Atisara (Diarrhea) is most commonly encountered disease of the present era, due to unhealthy and irregular habits. Atisara (Diarrhea) finds a place as important disease in individual’s life as everyone suffers from it at least once in life time. Bhuvaneshwara rasa is a unique herbo-mineral formulation explained in Bhaishajya ratnavali indicated for all kinds of diarrhea cases. Bhuvaneshwara rasa is a potent formulation having Saindhava, Triphala, Yamani, Bilva peshika and Gruhadhooma. Materials and methods: Raw materials were screened and collected and the formulation selected for the present study Bhuvaneshwara rasa was prepared accordingly. Anti-diarrheal activity of Bhuvaneshwara rasa was evaluated experimentally in albino rats. Experimental study was conducted in 3 groups of animals for anti-diarrheal study each. Anti-diarrheal study was done by castor oil induced diarrhoea and castor oil induced enter-pooling method. Bhuvaneshwara rasa (test drug) and Loperamide are effective in controlling diarrheal episodes. Bhuvaneshwara rasa has shown significant Anti-diarrheal activity in both Castor oil -induced diarrhea and castor oil induced enteropooling, test drug effective than control. Result: Bhuvaneshwara rasa was prepared according to SOP. Test drug group have shown effect experimentally. Conclusion: Bhuvaneshwara rasa is a good anti-diarrheal drug. It can be administered in all types of Atisara.

The article describes the effiency of polymer-modified road bitumen regeneration with two types of rejuvenators. Two alternative rejuvenators have been selected aromatic oil Nygen 910 and soft road bitumen V12000. PMB 45/80-55 bitumen, which is used in the upper and lower layers of asphalt pavement, was investigated. During the life time of the asphalt pvement, due to the effects of solar UV radiation, temperature and oxygen, of all the layers of the structure asphalt top layer reaches the highest degree of aging. Short-term and long-term aging were performed to simulate the aging of the bitmen under laboratory conditions. To determine the optimal amount of rejuvenator experiments were performed with 8%, 10% ir 14% rejuvenator by bitumen mass. The effect of rejuvenators were evaluated by studying the main physical properties of bitumen: penetration and softening temperature. Ina n experimental study, aromatic oil was found to be more than 2.5 times more effective than soft bitumen.

This paper presents the experimental results of a qualitative study concerning the physical phenomena present in a cold leg and the downcomer of a reactor pressure vessel during a safety injection scenario. This project contributes to the plant life time project. Single-phase and two-phase scenarios have been studied according to the thermal-hydraulic behavior obtained by system codes. This paper shows different physical phenomena visualisations concerning the behavior of the fluid flow at different location in downcomer and in cold leg and physical phenomena in a uncovered cold leg.

Abstract Photo-emissive properties including steady-state and transient photoluminescence (PL) spectroscopy are studied for blinding and coaxial nanowires based PPV and PVK. PL data or average life time of excitons depending exclusively of the nanostructures architecture. Furthermore, the interpretation of PL spectra requires invoking the migration and the diffusion length of photo-generated exciton from luminophores to other luminophores or from the core to the shell. This process is able to explain the experimental decay of PL in the nano-second time scale. The evidence of Forster energy transfer (FET) and charge transfer (CT) has been investigated in the synthesis nanostructures. An enhancement and amplification PPV luminophore emission by the presence of PVK luminophore in blinding or coaxial nanowires due to energy transfer process.

The Cu-Be alloys are widely used as the electron multiplier dynodes after the adequate activation process. But the structures and compositions of the elements on the activated surfaces were not studied clearly. The Cu-Be alloys are heated in the oxygen atmosphere in the usual activation techniques. The activation conditions, e.g. temperature and O2 pressure, affect strongly the secondary electron yield and life time of dynodes. In the present paper, the activated Cu-Be dynode surfaces at each condition are investigated with Scanning Auger Microanalyzer (SAM) (primary beam diameter: 3μmϕ) and SEM. The commercial Cu-Be(2%) alloys were polished with Cr2O3 powder, rinsed in the distilled water and set in the vacuum furnance. Two typical activation condition, i.e. activation temperature 730°C and 810°C in 5x10-3 Torr O2 pressure were chosen since the formation mechanism of the BeO film on the Cu-Be alloys was guessed to be very different at each temperature from the results of the secondary electron emission measurements.

The tilted beam illumination method is used to improve the resolution comparing with the axial illumination mode. Using this advantage, a restoration method of several tilted beam images covering the full azimuthal range was proposed by Saxton, and experimentally examined. To make this technique more reliable it seems that some practical problems still remain. In this report the restoration was attempted and the problems were considered. In our study, four problems were pointed out for the experiment of the restoration. (1) Accurate beam tilt adjustment to fit the incident beam to the coma-free axis for the symmetrical beam tilting over the full azimuthal range. (2) Accurate measurements of the optical parameters which are necessary to design the restoration filter. Even if the spherical aberration coefficient Cs is known with accuracy and the axial astigmatism is sufficiently compensated, at least the defocus value must be measured. (3) Accurate alignment of the tilt-azimuth series images.
