Social media nowadays can be used not only for interacting with each other, exchanges ideas, and develop new friends, furthermore it can be used to promote and selling products or services. It is also used for musician for sales and promotion of their CD album to their fans through social media, especially for musicians , who choose to be independent with limited budget and distribution channel. One of the musician who choose to be independent is Dua Drum. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between musician’s social media (Interactivity & Sincerity), the tie that fans may develop via social media (Sense of Closeness & Reciprocity), and purchase legal CD album. This Research is using a quantitative approach with gathering 127 responses through online questionnaire and analyzed using Structural Model Equation (SEM). The result of this research is there are a positive relationship between Interactivity & Sincerity with Sense of Closeness & Reciprocity, and also a positive relationship between Sense of Closeness & Reciprocity with Legal Purchase Intention of CD album. Technological developments have significantly changed the way how a business works, especially the culinary business named Seblak Jeletet Murni, that has located in Jakarta. This business is still relatively new, but consumers continue moldy and this spicy culinary product sales have been continue to increase. This phenomenon is a result of business which has entered the digital era in social media. Marketing of this product is not done intensively by the owner of this business, but consumers who moved to market virally in social media, especially social media video youtube. In this article the author analyzed descriptively about consumer behavior in digital marketing that has affected the sales of the culinary products. The analyzes were performed with case studies and associated in the literature on consumer behavior and digital marketing strategies. This article aims to describe the behavior of consumers in the digital age so that it can be input in determining the marketing strategy culinary efforts forward and be used for thought on the future of consumer research. A finalidade do presente estudo foi analisar as estratégias de marketing digital utilizadas pela empresa desenvolvedora de jogos Hoplon Infortaiment, atuante no segmento gamer brasileiro e no mercado global. Para isso, foi necessário verificar as estratégias de marketing digital da empresa decorrentes de páginas digitais, tecnologias mobile, redes sociais, plataformas de busca, presença digital, e-mail marketing, mobile marketing, social media marketing e social media optimization, search engine marketing e search engine optimization, além do benchmarking como ferramenta de gestão para melhoria de estratégias de marketing digital. Realizou-se um estudo de caso, de base qualitativa exploratória, visando esclarecer o processo de estratégias de marketing digital que ocorrem na empresa. Com base nos dados levantados através de entrevista semiestruturada, verificou-se a importância do marketing digital para as ações da empresa, como forma de entregar valor agregado aos seus usuários. Como resultado, ao utilizar-se da internet como ferramenta de marketing para atingir o público alvo, a empresa mostrou-se eficaz ao adaptar seus conteúdos às características específicas do segmento, firmando o enfoque no uso de plataformas online, páginas digitais e mídias sociais, para aumentar o alcance de publicidade a nível global e atingir a satisfação e manutenção de seus clientes.

With human brands or individual celebrities in fields ranging from sports to politics increasingly using social media platforms to engage with their audience, it is important to understand the key drivers of online engagement. Using Twitter data from the political domain, we show that positive and negative-toned content receive higher engagement, as measured by retweets, than mixed or neutral toned tweets. However, less popular human brands generate higher social media engagement from positive-toned content compared with more popular human brands. Therefore, we recommend that popular human brands (e.g., popular politicians or chief executive officers) keep their content objective rather than emotional. Furthermore, the tone of related brands (i.e., human brands who belong to the same political party) has a strong reinforcement effect; that is, social media engagement is higher when the tone of the focal human brand and related brands are the same and lower when the tones are different. Therefore, we prescribe that human brands actively coordinate their social media content with related brands to generate higher engagement. From human brands’ perspective, our findings recommend a comprehensive social media strategy, which takes into account the tone of content, tone of related brands’ content, and human brands’ popularity.

This chapter examines the internal communication practices of Lenovo, a $34 billion Fortune Global 500 technology company, and the world's second-largest PC vendor. In particular, this study examines how this company uses social media as a method of internal communications in fostering employee engagement. Internal communications is generally led by marketing or PR professionals with expertise in human resources, public relations, marketing, social media, and/or employee engagement. One new way that companies are extending internal communication is by developing the use of their company intranets. Intranets can support an organization by sharing accurate company information on a timely basis. This chapter describes how Lenovo has developed and uses its Lenovo Central intranet to engage employees in its mission and vision.

The technological revolution of the past two decades has changed global higher education, particularly with the impact of social media. There are two primary functions of social media in higher education: instruction and marketing. Social media offers higher education students an array of options to socialize, network, stay informed, and connected, but technology proficiency may not be the same for instructors. As social media use by students becomes more established, educators in higher education pursue methods to parlay expertise in instruction into increased opportunities to advertise and market higher education institutions. Social media's impact of instruction in higher education is undeniable. The next major focus is on social media as a robust recruiting instrument to increase enrollment in global higher education.

Era Revolusi Industri 4.0 membawa dampak positif untuk bangsa terutama bagi para pelaku usaha. Pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi mulai merambah ke bidang digital marketing. Sosial media adalah salah satu bentuk alat digital marketing yang dapat digunakan oleh UMKM dalam memperluas pangsa pasarnya ditengah pandemi covid-19. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk memberikan pendampingan kepada UMKM Kopitan yang berada di Samarinda dalam memperbaharui strategi pemasaran berbasis internet selama pandemi covid-19 berlangsung. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan adalah dengan memanfaatkan sosial media instagram. Instagram dianggap sebagai sosial media yang sangat berpengaruh dalam dunia bisnis saat ini, dengan memanfaatkan fitur instagram ads diharapkan dapat menarik lebih banyak konsumen khususnya yang berada disekitar kota Samarinda untuk berkunjung ke beranda instagram Kopitan. Selain instagram, metode lain yang digunakan yaitu pemanfaatan website qrmonkey dalam pembuatan katalog menu digital dan Go-food serta Google Maps yang digunakan dalam pembaharuan konten untuk menunjang pemasaran produk. Hasil kegiatan kegiatan ini membuat UMKM Kopitan dapat memanfaatkan sosial media secara optimal dalam memasarkan produknya. The industrial revolution 4.0 brought a positive impact on the nation, especially for businesspeople. The utilization of information and communication technology has begun to penetrate the field of digital marketing. Social media is one of digital marketing tools that can be used by MSMEs in expanding their market during the Covid-19 pandemic. Community service activities carried out by the KKN 127 aim to aid Kopitan MSMEs in Samarinda city for updating internet-based marketing strategies during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used is social media Instagram. Instagram is considered a very influential social media in global business, by utilizing the instagram ads future expected to attract more consumers especially those around of Samarinda city to visit Kopitan’s Instagram homepage. In additions to Instagram, another method used are the qrmonkey website for making digital menu catalogs, Go-food and Google Maps which are used for updating content to support product marketing. The implementation of service activities, Kopitan MSME actors will be able to optimally utilize social media for developing their product marketing.

ABSTRAK   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh variabel digital marketing berdasarkan indikator website, search engine marketing, e-mail marketing, dan social media marketing terhadap minat beli konsumen pada marketplace Tokopedia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 40 responden berdasarkan teknik pengambilan sampel purposive sampling. Data primer diperoleh melalui kuesioner dengan skala pengukuran menggunakan skala likert. Teknis analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi linear sederhana. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa variabel digital marketing memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat beli konsumen pada marketplace Tokopedia. Minat beli konsumen dalam penelitian ini dipengaruhi oleh digital marketing sebesar 39,4%, dengan website sebagai indikator yang paling berpengaruh dalam meningkatkan minat beli konsumen. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi teoretis sebagai referensi bagi penelitian selanjutnya yang berkaitan dengan digital marketing dan minat beli konsumen, khususnya pada marketplace. Implikasi manajerial berupa saran bagi manajemen Tokopedia maupun marketplace lainnya agar meningkatkan kualitas website dan media sosial yang digunakan dalam memasarkan produk sehingga meningkatkan minat beli konsumen.
