Abstract Ongoing monitoring and process evaluation of public health initiatives can be challenging, particularly with complex initiatives involving multiple partners and systems and environmental change goals. Limited resources for monitoring and evaluation contribute to these challenges. Many initiatives and programs generate multiple reporting documents, however, such as planning documents, site visit or trip reports, and summative evaluation reports. Often these documents are underutilized, although they contain valuable information that can be mined. If (ideally) thoughtfully designed and then systematically reviewed using quantitative and qualitative content analysis methods (e.g. Neuendorff 2019, White and Marsh 2006), such documents can serve as valuable and cost- and time-efficient sources of data for monitoring and course correction. The presenters have experience both teaching, designing, and utilizing documents and content analysis methods for supporting effective planning, monitoring, and process evaluation. We will briefly present both quantitative and qualitative content analysis methods that can be applied both to documents tailored for such methods and pre-existing documents. The use of simpler tools for managing and analyzing data such as Excel as well as more complex computer assisted data analysis software (CAQDAS) packages will be reviewed. We will give examples utilizing experiences applying these methods to local public health department work as well as global health engagement projects. Following presentation giving an overview of content analysis methods and developing tools for applying them to documents via identified criteria, participants will be dividing into small breakout groups, and supported in brainstorming discussions about how they can use these methods with their own programs and initiatives. Following this workshop, participants should be able to: 1) discuss the differences between quantitative and qualitative approaches to content analysis of documents, for monitoring purposes; 2) understand the process of identifying criteria or categories tied to the goals and objectives of initiatives or programs, even if goals and objectives change over time, and utilizing these criteria to develop tools for systematic review and content analysis of available documents; and 3) leave with initial ideas about how to apply these tools in their own work and resources for doing so. Key messages Program or project generated documents such as plans, site visit and existing reports are underutilized for monitoring and process evaluation but can serve as valuable and accessible data sources. Systematic review including quantitative and qualitative content analysis methods can be used with project documents to support valid and rigorous data extraction for monitoring purposes.

With recent technological advances, cyber partner abuse has become increasingly problematic. The purpose of this study was to systematically review the existing literature on cyber partner abuse. This systematic review examines the characteristics and conceptualizations in the cyber partner abuse literature as well as the major topics the research has explored. Literature searches used keywords related to cyber partner abuse. In total, 37 articles were included in this review. Inductive qualitative content analysis methods were used to generate codes and themes from the identified articles. Results detail the study characteristics and conceptualizations in the cyber partner abuse research. Additionally, common thematic patterns reported by researchers in the literature are discussed. Specific recommendations for future research and practice stem from this review and are provided.

Race has been one of the most controversial subjects studied by scholars across a wide range of disciplines as they debate whether races actually exist and whether race matters in determining life, social, and educational outcomes. Missing from the literature are investigations into various ways race gets applied in research, especially in higher education and student affairs. This review explores how scholars use race in their framing, operationalizing, and interpreting of research on college students. Through a systematic content analysis of three higher education journals over five years, this review elucidates scholars’ varied racial applications as well as potential implicit and explicit messages about race being sent by those applications and inconsistencies within articles. By better understanding how race is used in higher education and student affairs research, scholars can be more purposeful in their applications to reduce problematic messages about the essentialist nature of race and deficit framing of certain racial groups.

Abstract: This research was conducted to find out how reward and punishment according to Irawati certainly does not conflict with the value of Islamic education. This is a library research the data of which were taken from several works of Irawati Istadi and direct interviews with her. The researcher also took some data from several researchers who discussed Irawati Istadi's thoughts and from Islamic education figures whose thoughts had relevance to the research theme. Content analysis methods is applied to draw conclusions. From this research, it can be concluded that the concept of reward and punishment according to Irawati Istadi turns out to be compatible with the Islamic education. However, in Irawati's thought, there are also some differences shows the development of thoughts from previous figures of Islamic education and certainly did not conflict with the values of Islamic education. <strong>Abstrak: </strong>Studi ini membahas perspektif Syiah Imamiyah tentang dimensi tauhid. Dengan pendekatan tafsir al-Qur’an, tulisan ini mengungkapkan temuan bahwa Al-Qur’an sebagai pedoman bagi umat manusia memuat ayat-ayat tauhid yang merupakan asas dan dasar kajian Islam. Ayat-ayat ini diklasifikasi oleh ulama Syiah ke dalam dua kelompok. Kelompok pertama, ayat-ayat yang memuat tentang tauhid teoretis; pemikiran konsep serta pemahaman yang mentauhidkan Allah swt. baik dalam hal zat, sifat maupun perbuatan-Nya. Kelompok kedua adalah ayat-ayat yang mengulas tentang tauhid praktis atau yang disebut dengan tindakan atau amal yang berlandaskan tauhid teoretis. This study examines the Shiite Imamiyah school of thought on the dimension of monotheism in the Qur’an. This study is a literature study where the works of Shiite scholars are analyzed by content analysis methods. This study is hoped to become as sufficient information about monotheism according to the Shiah school as explained by scholars of Shi’ism. This study proposes that there are two dimensions of monotheism in the Shia school, namely theoretical monotheism and practical dimensions. The theoretical dimension of monotheism constitutes three categories which include first, substance monotheism, second monotheism of character, and third, monotheism of action. In addition, the practical dimension in monotheism is divided into three namely monotheism in worship (<em>taw<span style="text-decoration: underline;">h</span>îd</em> ‘<em>ibâdah</em>), monotheism in obedience and observance, and monotheism in acquiring comfort and assistance.<br /> <br /><strong>Keywords:</strong> Shia Imamiyah, theology, Qur’an<strong></strong>

Field hockey is an evolving sport, but it is unclear whether performance analysis techniques are reflective of current best practice. The objective of this review was to identify performance analysis methods used in field hockey, assess their practicality, and provide recommendations on their implementation in the field. A systematic search of the databases SPORTDiscus, Web of Science, Scopus, MEDLINE and PubMed was performed. Key words addressed performance analysis methods and field hockey, with all other disciplines of sport science excluded. A total of 8 articles were identified from the systematic review. Three studies explored patterns of play in relation to goal scoring opportunities, two articles examined penalty corner strategies and three compared specific actions in hockey. The limited performance analysis research in field hockey has focused on game actions in patterns of play. However, greater insights may be gained by analysing hockey using a holistic approach that incorporates spatio-temporal variables and player-opposition interactions. There is an opportunity to employ novel performance analysis techniques in hockey which provide more practical and effective approaches for analysing strategies and tactics.
