ABSTRACT   The study aimed to determine the effect of liquid organic fertilizer Super Aci application to the production of super sweet corn. Randomized group design with six fertilizer dosage treatments which are A= without fertilizer; B= N, P and K fertilizers with recommended dosages; C= organic liquid fertilizer Super Aci with 1 cc / liter of water dosage; D= organic liquid fertilizer Super Aci with 2 cc / liter of water dosage;  E = organic liquid fertilizer Super Aci with  3 cc / liter of water dosage;  and F = organic liquid fertilizer Super Aci with 4 cc / liter of water dosage. Observed variables include 1). Length of corn cob, measured at harvest; 2) corn cob diameter measured at harvest; corn cob weight measured at harvest. The data were analysed using analysis of variance and if the treatments were significantly difference then the analysis was continued with Least Significant Difference (LCD) of 5%. The results showed that the use of liquid organic fertilizer influenced the production of super sweet corn. The application of anorganic fertilizer N, P, and K also affected the growth and development of super sweet corn. The applicaton of organic fertilizer with 4 cc/water dosage gave the highest length and weight of the sweet corn. Key words: Organic fertilizer Super Aci, sweet corn crop ABSTRAK   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian pupuk organik cair Super Aci terhadap hasil jagung manis. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok terdiri dari enam perlakuan dosis pupuk, yaitu A = Tanpa pupuk, B = Pupuk an organik N,P, dan K dosis rekomendasi, C = Pupuk organik cair Super Aci dosis 1 cc / liter air, D = Pupuk organik cair Super Aci dosis 2 cc / liter air, E = Pupuk organik cair Super Aci dosis 3 cc / liter air, dan F = Pupuk organik cair Super Aci dosis 4 cc / liter air. Variabel yang diamati adalah 1) Panjang Tongkol, diukur pada saat panen, 2) Diameter tongkol, diukur pada saat panen, dan 3) Bobot Tongkol, ditimbang pada saat panen. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis varians dan apabila terdapat pengaruh perlakuan dilanjutkan dengan uji BNT 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan pupuk organik cair Super Aci mempengaruhi hasil jagung manis. Pupuk an organik N,P, dan K serta pupuk organik cair Super Aci mempengaruhi hasil jagung manis dimana pupuk an organik N,P, dan K dosis rekomendasi serta pupuk organik cair Super Aci dosis 4 cc / liter air memberikan panjang dan bobot tongkol jagung manis tertinggi. In this study, a flour from corn cob (central core of the maize ear, stage R4) was obtained through three treatments. The three flours obtained were characterized by bromatological analysis, yield, and granulometry. Additional dressing-type oil in water (O/W) emulsions were developed, varying the formulation by incorporating distinct amounts of corn cob flour. The formulations' stability was evaluated over a period of 21 days, determining the particle size, creaming index, coalescence rate, consistency coefficient (k), and flow behavior indices (n). Results have shown significant differences in protein, fat, and carbohydrate content in the flour, depending on the cooking treatment. A good percentage of grinding yield was obtained (98%), in addition to several fractions by granulometry (60, 120, 250 MESH), showing differences in their nutritional content. Finally, the particle size of O/W emulsions developed varied among formulations. The combination of 0.6% of xanthan gum (XG) and corn cob flour showed major stability in average droplet size. No significant differences were observed in the coalescence rate values for the three formulations. Still, significant differences in the creaming index were evidenced in those formulations without XG or corn cob flour. The results regarding the consistency coefficient (k) and flow behavior indices (n) suggest a possible synergy between XG and flour of corn cob for enhancing the viscosity and pseudoplasticity of dressings in a concentration-dependent manner.

This research aims were to find the effect of giving Toffu (Soybean production) Waste and Kayambang with Chicken Manure as The Ameliorant on Growth and Yield of Sweet Corn (Zea mays saccharataSturt) Cultivation in Peat Soil. Then, to find the effect of giving both of Toffu Waste and Kayambang on Growth and Yield of Sweet Corn Cultivation in Peat Soil. Also to find the effect of giving Chicken Manure only on Growth and Yield of Sweet Corn Cultivation in Peat Soil. Moreover, this research design was a field experiment design that was arranged by using Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 2 (two) treatment factors and 3 (three) repetitions. In addition, the factors in this research were: first factor (A) were toffu waste and kayambang with 5 levels, those we:A0 (Without added bytoffuwaste and kayambang), A1 (Toffu waste 5 ton acre-1), A2 (Toffu waste 10 ton acre-1), A3 (kayambang 5 ton acre-1), and A4 (kayambang 10 ton acre-1). While the second factors (B) were chicken manure with 3 levels, those were B0 (without chicken manure), B1 (chicken manure 5 ton acre-1), and B2 (chicken manure 10 ton acre-1). Furthermore, the result of this research showed that the interaction of giving Toffu (Soybean production) Waste and Kayambang with Chicken Manure as The Ameliorant gave the real effect to the ratio of between shoot and root, also the yield of Sweet Corn (Zea mays saccharataSturt), especially in the weight of sweet corn cob with and without its cover, also the diameter of the cob. As the result, the using of toffu waste and kayambang as ameliorant showed high effect to the plant. While the using of chicken manure gave effects to the vegetation growth (plant high, leaves weight, shoot dry weight, roots dried weight) and to the lenght of the sweet corn cob in the harvest time.

Local resources such as Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi (AMF) and manure can be applied to improve the soil properties and the maize productivity. This trial was to determine the effect of Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi and manure on some physical characteristic of Inceptisols and yield of sweet corn. This study was conducted at Babakan village, Ciparay distric, Kabupaten Bandung at 07o04’40,9” S and 107o41’32,6” from May to August 2015. The experiment was arranged as Randomized Block Design with factorial pattern consisted of 2 factors and 3 replications. The first treatments were AMF rate (5, 10, 15 g crop-1) and the second treatments were type of manure (chicken, sheep, and cow) at 30 ton ha-1. The AMF and type of manure could decreased the bulk density, increased soil porosity, and improved weight of the corn cob up to 94 % of its maximum potential.Keywords: Competitiveness, RCA, EPD, IIT, Panel Regression
