This study aims to (1) describe the description of the legend of Buka Luwur the origins of Dukuh Pantaran, and (2) describe the potential of the legend of Buka Luwur the origins of Dukuh Pantaran as a medium for character education. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The data in this study are words, phrases, clauses, and sentences that contain the value of character education in the legend of Buka Luwur the Origin of Dukuh Pantaran. Data sources consist of primary and secondary. Data collection techniques using observation, interview, recording, recording, and document analysis techniques. The data validation used source triangulation. Data analysis techniques with interactive models. The results of this research are (1) the legend of Buka Luwur The origin of the Pantaran Hamlet is a type of folklore legend because it tells the origin of the name Dukuh Pantaran; and (2) the legend of Buka Luwur the origins of Dukuh Pantaran contain fourteen values ​​of character education, namely: religious, honest, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, curiosity, respect for achievement, friendly/communicative, love, peaceful, environmental care, social care, and responsibility. With these fourteen values, the legend of Buka Luwur the origins of Dukuh Pantaran has the potential as a character education medium that needs to be instilled in students.

The purpose of this study was to determine character education in the Gigana (Digital Disaster Mitigation) Comic Earthquake. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive study. This research uses the Abrams model pragmatic theory, which is the study of language usage that is associated with the context of its use. Data collection techniques namely refer, read, and note. Data analysis using Miles and Huberman consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. The results of the study show that Comics as reading can benefit readers, namely children. Character education can be found in children's reading, one of them through comics. In the comic titled Comics Gigana (Digital Disaster Mitigation) Earthquakes by Siti Anafiah and Shanta Rezkita found 6 character values, namely peace, independence, responsibility, peace, environmental care, and social care. Such character education can be found through characters, characterizations, plot, settings, and mandates in the story.

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to describe the values of character education for Drama course. It is a qualitative descriptive  study.  The  data  were obtained from the play entitled Opera Kecoa¸ written by N.Riantiarno. by looking at the settings, the characters, the plots and some relevant documents. The technique used to collect the data was by document analysis technique. As one form of literary work, Opera Kecoa drama script contains character education values. The values of character education in this drama script are shown through characterizations and events in each chapter. Based on the results of the analysis found ten character education values contained in the drama  Opera Kecoa, these values include: social care, tolerance, hard work, discipline, peace,patriotism, friendly, independent, creative, and responsibility. By reason of the values of these characters, the Opera Kecoa drama script can be used as a medium of learning in the college literature.  Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang terdapat pada sebuah naskah drama. Penelitian  ini menggunakan metode deskriptif  kualitatif dengan subjek penelitiannya adalah naskah drama Opera Kecoa karya N.Riantiarno. Sumber data diperoleh dari tempat dan peristiwa, informan, naskah drama, dan dokumen. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik analisis dokumen. Sebagai salah satu bentuk karya sastra, naskah drama Opera Kecoa memuat nilai-nilai  pendidikan  karakter. Nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dalam naskah drama  ini ditampilkan melalui penokohan dan alur peristiwa pada setiap babaknya. Berdasarkan hasil analisis maka ditemukan sepuluh nilai pendidikan karakter yang terdapat dalam naskah drama Opera Kecoa, nilai-nilai tersebut antara lain: peduli sosial, toleransi, kerja keras, disiplin, cinta damai, cinta tanah air, bersahabat, mandiri, kreatif, dan tanggung jawab. Dengan alasan adanya nilai-nilai karakter tersebut maka naskah drama Opera Kecoa dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu media pembelajaran sastra di perguruan tinggi.

<em>This research aims to describe and explain the role of sarcasm, the value of character education in the collection of poetry Mencari Tanah Lapang by Wiji Thukul, and the relevance the role of sarcasm and the value of character education in the collection of poetry Mencari Tanah Lapang by Wiji Thukul on the teaching of literature in universities. Technique of subject sampling is purposive sampling. Data collection techniques used are document analysis and interviews. The validity of data in this study is done by using critical discourse analysis techniques. The results of this research are: (1) there are 62 sarcasm in the collection of poetry Mencari Tanah Lapang that serve as satirical of rules, satire of politics, satire of development, satire of education, satire of social inequality, and satire world health; (2)  the value of character education contained in the collection of poetry Mencari Tanah Lapang is religious values, honesty, tolerance, hard work, democracy, reading, and social care;(3) the role of sarcasm majors and the value of character education contained in the collection of poetry Mencari Tanah Lapang can be used as a literary teaching material with the subject of poetry in the study program of Indonesian literature.</em>

ABSTRACT Environmental care character for students is important to be formed, because the environment will affect the existence and benefit of humans. The character Building is through character education at school. Islamic junior high school Diniyyah Al-Azhar Muara Bungo is an educational institution that seeks to familiarize students with caring for the environment. The purpose of this research is to explain students environmental care character building at Islamic Junior High School Diniyyah Al-Azhar Muara Bungo. This study uses a qualitative method. The research informants were selected by purposive sampling and numbered 14 people. Technique of checking the validity of data by data triangulation. Data analysis techniques with interactive models Miles and Huberman. This study aims to determine the steps of character education through the Al Qur`an SDIT Salsabila 8 Sleman tahfidz program, to identify the character values of Salsabila 8 Sleman SDIT students through the Al Quran tahfidz program, and to determine the evaluation of character education through the Al Quran tahfidz program. This study uses a qualitative descriptive study with data triagulation analysis techniques. To obtain information the researchers used interview, observation and documentation techniques with the subject of the teacher and the principal. Based on the results obtained: Steps in character education through learning the Koran tahfidz at SDIT Salsabila; 1) Preparing the teaching staff, 2) mapping the levels of students, 3) Grouping, 4) Making a schedule, 5) implementation. Implementation of character values that are applied through learning Tahfidz Al Qur'an at SDIT Salsabila 8 Sleman there are 18 characters, but there are 7 dominant character values that appear including: 1) Religion, 2) honest, 3) hard work, 4) fond of reading, 5) creative, 6) responsible, and 7) discipline. Evaluation of character learning through Al Quran tahfidz education at SDIT Salsabila 8 Sleman has been going well where students will be evaluated daily and at the end of the semester by examiners and controlled through achievement books.

Artikel ini akan membahas nilai pendidikan pantun besaot di cyberspace. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, dengan datasekunder  berupa pantun yang bersumber dari laman facebook. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian menggunakan teknik analisis dokumen. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian menggunakan concent analyis (analisis isi) dengan mengungkap, memahami, dan menangkap pesan karya sastra.  Berdasarkan hasil kajian terhadap 6 pantun besaot yang di dapat di laman facebook dalam grup “Bangka Yoh” yang diunggah oleh akun yang bernama Budi Js, diketahui bahwa pantun besaot memiliki nilai pendidikan sebagai berikut: (1) nilai pendidikan religi, (2) nilai pendidikan moral, (3) nilai pendidikan sosial dan (4) nilai pendidikan budaya.Katakunci: pantun, nilai pendidikan, facebookAbstract:This article will discuss the value of pantun besaot education in cyberspace. Data analysis techniques in research use content analysis (content analysis) by revealing, understanding, and capturing messages of literary works. Based on the results of a study of 6 besaot rhymes obtained on the Facebook page in the "Bangka Yoh" group uploaded by an account named Budi Js, it is known that the besaot pantun has the following educational values: (1) the value of religious education, (2) the value of education moral, (3) the value of social education and (4) the value of cultural education.Keywords: pantun , educational values, facebook

This study aims to describe the values of character education contained in the short story "Ambe Masih Sakit" by Emil Amir. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The subject of the research is the speech or dialogue that comes from the actors in the short story "Ambe Masih Sakit" by Emil Amir which was quoted from the Kompas newspaper published on March 2012. The data that was the target of the study were obtained using listening and note-taking techniques. The results of the study show that the values of character education include honesty, tolerance, discipline, hard work, independence, democracy, curiosity, friendly/communicative, social care, responsibility, and religion. This is evidenced by the speech or dialogue that describes the figure of a man named Upta who grows and develops in living his freedom in living together with other people. It is illustrated that Upta respects differences in religion, ethnicity, ethnicity, opinions, attitudes and actions of people who are different from himself. Upta is described as a man who works hard and is responsible for his family

This study aims to determine the Discipline Character Education Learning. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Located at RA Islamiyah Bulaklo. Data were collected by observation, interviews, and documentation. The data that has been collected is checked for validity by source triangulation and technical triangulation. Analyzed with interactive analysis techniques, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and verification or conclusions. Research informants are the head of the foundation, principal, teachers, and guardians of students. The results showed that by giving Id Cards, students could line up neatly, put shoes and bags in their place according to the order on the Identity card which made students more disciplined and patiently waiting for their turn. From this study, it can be concluded that in the implementation of character education for early childhood (4-5 years) at RA Islamiyah Bulaklo in implementing character education using habituation activities starting from the child entering the gate until going home from school. For habituation activities such as marching, praying, memorizing Asmaul Husna, washing hands, and so on, by giving understanding to children, always be patient waiting for their turn according to the number on the Identity Card.

<em>This article explores the values of character education for early children in the film </em>Adit &amp; Sopo Jarwo<em>. This qualitative descriptive study analyzes the contents of the four episodes that were randomly selected. The study found that the values of character education for early children based on four episodes of the film </em>Adit &amp; Sopo Jarwo<em> are religious, hard working, independent, friendly and communicative, honest, social care, creative, discipline, honoring of achievement, and responsibility.</em>

The purpose of this research is to focus on the discovery (1) the educational values of noble character contained in Lamongan folklore (2) the narrative structure of the text of the Rakyat Lamongan story. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive with an educational value approach in literary works (pragmatic). The data in this study are data about (1) the values of noble character education contained in Lamongan folklore and (2) the narrative structure of the text of the Rakyat Lamongan story.  Data  sources  are  obtained  from  documentation  and  interviews.  The  data collection techniques are carried out with documentation and interviews. Data analysis techniques use interactive techniques. Data validation uses triangulation, both triangulation of theories, data, and methods. The findings of the research can be described include: (1) the value of noble character education contained in Lamongan folklore includes the values of partners, traditional values, happy values, and, upeksa values. , (2). Narrative structure of the text of Rakyat Rakyat Lamongan.
