ABSTRAK Pada perkembangannya media massa lebih mengarah pada media online. Dalam arus penyebaran informasi media online menjadi lebih luas dan cepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan citra perusahaan pada PT.PLN (Persero) pada pemberitaan media online. Penelitian ini menganalisis isi konten pemberitaan terkait perusahaan pada isu subsidi listrik tepat sasaran 2016. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah analisis isi. Dari kategori dan indikator yang telah ditentukan, ditemukan bahwa banyak digunakan nada pernyataan buruk pada judul berita namun tidak sama halnya dengan isi konten berita yang cenderung mendapatkan penilaian positif. Hal itu dikarenakan narasumber yang dominan dan terdapat dalam konten pemberitaan merupakan pihak-pihak yang terlibat dalam proses pembuatan kebijakan subsidi listrik tepat sasaran. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa perusahaan PT.PLN (Persero) dalam penelitian ini mendapatkan citra yang positif dari pemberitaan di media online detik.com terkait Isu Subsidi Listrik Tepat Sasaran 2016. Kata Kunci: Citra perusahaan, PLN, Subsidi, Kebijakan ABSTRACT In its development, mass media is more directed at online media. In the flow of information dissemination online media becomes wider and faster. This study aims to describe the company's image to PT. PLN (Persero) on online media coverage. This study analyzes the content of news related content about the company on the issue of electricity subsidies on target 2016. The research approach uses quantitative research. The method used in this study is content analysis. From the categories and indicators that have been determined, it was found that many used bad statement tones in the headline but not the same as the content of news content which tended to get a positive rating. This is because the dominant sources included in the news content are those involved in the process of making electricity subsidy policy on target. The results of this study can be concluded that the company PT PLN (Persero) in this study get a positive image from the news on detik.com online media related to the Issue of the Right Target Electricity Subsidy 2016. This gatekeeping theory-based study investigates ongoing practices that most prominent news media organizations employ to enable user participation. A thorough analysis of 20 top news websites in the world suggests that reader participation in developing news content and reacting to it is limited. Specifically, major news websites allow participation in areas that increase website traffic, while enabling citizens to produce stories is not a widely adopted form of reader participation.

Informal chatter has always been part of the scientific community, but with the emergence of online blogs these casual debates have become public. Here, I present a case study of how blog information influenced the online news frames during the December 2010 coverage of the arsenic-based life study. The results show how media frames were homogeneous and transformed abruptly from a positive ‘Gee Whiz’ frame towards a critical frame and lastly to a meta media frame over the course of a few days. From beginning to end, the blogosphere heavily influenced the news content, use of sources and spread of information between news outlets. Such rapid and uncontrollable influence of blogosphere information on online news coverage can be explained theoretically as an example of science grapevine communication.

The article describes the changes in the processes of formation of the news information picture of the readership at the beginning of the XXI century. The stages of development of media communications on the Internet, caused by the emergence of new information channels, have been identified. At the first stage, up to 2005, the actively developing online media formed the information field. After 2005, the blogosphere is added to the media, the informational picture begins to be influenced by the phenomenon of “people’s journalism”. After 2010, social networks are included in the distribution of media products. Since 2017, the distribution, and then the production of news content is moved to instant messengers.

This study aims to determine of Kompas.com and Republika.online to framing these news about the Lenteng Agung headwoman. The method used is qualitative content analysis with a model framing Robert Entman. The results showed that Kompas.com more than Republika.Online proclaim this problem. Both of these media defines the rejection problem some people Lenteng Agung against the headman Susan Zulkifli by religious differences and gender (define problems) and formulate the problem is not only focused on Susan, but also on other actors such as the  Minister and the Governor/Deputy Governor of Jakarta (diagnosis causes). Besides, Kompas.com bring the parties pro Susan or not. While Republika.online not directly involve citizens who refuse Susan (make a moral judgment). Kompas.com featuring independent actors who can look at this case is more independent polemic as resolving. While Republika.online further highlight its own peaceful protest submitted by Susan (Treatment Recommendations). Recommendation of this study is a news portal Kompas.com and Republika.com to consistently keep writing news content according to the vision of the mission. Disamping itu, Kompas.com menghadirkan pihak-pihak yang pro Susan maupun tidak. Sementara Republika.online tidak secara langsung melibatkan warga yang menolak Susan (make moral judgement). Kompas.com menampilkan aktor-aktor independen yang dapat melihat polemik kasus ini lebih independen sebagai upaya penyelesaian masalah. Sedangkan Republika.online lebih menonjolkan aksi damai yang disampaikan sendiri oleh Susan (treatment recommendations).Rekomendasi penelitian ini adalah portal berita Kompas.com dan Republika.com untuk terus konsisten menjaga penulisan isi beritanya sesuai visi misi yang diemban. Sehingga berita-berita yang disampaikan dapat memberikan konstruksi berita yang semestinya diketahui oleh khalayak. Kata Kunci : Framing, berita, media online, Kompas.com, Republika.online.

The explosive growth of news and news content generated worldwide, coupled with the expansion through online media and rapid access to data, has made trouble and screening of news tedious. An expanding need for a model that can reprocess, break down, and order main content to extract interpretable information, explicitly recognizing subjects and content-driven groupings of articles. This paper proposed automated analyzing heterogeneous news through complex event processing (CEP) and machine learning (ML) algorithms. Initially, news content streamed using Apache Kafka, stored in Apache Druid, and further processed by a blend of natural language processing (NLP) and unsupervised machine learning (ML) techniques.

The 2016 Jember Fashion Carnaval (JFC) has been widely reported in the online media from August to September 2016. This annual carnival provides implications on the effort of the Jember City destination branding. The purpose of this study is to analyze the news content of 2016 JFC on the online media from August to September 2016. The focus of this study is the interpretation of 2016 JFC news text that formed the destination branding of Jember City. This study applies content analysis method with the descriptive quantitative approach. The results of this study indicate that the news of 2016 JFC represents the development phase of Jember City destination branding with the most information source coming from bureaucrats (39%), most news contents topic are 2016 JFC review (20%) and 2016 JFC event (20%), most news category theme is lifestyle, and dominated by positive news tone (70%).

This research discusses about frame of online newspaper that convey the slogan of Tong Ngin Fan Ngin Jit Jong. The slogan itself reflects the equality slogan for both Malay and Chinese ethnics in Bangka Belitung Islands Province. The deliverance of this issue departs from the framing differences of the "Tong Ngin Fan Ngin Jit Jong" slogan by several online newspapers. This study aimed to investigate the framing of issues raised in three perspectives by online newspapers, such as m.radarbangka.co.id, bangka.tribunnews.com, and mediaindonesia.com. This research utilises the framing method by Fairhurst and Sarr. The research discovers framing similarities and differences of those three online newspaper. This research also discovers media perspective that leans towards a political figure mentioned in the news content.
