The article considers perspectives and institutions for innovative nuclear energy subsector – a small and medium-sized nuclear power plants (SNP). The features of the technologies, prospective sites for their introduction, topics for priority research work, as well as mechanisms for the creation of a new sub-sector of nuclear energy are briefly discussed. The advantages and opportunities of such approach to the energy supply of autonomous and isolated consumers located primarily in remote areas and in the Arctic are indicated. Special attention is paid to the problems of technological and operational safety, economic efficiency, and personnel training. The methodological framework provides a brief integrated description of the possibilities provided by dual-use technologies in solving national economic issues; a list of priority research areas to clarify assessments of the financial and economic efficiency of the SNP subsystem within the Russian nuclear energy industry; as well as proposals for personnel training to ensure a trouble-free and efficient Program implementation process.

The article is devoted to one of the threats to the organization's personnel security-the reliability of personnel. The paper considers approaches to determining the essence of personnel reliability and factors that influence it. Methodological tools of the research: economic and mathematical modeling. According to the study, the efficiency and readiness of employees to perform their job duties efficiently have a significant impact not only on the total duration of working time losses and, but also on the economic efficiency of the enterprise as a whole. Based on the research, in order to ensure protection from personnel failures and reduce possible downtime, the article offers a model for predicting personnel reliability. With the help of which you can assess the degree of reliability of personnel and predict cases of loss of working condition of personnel. The proposed model will allow you to develop appropriate management decisions and avoid personnel risks of the organization.

A modern assessment of the technical and economic efficiency of the oil and gas project involves the construction of a specific economic and mathematical calculation model, as well as an analysis of project criteria based on a set of predicted technological indicators for the formations and the field as a whole. An automated system developed for this purpose served as the basis for theoretical and applied research in the field of mathematical modeling and modern digital technologies.

Energy saving in all economic sectors is one of the most important strategic objectives of the 21st century. Energy efficiency programs are usually implemented in parallel with core activities of the company and thereby create an additional burden on limited budget. Cost-effectiveness of such a program is not always obvious so the decision to start can be delayed, and actual result may not be the expected one. In order to ensure economic efficiency the authors offer to use the tool of mathematical modeling to optimize energy efficiency program. The paper also presents the results of existing research analysis on the different approaches towards mathematical modeling of programs, the authors identify four main goals of the simulation. The authors approach is aimed at optimizing energy efficiency program for one or more criteria within certain restrictions.
