After much debate, the federal government initiated a selective service system, the “draft,” to supply men for a vastly expanded military. Kentucky was given its quota of men and established a state selective service office directed by Major Henry Rhodes, who reported to state adjutant general Tandy Ellis. Governor Stanley appointed registration boards in the counties to oversee four national registration days, as well as local draft boards to process the men after they were registered. Guided by policies and advice from the director of the US selective service system and the army provost marshal, General Enoch Crowder, Rhodes dealt with many issues and advised the county boards on issues such as nonregistrants, exemptions, and men who ignored draft calls. Because of the tireless efforts of Major Rhodes and the many local board members, the draft mechanism worked well in Kentucky, where few men failed to show up for service.

In part as a result of federal legislation in the 1980s and 1990s, preschoolers with disabilities and their families increasingly have access to augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices. However, to date much is still to be learned about the degree to which various factors impact the many decisions inherent in prescribing AAC devices for these children. This survey of the 58 Part H coordinators throughout the nation queried respondents on services provided; factors considered during evaluation; the role of families in this process; and the consideration of the characteristics of the child, the technology, and the service system. The results are discussed in light of the necessity for sensitivity on the part of professionals to family issues.

However, the uster division is still using masnual methods in relation to customer complaints service to ship operational activities and good such as the many obstacles they are very disturbing the operational activities and complaints are known still onlu limited to the TOP Manager Level. And with the existence of the service system, then the company, especially employees who are facing directly in the field will know the various complaints felt by partner/ customer during the service users who are environment PT. SMS (Short Message Service) Gateway is an SMS-based system that can be developed in various fields and utilizes a web-based programming language. At STMIK XYZ, the delivery of information about the schedule for tuition payments is still by placing announcements / banners in the campus environment and sending letters to parents / guardians. These methods are not optimal because of the limitations of delivery to students and sometimes students do not pay attention to them. This is evident from the many students who are late in making tuition payments. Therefore, a system / application is needed that can provide services that can be accessed by students and parents / guardians to find out the status of their son / daughter's college payment. The design and manufacture of the SMS gateway-based tuition payment service system uses the Waterfall methodology, which is a software development method that begins with analyzing company needs, designing, building applications, to conducting trials. This tuition payment service system sends SMS to students and parents about the schedule of tuition payments and the status of payments that have been made. Information and payment status is sent to the cellphone number of each student and parent / guardian and provides warning information 7 (seven) days before the payment deadline. This application can also generate various types of reports regarding the status of student tuition payments to management. With this application / system, it is hoped that it can assist the management in accelerating the delivery of information about the schedule and status of student tuition payments.

Wedding Organizer is a service that provide services of organizing all the activities relating to the need in a marriage. This business appears because of the opportunities of modern life who want speed, convenience and practicality separately troubleshooting time deficiency urban communities. This research is motivated by the many people who use the wedding organizer to hold the wedding. Therefore, this study tried to see how the service system in UD.Santoso wedding organizer, is already in line with the Business Ethics Islam or not. From this background, the issues to be addressed is how the service system in UD.Santoso wedding organizer as well as whether the service system implemented by UD.Santoso it is in conformity with the Business Ethics Islam or not. The theory used in this study is one of them according to the "Sinambela" which explains what is meant by the service and also by "Napitupulu". Meanwhile, to collect data by interview and secondary data such as internet assistance and journals. The results of this study indicate that the service system which has been run by this UD.Santoso uses the principle of honest and open. This means that between the service provider and tenant services no shift that caused one of the injured party. On the other hand, in terms of Islamic Business Ethics, service system implemented by the UD.Santoso is in conformity with the principles of Islamic Business Ethics.

Normally, death activities are carried out by organizations of death experts who create the impression of cooperation and personal interest. But when an airplane crashes and many people die, the “normal” problems are multiplied not just because of the number of deaths, but also because a complex system of phenomena develops to cope with the many deaths. This paper describes the activities of and the organizations responsible for the handling of the dead after a major airplane crash in which thirty-two people were killed. The author participated as a “death expert” and was able to gather data about death-related crash activities and events. A temporary service system emerged in which the service relationship was brief, intimate, and bureaucratic. The social organization and power structure confirm that organizational status is to some extent based on the character of organizational tasks. The bereaved, however, saw this interrelated set of specific service occupations as if it were one server that seemed uncontrollable and unconcerned about their personal losses.

The business fabric is trying to resolve the many transformations that have occurred in recent decades. Companies are obliged to offer new ways to meet the needs of the market. This situation has led to the creation of new business models that combine both competitiveness and sustainability. Among the most consistent strategies, the product-service system (PSS) stands out. A bibliometric analysis was carried out on 1088 documents during the period 2000–2020, to synthesize the knowledge base on PSS in a global context and analyse future trends. The results obtained have made it possible to identify the evolution of scientific production, the main drivers of this issue, the lines of research developed and their link with EU legislation and reveal some critical gaps in knowledge. The main lines of research describe different aspects of PSS: servitisation, product design, manufacturing, life cycle, circular economy, and sustainable development. This study has identified how its analysis has developed to date and what terms allow us to glimpse new approaches; hence, it is a useful tool for PSS researchers and sponsors who provide financial resources that allow new directions in this research.

Abstract Comprehensive accounts of resource-rational attempts to maximise utility shouldn't ignore the demands of constructing utility representations. This can be onerous when, as in humans, there are many rewarding modalities. Another thing best not ignored is the processing demands of making functional activity out of the many degrees of freedom of a body. The target article is almost silent on both.

Abstract My response to the commentaries focuses on four issues: (1) the diversity both within and between cultures of the many different faces of obligation; (2) the possible evolutionary roots of the sense of obligation, including possible sources that I did not consider; (3) the possible ontogenetic roots of the sense of obligation, including especially children's understanding of groups from a third-party perspective (rather than through participation, as in my account); and (4) the relation between philosophical accounts of normative phenomena in general – which are pitched as not totally empirical – and empirical accounts such as my own. I have tried to distinguish comments that argue for extensions of the theory from those that represent genuine disagreement.
