In order to explore carbon market regulation mechanism more effectively, based on carbon accumulation model with jump diffusion, this paper studies the carbon price from two perspectives of quantity instrument and price instrument and quantitatively simulates carbon price regulation mechanisms in the light of actual operation of EU carbon market. The results show that quantity instrument and price instrument both have certain effects on carbon market; according to the comparison of the elasticity change of the expected carbon price, comparative advantages of both instruments rely on the price of carbon finance market. Where the carbon price is excessively high, price instrument is superior to quantity instrument; where carbon price is excessively low, quantity instrument is better than price instrument. Therefore, in the case of carbon market regulation based on expected carbon price, if the carbon price is too high, price instrument should prevail; if the carbon price is excessively low, quantity instrument should prevail.

This article focuses on determining causes and factors, which shape the unemployment rate in Ukraine, and the statistical analysis of the regional section. Each state has its own peculiarities of the formation of the labor market, which are caused by resource, geographical, economic-political and other conditions. Under the influence of these features, certain trends are formed, which are traced in the period. According to the results, the dynamics of the regional unemployment rate is proved to be heterogeneous, and such heterogeneity is caused by a number of factors. The investigations led to the conclusion that the main causes of this imbalance are structural disproportions in the national economy, the lack of a mechanism for sustainable business development and stimulation of creating new working places. It is determined that the dynamics of the number of additional jobs in individual regions is positive, but the total number of additional jobs is decreasing each year, and the forecast line shows that, unfortunately, there will be a reduction in the number of new working places in Ukraine in the coming years. Following the results of the analysis, the main directions of improving the regulation of unemployment in Ukraine by extending the state’s activities on increasing and stimulating production are proposed. It is also proved that unemployment rate reduction will be achieved through a series of measures, including optimizing the labour market regulation mechanism by improving the quality of the workforce, which means increasing the level of general education and advanced training, obtaining the skills required. The mechanism encouraging investment and development of entrepreneurial activity plays an important role in the system of employment regulation measures which will generate new and additional employment opportunities.

Project-based transactions (PBTs) are a market mechanism of attracting foreign investments in order to abate greenhouse gas emissions and increase energy efficiency of the country’s enterprises. The article provides a classification and analyzes advantages and drawbacks of PBTs from the point of view of a host country. The main trends and factors determining the dynamics of the PBT market are described. Given that Russia currently lags behind the leaders of the PBT market, an incorporation of a state carbon fund is put forward with an aim of channelling PBTs through it. This paper proposes a form of PBT market regulation by incorporating an option mechanism into the contract structure of a transaction. A comparison of the new form of regulation with the tools that are currently in use in Russia and other countries demonstrates its greater economic efficiency under uncertainty.

Cancer is a major disease with millions of patients diagnosed each year with high mortality around the world. Various studies are still going on to study the further mechanisms and pathways of the cancer cell proliferation. Fucosylation is one of the most important oligosaccharide modifications involved in cancer and inflammation. In cancer development increased core fucosylation by FUT8 play an important role in cell proliferation. Down regulation of FUT8 expression may help cure lung cancer. Therefore the computational study based on the down regulation mechanism of FUT8 was mechanised. Sapota fruit extract, containing 4-Ogalloylchlorogenic acid was used as the inhibitor against FUT-8 as target and docking was performed using in-silico tool, Accelrys Discovery Studio. There were several conformations of the docked result, and conformation 1 showed 80% dock score between the ligand and the target. Further the amino acids of the inhibitor involved in docking were studied using another tool, Ligplot. Thus, in-silico analysis based on drug designing parameters shows that the fruit extract can be studied further using in-vitro techniques to know its pharmacokinetics.
