cP and the lowest score without the addition of starch is 0%=830 cP. An texture  of yogurt on the highest volue with the addition of taro starch 1,5% with a score of 9 and the lowest rate of 0% was 6,8. While adding starch not have the effect of (P>0,05) in color, taste and flavor. The highest score is of a favorite by adding starch 0,5% = 7,4 and the lowest 1% =7,0. Favorit yogurt on the highest score is adding starch 0,5% = 6,47 and the lowest 1,5% =5,53. On fondnes scent highest score by adding starch 0%  and       0,5% =7,4  and the lowest value adding starch 1% and 1,5% =7,3. It was concluded that the addition of taro starch as a stabilizer of 1.5%  produces yogurt optimum quality in terms of viscosity and texture of yogurt. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of watering frequency of sheep urine solution on plant height, number of leaves and plant production on corn fodder (Zea mays). The material used in this study was 3.750 corn, sheep urine and water. The method used in this study was a field experiment using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 3 treatments and 5 replications. The research treatment consisted of P1 (watering 1 time /day), P2 (watering 2 times /day) and P3 (watering 3 times /day) with 10% sheep urine solution. The variables observed in this study were plant height, number of leaves and plant production. The analysis used was analysis of variance if there was an effect then continued with the LSD test. Based on the results of the study showed that the frequency of watering the urine solution of sheep gave no significant effect (P> 0.05) on plant height, number of leaves and gave a very significant effect (P <0.01) on plant production. The highest plant height in P2 (36.76 cm), the highest number of leaves in P2 (3.40 strands) and the highest plant production in P2 (374.80 grams). The conclusion of this study is the watering of sheep urine solution 2 times a day giving the best results on plant height, leaf number and fresh hydroponic production of corn fodder (Zea mays). This research was conducted at the Laboratory of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, University of Kanjuruhan Malang, which began in March until May 2019. The purpose of this study was to study the quality of semen of Kampung Ayam Arabian funds with long stored Arabs that produce in spaces. In this study, the material used was cement of Kampung chickens and Arabic chickens which were requested from two male chickens and 2 male Arab chickens needed 1.5-2 years that had a body weight of ± 2.5 kg and each tail was accommodated 1 time per day and in one shelter done 1 ejaculation. The laboratory test method uses a completely randomized design (factorial). The research treatment is storing time 0, 1, 2, 3, and 4 hours. Each payment is repeated ten times. The data obtained were analyzed using analysis of variance. The conclusion of this study is that there is an effect of shelf life on the quality of spermatozoa. After 4 hours motility is not feasible for IB, after 4 hours the viability is not feasible for all, after 4 hours the abnormality is not feasible for all.

Pakan substitusi sebagian ransum komersil dengan menggunakan indigofera sp adalah alternatif untuk memcahkan masalah mahalnya harga pakan broiler. indigofera sp memiliki keunggulan kandungan protein yang tinggi serta mudah untuk didapatkan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh substitusi sebagian ransum komersil dengan menggunakan tepung Indigifera sp terhadap lemak abdomen ayam broiler. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan metode rancangan acak lengkap dengan  5 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan, dengan rincian; perlakuan I0 (100% ransum komersil), I1 (92% komersil + 16% Indigofera sp, I3 (76% ransum komersil + 24% Indigofera sp), dan I4 (68% ransum komersil + 32% Indigofera sp).  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Indigofera sp sebagai substitusi sebagian pakan komersil berbeda tidak nyata (P>0,05) terhadap semua parameter yang diteliti, yakni lemak abdomen, persentase lemak abdomen terhadap bobot hidup, persentase lemak abdomen terhadap karkas, persentase lemak abdomen terhadap organ dalam ayam broiler. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah penggunaan Indigofera sp hingga level 32% tidak mempengaruhi lemak abdomen ayam broiler.   Kata Kunci : Indigofera sp, abdomen, broiler

This research was conducted at the Livestock Farming Cooperative (KUTT) of Suka Makmur on Jl. Raya Semambung Grati Desa Grati Pasuruan Regency on September 1, 2018 - September 25 2018. The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence the business performance of people's dairy cows in Grati District, Pasuruan Regency. The population used is dairy farmers who are members of KUTT in Grati Village, Pasuruan Regency with questionnaires as many as 100 people who take ownership of livestock under 5 heads and more than 2 dairy cows. The research method was carried out by the surve method, which is taking samples from the population of dairy farmers with a questionnaire as a data collector. The results of this study are Y = -31,729 + 0,561 X1 + 5,454 X2 + 2,087 X3 + 1,628 X4 + 8,215 X5 + (-0,117 X6) + 0,406 X7 + (-0,922 X8) +0,160 X9 and the R squared value is 0,451 this means that the business performance of dairy cows can be explained by variable X of 45.1% and the remaining 54.9% is caused by sapilactation and extensive cage factors. The factors that influence the performance of dairy cows in the Grati farm in Pasuruan Regency, from this result the most influential variable is the number of lactation cows and cage area.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan lama masa kering dengan produksi susu dan puncak laktasi pada sapi FH. Materi yang digunakan adalah data sekunder dari pencatatan recording 189 ekor sapi FH pada PT. Greenfields Indonesia di Desa Babadan Kecamatan Ngajum Kabupaten Malang. Analisis pengaruh lama masa kering terhadap produksi susu dan puncak laktasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linier. Hasil analisis regresi menunjukkan bahwa hubungan lama masa kering terhadap produksi susu berpengaruh signifikan (P<0,05) dengan persamaan regresi Y = 28,31 – 1,26 X sedangkan dengan puncak laktasi menunjukkan hubungan yang tidak berpengaruh (P>0,05). Lama masa kering menentukan produksi susu pada sapi perah dengan masa kering yang ideal 55- 60 hari dimana semakin lama masa kering maka produksi susu akan menurun. Kata kunci : masa kering, produksi susu, regresi, sapi FH ABSTRACT The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of dry period length on milk production and peak milk yield of the Friesian Holstein (FH) dairy cows. Data on milk production from 189 FH cows raised at PT. Greenfields Indonesia were collected and subjected to linier regression analysis. The results showed that dry period length significantly (P<0.05) on affected milk production with regression equation of Y = 28.31 – 1.26 X, but had no significant effect (P.0.05) on peak milk yield. The optimal length of dry period was observed between 55 and 60 days. Milk production decreased with the increasing length of dry period above 55-60 days. Rubber seed is agricultural waste can used for alternatif feed. Rubber seed use not enough for make ends meet rabbit, additional feed is needed to complete it to mix the ingredient needed technology, technology that can be used, one of which is wafers.  This study aims to determine the performance of the growth phase of rabbit production by using a complete wafer ration with the addition of 0%, 3%, 6% and 9% rubber seed core flour. Observations made in this study were body weight gain, ration consumtion, ration conversion, and feed costs. This study using completely randomized design (CRD), which consists of 4 treatments and 3 replications.  Addition of rubber seed flour in ingredients not significantly up to the level of 9% the production performance of male local rabbits in the growth phase seen from ration consumtion, body weight gain, ration consumtion, and ration conversion. High feed cost is found in the addition of 3% of rubber seed core flour and the lowest feed cost is found in the addition of 9% of rubber seed core flour.

This study aims to determine the satisfaction of farmers with the organizational aspects of Gapoktan (Farmers Groups Association) in Regency of Blitar. This study uses the RAL method (Completely Randomized Design). The number of respondents was 27 people, which were  taken by proportional random sampling from 10 farmer groups registered in the Regency of Blitar. Respondents were given 7 point questions related to organizational aspects of Gapoktan. Each question has a cumulative assessment score that was represented by scoring level from 1  to 5 (very dissatisfied, dissatisfied, somewhat satisfied, satisfied, and very satisfied). The obtained result shows that farmers quite satisfied the organizational aspects of each respective farmer groups. Many factors affect the final results of the questionnaire given to respondents. The main factor is the understanding of respondents about the given problem and this understanding factor is strongly influenced by their level of education and age. Tujuan penelitian adalah  untuk mengetahui kualitas spermatozoa ayam Kampung pada suhu 50C dengan lama simpan yang berbeda. Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian  adalah semen ayam kampung berasal dari 2 ekor ayam Kampung. Penelitian terdiri atas perlakuan lama simpan 0,3,6,9 jam dan diulang 10 kali setiap perlakuan. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian dianalisis menggunakan analisis of variance. Metode penelitian yang dilaksanakan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL). Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perlakuan memberikan hasil yang berbeda sangat nyata (P<0,01) terhadap motilitas, viabilitas dan abnormalitas spermatozoa pada suhu 5 0C. Standar untuk IB pada motilitas, viabilitas dan abnormalitas (40:80:20). Penurunan setiap perlakuan 0,3,6 dan 9 jam pada  motilitas (100±0d, 26,2±2,62c, 17,6±2,45b dan 5,9±0,99a) dan viabilitas (100±0d, 73,4 ± 5,81c, 63,9 ± 5,25b dan 45,9 ± 4,95a). Pada abnormalitas terjadi peningkatan setiap perlakuan dengan nilai 0 ± 0a, 0,3±0,48a ,0,6±0,69a dan 1,2±0,78b. Perlakuan lama simpan 0 jam lebih baik dari 3, 6 dan 9 jam. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kualitas semen ayam Kampung  yang disimpan pada suhu 5 0C dengan lama simpan yang berbeda yang meliputi motilitas, viabilitas dan abnormalitas spermatozoa yang digunakan  untuk IB dan sesuai standar hanya mampu bertahan sampai lama simpan kurang dari 3 jam. Kelayakan untuk IB hanya bertahan pada lama simpan kurang dari 3 jam, oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan penelitian lanjutan untuk mengetahui tepatnya pada jam ke berapa semen layak untuk dilakukan (IB).

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui level penggunaan tepung onggok terfermentasi sebagai pakan alternative pengganti Bekatul dalam meningkatkan penampilan produksi ayam kampung super yang meliputi konsumsi pakan dan pertambahan bobot badan sehingga dapat meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat dalam usaha peternakan ayam kampung super. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan teknik observasi. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri dari 4 perlakuan dan 6 kali ulangan. Perlakuan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini P0 merupakan perlakuan tanpa penambahan Tepung Onggok Terfermentasi (TOT), P1 penambahan tepung onggok sebagai subtitusi bekatul 25 % Tepung Onggok Terfermentasi (TOT) dan 75 % Bekatul dalam ransum untuk mengganti penggunaan Bekatul, P2,penambahan TOT 50 % + 50 % Bekatul dalam ransum, P3, penambahan TOT 75% + 25% Bekatul dalam ransum. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan ternak ayam kampung super umur 28 hari sebanyak 120 ekor dan terbagi 5 ekor di setiap ulangan. Kandang yang digunakan adalah kandang koloni dengan ukuran 100 x 70 x 80 cm di setiap perlakuan dan ulangan. Hasil data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan TOT sebagai pengganti bekatul dalam ransum pakan ayam kampung super memberikan pengaruh yang nyata (P<0,05) terhadap nilai konsumsi pakan ayam kampung super. Hasil data penelitian penggunaan TOT sebagai pengganti bekatul dalam ransum pakan tidak memberikan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap Pertambahan Bobot Badan (PBB) ayam kampung super .
