With the popularization of smart phones and the continuous popularization of NFC near field communication technology, low-power short-range wireless communication technology is widely used in wireless meter reading. It is used for meter reading and compatibility in existing systems. This paper de-signs a wireless meter reading system based on short distance wireless communication technology and NFC. The system is stable, low cost and good versa-tility. The system is based on short distance wireless communication technology and NFC wireless meter reading system.

To the convenience of passenger travel, a kind of electronic bus stop boards system is discussed in this paper, which can be considered as intelligent equipment based on wireless communication technology. The combination between short-range wireless and long-distance communication module, together with the microcontroller composes the electronic bus stop boards system. The electronic bus stop boards system indicates the number of stations away from passengers’ station board on different nearest buses, current time and real-time humiture. The test results showed that the system could realize short-range and long-distance communication function and display the necessary information. With the advantages of high reliability and efficiency at low cost, the electronic bus stop boards system has more practical popularized value to replace traditional intelligent station boards with GPS and GPRS by cheap wireless communication module.

Bluetooth is an important technical standard for short-range and low-power wireless communication. The home automation and entertainment (HAE) systems often make use of Bluetooth technology to link different Bluetooth devices and form Bluetooth networks. The security concerns of the HAE systems are raised due to massive deployment of the Bluetooth devices. The Bluetooth standard mainly depends on the secure simple pairing (SSP) solution to protect the Bluetooth devices. Hence, we investigate the SSP solution according to the Bluetooth standard v5.0. The contributions are threefold. (1) A formal security model is proposed to evaluate SSP’s association models and authenticated link key. (2) We formally analyze two SSP protocols and present the security requirements for basic cryptographic modules in these SSP protocols. (3) We discuss the typical SSP applications in the HAE systems. Our results are useful to not only evaluating and designing the SSP protocols but also enhancing the security of the HAE systems in which the Bluetooth access is available.

The paper analyzes the features, framework,performance indicators and overall hardware platform structure of JN5121 chip which is used in JENNIC Corporation. And the paper researches the characteristics of actual products for project development.

A system with low-cost, low power consumption and wide range of ultrasonic positioning was designed. The node layout is the ultrasonic transmitter vertically installed on the top of the metal can as unknown node, the ultrasonic receivers as beacon nodes, 4 nodes installed on the ceiling and 4 nodes installed on the floor fixed position to receive ultrasonic. Ultrasonic sensor was designed with low power consumption microcontroller Ti MSP430F1611 and RF transceiver chip CC2420. Effective range is 10m, accuracy ± 2cm, launch angle , the system power 200 ~ 400uA/MIPS, 5V lithium battery-powered, Zigbee wireless communication protocol for data transmission. A new algorithm of node location module and Matlab software simulation result were established to achieve 3D seamless positioning of metal can in 20m*2m*2m indoor space.

: A Linear Feedback Shift Register (LFSR) considers a linear function typically an XOR operation of the previous state as an input to the current state. This paper describes in detail the recent Wireless Communication Systems (WCS) and techniques related to LFSR. Cryptographic methods and reconfigurable computing are two different applications used in the proposed shift register with improved speed and decreased power consumption. Comparing with the existing individual applications, the proposed shift register obtained >15 to <=45% of decreased power consumption with 30% of reduced coverage area. Hence this proposed low power high speed LFSR design suits for various low power high speed applications, for example wireless communication. The entire design architecture is simulated and verified in VHDL language. To synthesis a standard cell library of 0.7um CMOS is used. A custom design tool has been developed for measuring the power. From the results, it is obtained that the cryptographic efficiency is improved regarding time and complexity comparing with the existing algorithms. Hence, the proposed LFSR architecture can be used for any wireless applications due to parallel processing, multiple access and cryptographic methods.
