This paper is intended to discuss business spirituality in the Muslim community which gives a significant contribution in building the existence of the ethics of Muslim business in the global market. The Muslim community is a strength of business that is taken into account because of the breadth of the number, as well as its increase in terms of growth. The approach used is a qualitative approach by revealing secondary data that has been previously released by other authors and submitted in the form of narrative articles. This paper provides a setting for the recognition of "Muslim hubs" as the development of new insights in Muslim business literacy in creating the meaning of collaboration between the business entities involved. A concept map to offer more specific characteristics, motivations, and market potential of Muslim business businesses.

The purpose of this study was to describe the eventual regency government readiness in implementing SAP accrual. The indicators used to assess the readiness include commitment/ integrity, human resources, facilities, and information systems. In addition this study will also describe the conditions and obstacles that occur during the preparation period and will provide an overview of SAP's strategy of accelerating the implementation of accrual through internal and external analysis. This study used a qualitative approach with quantitative tools as a medium for describing readiness. The data used is primary data obtained from observations, interviews and questionnaires. The results of this study explains that when viewed in terms of commitment, human resources, facilities, and information systems the regency government can be categorized quite ready in the analysis in general. This indicates that most on education still has the ability and capacity to implement accrual-based SA . based on the percentage of readiness on education , 50 % on education categorized as “less”, while the “good” only 3.8 % remaining in the category of “pretty” by 46.2 %. The analysis of each variable is also not much different, of the four variables used commitment, human resources, and infrastructure criteria entered into the “pretty” and only variables or indicators of system information that has the criteria of “good”. The results of the road map analysis explaining that the regency government has some weaknesses and obstacles in implementing SAP accrual. The weaknesses include the lack of qualified human resources and infrastructure as well as less than the maximum support from the leadership on education. Strategies that can be used by the regency government as a form of accelerated accrual of SAP implementation, namely the aggressive strategy. Motivated by the diverse uses of concept maps in teaching and educational research, we have developed a systematic approach to their structural analysis. The basis for our method is a unique topological normalisation procedure whereby a concept map is first stripped of its content and subsequently geometrically re-arranged into a standardised layout as a maximally balanced tree following set rules. This enables a quantitative analysis of the normalised maps to read off basic structural parameters: numbers of concepts and links, diameter, in- and ex-radius and degree sequence and subsequently calculate higher parameters: cross-linkage, balance and dimension. Using these parameters, we define characteristic global morphologies: ‘Disconnected’, ‘Imbalanced’, ‘Broad’, ‘Deep’ and ‘Interconnected’ in the normalised map structure. Our proposed systematic approach to concept-map analysis combining topological normalisation, determination of structural parameters and global morphological classification is a standardised, easily applicable and reliable framework for making the inherent structure of a concept map tangible. It overcomes some of the subjectivity inherent in analysing and interpreting maps in their original form while also avoiding the pitfalls of an atomistic analysis often accompanying quantitative concept-map analysis schemes. Our framework can be combined and cross-compared with a content analysis to obtain a coherent view of the two key elements of a concept map: structure and content. The informed structural analysis may form the starting point for interpreting the underlying knowledge structures and pedagogical meanings.

In South Africa’s reception classes (Grade R), the harsh reality is that the sector is beset by serious challenges. As part of a broader professional development study, this article focuses on the actual operations of Grade R educators as they conduct mathematics lessons using video technology to record their teaching. An observation tool adapted from Clements and Sarama is used to determine the quality of mathematics instruction, and to provide recommendations for bridging the gaps observed. Fourteen Grade R classes were video-recorded as part of the bigger project, with the educators themselves selecting three lessons per class to showcase their practices. For this article, the authors employed a qualitative approach guided by Vygotsky’s conceptual development of knowledge theory. A thematic analysis was conducted, mediated by the lesson observation instrument. The findings indicate that Grade R educators lack structure and purpose in their instructional activities. Even when sound content knowledge is demonstrated, the instruction tends to be teacher-centred.

ABSTRACTThis article presents the results of an investigation that sought to understand the role from Conceptual Mapping as a teaching resource facilitator of meaningful learning of scientific concepts, able to promote understanding of the topic nutrition. The focus of the investigation was students from 7th grade (8th scholar year) of Elementary Education of a FullTime Public School, located in Guarulhos - SP. The methodology used for the collection and processing of data was based on qualitative and quantitative approaches. Based on the quantitative approach, we designed a quasi-experimental research. The performance of both groups is displayed in a descriptive and analytical study. In a qualitative approach, the Concept Map produced during the intervention passed through an interactive interpretation, from the structuring and shared by the student during his presentation meanings. The results showed, through the evolution of the grades that the Concept Map made no difference in learning in the experimental group. However, the difference was evidenced through the skills shown by the indicators of learning and the meanings assigned and shared by Concept Maps.RESUMOO artigo apresenta resultados parciais de uma investigação que objetivou compreender a atuação do Mapa Conceitual como recurso didático facilitador da aprendizagem significativa de conceitos científicos, com ênfase no tema nutrição. Contacto principal: [email protected]

Integration of the lean and resilience paradigms has attracted increasing attention among scientists and practitioners. In an interconnected world, the need to be resilient involves increased readiness to deal with risks from both outside and inside an enterprise, and to be lean involves maximizing value while minimizing waste. The combination of these requirements has been the catalyst for a move towards lean–resilience operations. To better understand this trend, which seeks to help firms retain a competitive position and survive disruptions, this paper provides a systematic literature review of 53 articles identified through the C-I-M-O (context-intervention-mechanism-outcome) framework and examines them using descriptive and content analysis. The results trace the growth of lean–resilience research from its infancy to its current advanced state. This paper also identifies for the first time the lack of structured research on the number and categories of implemented practices and their associated benefits. To address this deficiency, a concept map is developed to provide guidance on the topic, identify gaps and inconsistencies in the literature, understand the state of development and suggest future research directions. The results are used to identify four dominant streams: application, compatibility, integration, and impact assessment in the context of the supply chain, conceptual development and operational research of various organizational and industry sectors. Further topics for investigation are recommended in the form of research questions. The proposed concept map is intended to assist researchers and practitioners to develop knowledge about the integration of lean and resilience paradigms in new contexts and formulate more effective deployment strategies.

This research aims to describe the thinking process of students in creating concept maps based on visual, auditory and kinesthetic learning styles. This research is descriptive research with qualitative approach. The subjects consisted of 3 students based on the learning style questionnaire analysis. Data collection techniques are job-based interviews. The results showed that there are differences in students' thinking processes in creating concept maps. The three subjects perform the stage of creating a concept map completely but there are differences on how to make it. This happens because subjects with an auditory learning style can’t make a cross link so the resulting concept maps are different. The results of this research can be used as an alternative in developing learning by concept map method.
