This study aims to (1) describe the description of the legend of Buka Luwur the origins of Dukuh Pantaran, and (2) describe the potential of the legend of Buka Luwur the origins of Dukuh Pantaran as a medium for character education. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The data in this study are words, phrases, clauses, and sentences that contain the value of character education in the legend of Buka Luwur the Origin of Dukuh Pantaran. Data sources consist of primary and secondary. Data collection techniques using observation, interview, recording, recording, and document analysis techniques. The data validation used source triangulation. Data analysis techniques with interactive models. The results of this research are (1) the legend of Buka Luwur The origin of the Pantaran Hamlet is a type of folklore legend because it tells the origin of the name Dukuh Pantaran; and (2) the legend of Buka Luwur the origins of Dukuh Pantaran contain fourteen values ​​of character education, namely: religious, honest, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, curiosity, respect for achievement, friendly/communicative, love, peaceful, environmental care, social care, and responsibility. With these fourteen values, the legend of Buka Luwur the origins of Dukuh Pantaran has the potential as a character education medium that needs to be instilled in students.

This study aims to describe the values of character education contained in the short story "Ambe Masih Sakit" by Emil Amir. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The subject of the research is the speech or dialogue that comes from the actors in the short story "Ambe Masih Sakit" by Emil Amir which was quoted from the Kompas newspaper published on March 2012. The data that was the target of the study were obtained using listening and note-taking techniques. The results of the study show that the values of character education include honesty, tolerance, discipline, hard work, independence, democracy, curiosity, friendly/communicative, social care, responsibility, and religion. This is evidenced by the speech or dialogue that describes the figure of a man named Upta who grows and develops in living his freedom in living together with other people. It is illustrated that Upta respects differences in religion, ethnicity, ethnicity, opinions, attitudes and actions of people who are different from himself. Upta is described as a man who works hard and is responsible for his family

<em>This article explores the values of character education for early children in the film </em>Adit &amp; Sopo Jarwo<em>. This qualitative descriptive study analyzes the contents of the four episodes that were randomly selected. The study found that the values of character education for early children based on four episodes of the film </em>Adit &amp; Sopo Jarwo<em> are religious, hard working, independent, friendly and communicative, honest, social care, creative, discipline, honoring of achievement, and responsibility.</em>

The purpose of this study was to determine character education in the Gigana (Digital Disaster Mitigation) Comic Earthquake. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study. This research uses the Abrams model pragmatic theory, which is the study of language usage that is associated with the context of its use. Data collection techniques namely refer, read, and note. Data analysis using Miles and Huberman consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. The results of the study show that Comics as reading can benefit readers, namely children. Character education can be found in children's reading, one of them through comics. In the comic titled Comics Gigana (Digital Disaster Mitigation) Earthquakes by Siti Anafiah and Shanta Rezkita found 6 character values, namely peace, independence, responsibility, peace, environmental care, and social care. Such character education can be found through characters, characterizations, plot, settings, and mandates in the story.

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to describe the values of character education for Drama course. It is a qualitative descriptive  study.  The  data  were obtained from the play entitled Opera Kecoa¸ written by N.Riantiarno. by looking at the settings, the characters, the plots and some relevant documents. The technique used to collect the data was by document analysis technique. As one form of literary work, Opera Kecoa drama script contains character education values. The values of character education in this drama script are shown through characterizations and events in each chapter. Based on the results of the analysis found ten character education values contained in the drama  Opera Kecoa, these values include: social care, tolerance, hard work, discipline, peace,patriotism, friendly, independent, creative, and responsibility. By reason of the values of these characters, the Opera Kecoa drama script can be used as a medium of learning in the college literature.  Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang terdapat pada sebuah naskah drama. Penelitian  ini menggunakan metode deskriptif  kualitatif dengan subjek penelitiannya adalah naskah drama Opera Kecoa karya N.Riantiarno. Sumber data diperoleh dari tempat dan peristiwa, informan, naskah drama, dan dokumen. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik analisis dokumen. Sebagai salah satu bentuk karya sastra, naskah drama Opera Kecoa memuat nilai-nilai  pendidikan  karakter. Nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dalam naskah drama  ini ditampilkan melalui penokohan dan alur peristiwa pada setiap babaknya. Berdasarkan hasil analisis maka ditemukan sepuluh nilai pendidikan karakter yang terdapat dalam naskah drama Opera Kecoa, nilai-nilai tersebut antara lain: peduli sosial, toleransi, kerja keras, disiplin, cinta damai, cinta tanah air, bersahabat, mandiri, kreatif, dan tanggung jawab. Dengan alasan adanya nilai-nilai karakter tersebut maka naskah drama Opera Kecoa dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu media pembelajaran sastra di perguruan tinggi.

Tulisan ini menjelaskan konsep khalifah fil’ardi sebagai wakil Tuhan dalam melestarikan alam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menanamkan kesadaran energi yang berasal dari sumber daya alam. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kepustakaan (Library Research) dan penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan analisis dan data yang penulis teliti, penulis menyimpulkan bahwa pengetahuan yang komprehensif tentang kesadaran energi menjadi dasar mengenai khalifah fil’ardi. Mewujudkan kesadaran energi di tengah masyarakat menjadi konsep termutakhir dari “khalifah fil ‘ardi” This paper describes the concept of khalifah fil’ardi as representatives of God in conserving nature. This study aims to instill awareness of energy derived from natural resources. This type of research is the research library (Library Research) and this research is a qualitative descriptive study. Based on the analysis and the data that I researched, the author concludes that a comprehensive knowledge about energy awareness is the basis of the khalifah fil’ardi. Realizing energy awareness in society becomes the latest concept of khalifah fil’ardi.

At present the development of technology and information has reached a very rapid level. Technology and information are used as a service media in the government environment which is also known as e-Government, one of which is the service of public information disclosure. The central government through Law No. 14 of 2008 concerning Openness of Public Information, encourages all Public Agencies including the Sleman Regency Government to make transparency in the administration of the state by utilizing information technology. This research is a qualitative descriptive study which aims to describe the reality that occurs. The object of research in this study is the official website of the Information and Documentation Management Officer (PPID) of Sleman Regency with the domain https://ppid.slemankab.go.id then the Sleman Regency Communication and Informatics Office as the organizer of the public information disclosure program. The data collection technique itself is carried out by means of interviews, documentation studies, and field observations (observations). After collecting and presenting data, then the data will be reduced first then analyzed and concluded. From the results of the study, in general the researchers concluded that the Sleman Regency PPID website had reached the level of qualification to become a quality website, however there were still some improvements and evaluations that had to be done by the relevant agencies in order to be better, namely (i) the website was still being assessed as a one-way service (ii) There are still many OPDs that are not ready to implement PPID (iii) data and information are still not updated (iv) lack of responsiveness of services in requests for information.

Weight stigmatization is related to emotional and psychological distress including low self-esteem, body image dissatisfaction, depression, and anxiety; all linked with suboptimal breastfeeding outcomes. This qualitative descriptive study explored postpartum individuals’ recalled experiences of weight stigma during interactions with perinatal healthcare professionals and its perceived influence on their breastfeeding experiences. Semi-structured phone interviews were conducted with (n= 18) participants. Three themes emerged: (1) “Size Doesn’t Matter: They Looked Beyond the Scale,” (2) “My Self-Confidence and Desire to Breastfeed is More Important than Weight,” and (3) “I Was on My Own”— Limited Social Support not Weight Stigma Influenced Breastfeeding.
