The new challenge for Indonesian food security in the future depends on the productivity of rice on the sub-optimal land, including freshwater swampland. It is a specific and unique characteristic of rice culture. This study aims to analyze opportunities for innovating technology applied to improve the availability of nutrients based on the existing nutrient in freshwater swampland. The soil survey method by purposive and random samplings used to the composite soil sampling in the two sub-district in Banyuasin District, South Sumatera Province, then analyzed in the laboratory. Data collected analysis through descriptive statistics. The results showed that Rice cultivation in the freshwater swampland was a profitable venture. Unavailability of P nutrients for rice plants was the main problem on acidic soil (pH 3.32-4.12), caused by increased the solubility of Fe and Al. Hence the adoption of farmers to various technological innovations such as liming, fertilization, and amelioration to increase soil pH is the key to success in rice culture in the freshwater swampland besides growing tolerant varieties.

This research was conducted in the planting area of pineapple (Ananas comosus) PT. GGP Terbanggi Besar Central Lampung indicated attacked by pests simphylid in March 2014 until May 2014. Analysis of soil physical properties carried out in the Laboratory of Soil Science, Department of Agrotechnology, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Lampung. The method used in this study is a survey method. Soil sampling conducted at three locations indicated simphylid pests. Soil sampling done at some point and some depth. Results from this research that pest symphilid most numerous in one location with a number of acquisition 172 tail where the location of the physical properties of good land which the density value of the content is low, the total pore low, macropores and high hardness low ground , allowing sinphylid be able to live and thrive. While at the location of two and three with the condition density value of the content is high, the total pore high, macropores low, and violence high soil pests simphylid not so much discovered as simphylid can not multiply and survive on the physical condition of poor soil Keywords: Pineapple, Symphilid, and physical properties of soil

The research objective was to determine the effect of timeliness, convenience, and comfort on the loyalty of Airport Railink service users by mediating the satisfaction of airport train passengers. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method and data analysis used descriptive statistics and inferential statistics path analysis. The sample is 100 passengers taken by convenience sampling. The results showed that effect to passenger satisfaction, the results showed that timeliness has a direct effect on passenger satisfaction, ease has a direct effect on passenger satisfaction and convenience has a direct effect on passenger satisfaction. Effect to passenger loyalty, timeliness has a direct effect on passenger loyalty, ease has a direct effect on passenger loyalty, convenience has a direct effect on passenger loyalty and passenger satisfaction has a direct effect on passenger loyalty. Whereas, indirect effect to passenger loyalty, timeliness has an indirect effect on loyalty by mediating passenger satisfaction. Also, ease has an indirect effect on passenger loyalty by mediating passenger satisfaction, and service convenience affects passenger loyalty by mediating passenger satisfaction. The key finding of this research is the management of Railink as an airport train operator issued a specific policy to support the improvement of the Timeliness of airport train services so that passenger satisfaction increases which then has implications for passenger loyalty.

Caricature-plant cultivation is often damaged due to the attack of Doleschallia bisaltide larvae. High reproduction ability of D. bisaltide is a serious problem that need to be managed, therefore it will not inflict a financial losses. This study was aimed to determine the fluctuation of D. bisaltide larval population in the caricature-plant plantation in Kalisoro, Tawangmangu. The observations were carried out with a survey method on five observation plots for seven months from March to September 2018. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics and the Spearman rank correlation coefficient test. The results showed that the population structure was changed during the observations with the highest larval population in May. The results of Spearman rank correlation coefficient test showed significant and positive correlation between third, fourth, and fifth instars larvae with the rainfall. The control of D. bisaltide can not only depend on the presence of natural enemies, therefore control interventions were needed especially at a suitable time and environment whne the population increased.

The purpose of this study was to describe how patients with coronary artery disease, who have had one or more cardiac interventions, were maintaining their planned lifestyle adaptations at four months after the intervention. Furthermore, the study aimed to develop guidelines to further assist patients in maintaining lifestyle adaptations. A descriptive study was undertaken using the survey method. The population consisted of 65 participants (42 males, 23 females) from five private hospitals in Gauteng. The questions for a questionnaire were derived from a conceptual framework. The participants first completed the questionnaire immediately before they were discharged, and again over the telephone four months after the intervention. Descriptive statistics were used to analyse the data obtained. The results showed that patients suffering from coronary artery disease do adapt their lifestyle after interventions, but most patients find it problematic to stop smoking. It is essential for patients with coronary artery disease to maintain lifestyle adaptations to ensure further health and prevention of recurrence of the same problems. These adaptations should be a lifelong commitment. ’n Vraelys is vanuit ’n konseptuele raamwerk saamgestel. Hierdie aanpassings moet ’n lewenslange verbintenis wees.
