With the development of smart power distribution technology in the future, a large range of power supply load (such as distributed wind power generation) will appear on the power receiving end. When distributed wind power is connected to the power grid on a large scale, it will have a certain impact on the safe and stable operation of the power grid. However, if the wind power output characteristics can be analyzed and the wind power output is properly regulated, the one-way flow of power from the distribution network to the user side will be broken, so that the future "network-load" has dual interaction characteristics based on response and substantial power exchange.

The average wind power in China increases year by year, obviously wind power output volatility and uncertainty that makes the large-scale wind power grid to bring a lot of problem, such as peaking and frequency modulation, voltage regulator, stability, power quality problems, etc. The power structure in China is given priority with coal-fired thermal power, peaking power is relatively scarce. Lack of wind power on a large scale grid has intensified. The paper briefly analyzes the power grid network frame structure, load and power characteristics in Gansu province. Considering the measured data in 2014 of Gansu power network, intuitive shows Gansu power grid fluctuation characteristics of wind power output in different period of time, discussed the influence of wind power grid peak shaving capability. It improving the large-scale wind power access after the measures of Gansu power grid peak shaving capability.

With the development of national economy, the demand for electricity from all walks of life has been gradually increased. People also put forward higher requests to the reliability of power supply. Feeder automation can quickly cut off the faulty line to ensure the safe and stable operation of the line. Under the sustainable development of modern society, people attach a great importance to all aspects of smart power grid construction, which is also significant for the smart grid distribution work. To ensure the reliable and high-quality power supply environment, the scientific and reasonable design and planning of power distribution automation system shall pay attention to arranging power distribution, and the appropriate feeder automation operation mode shall be selected. Only in this way can we ensure that the power outage is short once a fault happening in power grid system. At the same time, the line loss rate can be reduced, the efficiency of power supply can be raised, and issues in power equipment investment can be effectively treated. This paper mainly discusses the design and implementation of feeder automation, puts forward some practical application measures, and provides reference for the stable operation of feeder automation.

As the proportion of new energy sources such as wind power and photovoltaics in the power system continues to increase, their volatility and intermittentness have also brought new challenges to the stable operation of the power grid. The impact of the decline in power quality caused by a large number of wind power grids has become increasingly significant. This article analyzes and summarizes the development, status quo of wind power and the current problems of a large number of wind power grid connections. First, it briefly describes the history of wind power and the current development of wind power, and uses MATLAB to establish models of variable speed wind turbines connected to the grid. The models are used to analyze the output characteristics of wind turbines under normal operating conditions and faulty operating conditions. Finally, the impact of a large number of wind power grids on the power system is studied.

With the rapid increase in the proportion of the installed wind power capacity in the total grid capacity, the state has put forward higher and higher requirements for wind power integration into the grid, among which the most difficult requirement is the zero-voltage ride through (ZVRT) capability of the wind turbine. When the voltage drops deeply, a series of transient processes, such as serious overvoltage, overcurrent, or speed rise, will occur in the motor, which will seriously endanger the safe operation of the wind turbine itself and its control system, and cause large-scale off-grid accident of wind generator. Therefore, it is of great significance to improve the uninterrupted operation ability of the wind turbine. Doubly fed induction generator (DFIG) can achieve the best wind energy tracking control in a wide range of wind speed and has the advantage of flexible power regulation. It is widely used at present, but it is sensitive to the grid voltage. In the current study, the DFIG is taken as the research object. The transient process of the DFIG during a fault is analyzed in detail. The mechanism of the rotor overcurrent and DC bus overvoltage of the DFIG during fault is studied. Additionally, the simulation model is built in DIgSILENT. The active crowbar hardware protection circuit is put into the rotor side of the wind turbine, and the extended state observer and terminal sliding mode control are added to the grid side converter control. Through the cooperative control technology, the rotor overcurrent and DC bus overvoltage can be suppressed to realize the zero-voltage ride-through of the doubly fed wind turbine, and ensure the safe and stable operation of the wind farm. Finally, the simulation results are presented to verify the theoretical analysis and the proposed control strategy.
