KONSEP REWARD DAN PUNISHMENT MENURUT IRAWATI ISTADI (KAJIAN DALAM PERSPEKTIF PENDIDIKAN ISLAM)

Abstract: This research was conducted to find out how reward and punishment according to Irawati certainly does not conflict with the value of Islamic education. This is a library research the data of which were taken from several works of Irawati Istadi and direct interviews with her. The researcher also took some data from several researchers who discussed Irawati Istadi's thoughts and from Islamic education figures whose thoughts had relevance to the research theme. Content analysis methods is applied to draw conclusions. From this research, it can be concluded that the concept of reward and punishment according to Irawati Istadi turns out to be compatible with the Islamic education. However, in Irawati's thought, there are also some differences shows the development of thoughts from previous figures of Islamic education and certainly did not conflict with the values of Islamic education. Of several problems in the Millennial era, one of them is the westernization of science, including Islamic education. So it is necessary to find a solution by Islamizing science as conceptualized by Ismail Radji al-Faruqi. This research is a library research using qualitative descriptive analysis. Data was collected from various kinds of reading sources in the form of scientific articles and books and other supporting references, then ancarried content analysis was in-depthout to find solutions to educational problems in the millennial era. The results of the research show that the concept of Islamic education Ismail Radji al-Faruqi is a leading Muslim intellectual who has responded positively to the development of science and technology, but he still puts the principle of tauhid in his idea of ​​Islamization of science. Through a work plan arranged systematically with five objectives and twelve stages al-Faruqi was able to realize his program. It is important to review the concept of education to be re-realized in the current millennial era.

<p><strong>Abstrak:</strong> Studi ini mengkaji pemikiran Sayyid Usman tentang etika pendidikan dalam perspektif Islam. Studi ini perlu dilakukan mengingat belum banyak studi tentang tokoh lokal dari Nusantara yang berkontribusi dalam bidang pendidikan Islam. Artikel ini merupakan hasil penelitian kepustakaan yang mengandalkan metode analisis isi, dan mengajukan temuan bahwa Sayyid Usman menulis sebuah karya dalam bidang etika yang berjudul Âdâb al-Insân. Kitab ini relatif kurang diteliti dalam sudut pandang pendidikan Islam. Berdasarkan telaah terhadap naskah Nusantara ini, penulisnya menegaskan bahwa pendidikan merupakan solusi utama dalam rangka memperbaiki adab orang-orang jahat dengan mengajarkan serangkaian adab yang melingkupi aspek kepribadian, sosial dan profesionalitas. Studi ini berkontribusi dalam penguatan gugusan literatur dalam bidang pendidikan Islam mengingat tidak banyak tokoh Nusantara yang dikenalkan dan dikaji di perguruan tinggi Islam.</p><p><strong>Abstract: Paedagogical Narrative from Betawi Land: Sayyid Usman’s Thoughts on Educational Ethics</strong>. This study examines Sayyid Usman’s thinking concerning the ethics of education in an Islamic perspective. This study is necessary considering the scarcity of research on local scholars who have contributed to the field of Islamic education. This article is the result of library research that relies on the method of content analysis, and proposes findings that Sayyid Usman wrote a work in the field of ethics, entitled Âdâb al-Insân. This book is relatively under-researched in the perspective of Islamic education. Based on a review of this archipelago script, the author emphasizes that education is the main solution in improving the ethics of bad people by teaching a series of âdâb which covers aspects of personality, social and professionalism. This study contributes to the strengthening of the literature in the field of Islamic education considering that there are not many Nusantara figures introduced and studied in Islamic Higher Education institutions.</p><p><strong>Kata Kunci:</strong> pendidikan, etika, Nusantara, Betawi, Sayyid Usman</p>

This article discussed educators from the perspective of the Al-Quran and Islamic education. Educators are an important element in the Islamic education system. Educators are determinants of the intellectual and moral success of students. So it is interesting to ask how educators in the perspective of the Al-Quran and Islamic education. To answer these research questions, this study used library research and descriptive-analysis methods. The results of this study revealed that the subject of educators according to the Al-Quran is very diverse and forms a hierarchy, Allah, Rasulullah, parents, and teachers. Whereas the predicate that is usually carried by an educator in the Islamic education tradition is Ustadz, Mu'allim, Mursyid, Murabbi, Mudarris, and Mu'addib. Each of these names has almost the same meaning but has its own definitions and characteristics.

In essence, education wants students besides they have extensive knowledge, they also have noble morals and have skills based on their interests. Of the many figures of Islamic education, this study will focus more on Ibn Sina’s thoughts on education. This study aims to identify education from Ibn Sina’s perspective, especially concerning ideal teachers. The research also is expected to give an alternative solution to all kinds of problems in the education world. This research uses a qualitative approach with a library research method. The data collection technique in this research is based on the information contained in literature sources, both in books and journals relevant to the research theme. The journals used in this study amounted to twenty-one journals from 2014 to 2020. At the same time, the books used in this study amounted to two books spanning 2015 to 2017. The research results indicate that Ibn Sina’s thoughts on the concept of education emphasize the achievement of a perfect human. According to Ibn Sina, there are four main points of educational thought, including educational goals, curriculum concepts, learning methods, and educator concepts. These concepts are still very relevant to current education. Based on this, according to Ibn Sina, the concept of education should be emulated and developed by education practitioners in modern times, especially in the development of Islamic education in Indonesia.

This research aims to provide an overview of the urgency of Islamic education as a shield from the problem of social disorder in humans. Islamic education has a very strategic position in the development of human nature. Therefore, the study of education has attracted many experts, one of them is Al-Ghazali. In his theory, introducing that one of the substances of education is al-aql (thinking) can determine human thinking that leads to positive or negative things depending on someone who reacts. The research used a descriptive-analytical type. With content analysis techniques. This research uses a library research type approach. The results show that Islamic education in the disruptive era is able to overcome the social disorders that exist in society. It is realized that Social disorder is a pest in people's lives that has side effects on a person, so it is not able to explore itself given the disruptive era brought a lot of progress in the field of science and technology.

In Islamic education, the granting of punishment and reward is permitted based on the Quran and Sunnah by maintaining aspects of tarbiyah. This study aims to discuss how effective the application of reward and punishment systems in motivating someone's performance in general, be it students, employees. And as a religious individual, especially for those who are Muslim, how does the effect of implementing this reward and punishment system increase faith and good deeds or avoid evil. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques include library research, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques are data reduction, and data verification. The results showed that the forms of rewards given included rewarding someone who excelled in an action, were able to improve the person's performance motivation in the future and could motivate others to do the same good.On the other hand, punishment is also important to apply including giving advice and guidance, showing a sour face, giving a hard rebuke, and giving additional tasks, such as memorizing the surah or short verses from the Quran or hadith, is also able to prevent someone from doing negative things and try not to repeat negative things in the future.

<p><em>Imam al-Qusyairiy who is known as one of the leading figures of Sufi scholars, is also a </em>Muhaddits<em> and </em>Mufassir<em>. Among his monumental works in the field of interpretation is </em>Lathâif al-Isyârât'<em>s interpretation book. In this study the author will illustrate how the book is, in terms of content, purpose of writing and the method used in its interpretation. This type of research is library research focusing on </em>Lathâif al-Isyârât's<em> interpretation of the book, using content analysis methods. The results showed that Tafsir al-Qusyairiy or </em>Lathâif al-Isyârât<em> was a classical interpretation which became a reference for enthusiasts of </em>Isyariy<em>-style interpretation written by a </em>tsiqah<em> hadith scholar. The Isyariy interpretation style referred to is the interpretation style based on the signs contained in the al-Qur'an verse which can only be obtained by </em>Ma’rifah<em> experts. In writing his commentary, Imam Al-Qusyairiy uses the </em>ijmâli<em> method, without being elaborate, so that it does not bore the reader, by interpreting one verse in its isyariy style then includes an analysis of the meaning contained by the verse, both zahir and spiritual meaning.</em></p><p>Imam al-Qusyairiy yang dikenal sebagai salah seorang sosok tokoh ulama sufi, ternyata juga seorang <em>muhaddits</em> dan <em>mufassir</em>. Di antara karya monumentalnya dalam bidang tafsir adalah kitab tafsir <em>Lathâif al-Isyârât</em>. Dalam penelitian ini penulis akan menggambarkan bagaimana kitab tersebut, baik dari segi gambaran isi, tujuan penulisan, dan metode yang dipakai dalam penafsirannya. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kepustakaan (<em>library research</em>) dengan menfokuskan penelitian pada kitab tafsir <em>Lathâif al-Isyârât</em>, dengan menggunakan metode analisis isi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Tafsir al-Qusyairiy atau <em>Lathâif al-Isyârât</em> adalah tafsir klasik yang menjadi rujukan bagi peminat tafsir bercorak <em>Isyariy</em><em> </em>yang ditulis oleh seorang ulama hadis yang<em> tsiqah</em>. Corak penafsiran <em>Isyariy</em><em> </em>yang dimaksud yaitu yaitu corak penafsiran berdasarkan isyarat-isyarat yang terkandung dalam ayat al-Qur’an yang hanya dapat didapatkan oleh para <em>Ahli Ma’rifah</em>. Dalam penulisan tafsirnya Imam Al-Qusyairiy menggunakan metode <em>ijmâli</em>, tanpa berpanjang lebar, sehingga tidak membosankan pembacanya, dengan menafsirkan satu ayat dengan corak <em>isyariy-</em>nya kemudian menyantumkan analisis terhadap makna yang dikandung oleh ayat baik itu makna <em>zhahir</em> maupun makna <em>bathin.</em></p><p><em><br /></em></p>

This article reveals the contents of moral values ​​in the Book of Syi'ir Ngudi Susilo by K. H. Bisri Musthofa and their relevance to Islamic education. This research is included in the type of library research (library research) by discussing qualitative, while in collecting data using the library method, the analysis used in this thesis is content analysis (content analysis). The results obtained from this study are: (1) the collection of the Ngudi Susilo Syi'ir Book will mean from moral values, consisting of 9 (Nine) chapters that discuss morality in everyday life (2) moral values ​​that contained in this book are morals towards Allah, morals towards oneself, morals with parents, morals with educators, morals with nation and state, and morals with the environment. (3) the relevance of moral values ​​to Islamic education is the importance of involving and applying moral values ​​to the education of children from an early age. Education with Syi'ir can facilitate the internalization of moral values ​​in students.

AbstractThe psychological principle of Islamic education becomes very important in its own, considering it can be understood as the truth that is a foothold or basic thinking, both in the planning, implementation, or evaluation of education based on the theories of psychology. The purpose of writing this article is to find out the polarization of the stages of leadership that are appropriate to be applied in educational institutions. The current problem of Indonesian education is that the quality is not optimal and evenly distributed. The method and type of data collection in this study is library research by collecting books, journals and the results of previous studies that support the research theme, including literature on leadership which includes transformational, Islamic Education and objective leadership models. The results of this study show that the leadership variables are the most important and urgent variables in an effort to create / realize quality education.
