Nanotechnology is steadily transgressing from the laboratory to the commercial sphere and is enhancing products in a variety of sectors. Nanotechnology R&D has evolved from foundational discoveries aimed at understanding and exploiting nanoscale behaviour to an enabling technology. Nanomaterials are materials which are sized between 1 to 100 nm. Due to the basic characteristics of nanomaterials such as optical properties, reflection, transmission, absorption, and light emission, which are different from those of bulk materials, nanomaterials are useful in a variety of applications in different fields. In this paper the different types of nanomaterials have been outlined based upon their dimensions and applications in the field of electronics such as Quantum dots (QD’s) in solar cells and Carbon Nanotubes and graphene in FETs.

Smart Parking System is based on Internet of Things technology and Android Application which enables the customer to view the available parking spaces and also book the parking space. Therefore, the project aimed at designing a system that will enable the customers to book the parking slot at their convenience. The data for functional, non-functional and system requirements were collected. This data was used to prepare the UML diagrams such as the Entity Relationship Diagram. This system was implemented using different IOT tools like IR sensors and also includes mobile application development for creating interfaces for booking parking slots.

Research comparing the advantages of spin coating and chemical bath deposition is going, and there are varied views on these methods. Here, we used spin coating and chemical bath deposition to prepare thin films of ZnS nanoparticles. The film was analysed by photoluminescence (PL) spectrophotometry, field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), ultraviolet spectroscopy (UV-Vis), and energy-dispersive X-ray (EDX) spectroscopy. The UV-Vis spectra revealed that the wavelength of ZnS is between 220 nm - 320 nm while the PL spectra showed a peak centred in the blue region. Both spin coating and chemical bath deposition rendered spherical nanoparticles but of different sizes 17.9 nm and 21.2 -25.7 nm, respectively. It was concluded that each method has its potential. This work can help researchers choose a suitable method for fabricating thin films, depending on the aims and objectives of their work.

Crude oil contamination is one of the important issue in the current environment pollution. Physical, chemical and biological methods are applied for bioremediation. Use of microorganisms is one of the most popular methods among them. In this experiment, soil samples were collected from the different motor workshop areas to isolate potential microbes capable of crude oil degradation. Isolation of the crude oil degrading bacteria was followed by enriching the microorganisms by providing suitable growth conditions. The microorganisms those were capable of degrading the crude oil were identified as Bacillus spp., Pseudoxanthomonas spp., Phenylobacterium spp. and Micrococcus spp. by morphological and biological methods. Among them, biodegradation capability of Micrococcus sp. was studied at different oil concentrations.

To stay sustain in the highly challenging and competitive global market is essential for all businesses. To get highest productivity in companies, interpersonal communication fills the gap between various system and management. Motivated employees for better performance, efficient communication is must to achieve this. This study examines the association between three communication patterns i.e. Upward Communication, Downward Communication, Horizontal Communication & Job satisfaction of employees work in large scale industries in Pune. From this study researchers have tried to indicate a positive relationship between interpersonal communication and performance of employees. Employees of large sectors need to improve level of communication to enhance the Job satisfaction and commitment and hence retention in organizations. Without interpersonal communication, there may be lots of issues take place. Management and coordination of different departments in various functions can also be possible with the use of systematic interpersonal communication system. A good interpersonal skills are always proved important for employees in making organizations successful and it affects different elements of organizational effectiveness

This study is to investigate experimentally fire resistance of flat slab manufactured using recycled crushed ceramics as coarse aggregate. From an economic point of view, this experiment is costly; however, if it managed and done correctly it can save raw materials, and conserve natural resources. The test is carried out on six slabs measuring 1.65*1.65*0.15m tested under flexural load exposed to fire under load for about 120 min. Two slabs were control without recycled ceramics aggregate, one slab with recycled ceramics aggregate with ratio of 35%, and three slabs with different ratios of 20%, 35% and 50% cast in layers such that the lower layer which was exposed to fire contains crushed ceramics, and the upper layer from ordinary concrete. This paper examines the feasibility of using ceramics wastes in concrete. The behavior of R.C flat slabs manufactured with recycled crushed ceramics was similar to that the normal concrete.
