The article is devoted to the problem of implementation of intelligent control systems in transport. An important task is to assess the information parameters of the control systems. In the existing works the question of definition of one of the basic parameters of functioning of locomotive control systems - information value of separate signs of a train situation is not considered. This does not make it possible to determine the order of signal processing at the input and assess their contribution to the adoption of a control decision. Moreover, informativeness is a relative value, which is expressed in the different information value of a particular feature for the classification of different train situations. Also, the informativeness of the feature may depend on the type of decisive rules in the classification procedure. The quality of recognition of a train situation in which the locomotive crew is, depends on the quality of the features used by the classification system. The decisive criterion for the informativeness of the features in the problem of pattern recognition is the magnitude of losses from errors. To determine the range of the most informative features of train situations, the method of random search with adaptation was used. The results of the work make it possible to optimize the operation of automated and intelligent train control systems by reducing the amount of calculations and simplifying their algorithm.

A man-machine interaction experiment in the real-time continuous control sense is presented. The computer program is given and described, together with some representative results with regard to plant order, display effects and training effects. In particular, the importance of the selection of the displayed variable is emphasized. The experiment has been helpful in the appreciation of the effects of display gain selection and the inclusion of the derivative terms in the displayed variable, as well as demonstrating the importances of plant order and operator training, by allowing time response shape and criterion value comparisons. The nature of the conclusions reached can be generalized to automatic control, helping students of control systems.

Abstract This paper demonstrates the feasibility of using-a water tunnel for the visualisation of flow in airfoils with flight control systems in the form of slots and flaps. Furthermore, the issue of using water tunnels for scientific and training purposes was explained. The technology of 3D printed models for practical tests in a water tunnel was also presented. The experiment included conducting flow visualisation tests for three airfoil models: with the Clark Y 11.7% as the base airfoil and the same airfoil with a slot and a flap. Moreover, a modification to dye injection system was introduced. The presented results of flow visualisation around models with the use of dye, confirmed the effectiveness of the applied methodology. The results and conclusions may be utilized to verify most flow-related issues in hydrodynamic tunnels and can also be used as a training element.

In research on lower limb prostheses, safety during testing and training is paramount. Lower limb prosthetic users risk unintentional loss of balance that can result in injury, fear of falling, and overall decreased confidence in their prosthetic leg. Here, we present a protocol for managing the risks during evaluation of active prosthetic legs with modifiable control systems. We propose graded safety levels, each of which must be achieved before advancing to the next one, from laboratory bench testing to independent ambulation in real-world environments. This ensures safety for the research participant and staff.

Abstract In cases when the navigational space of the manoeuvre performed by the ship is severely limited, the procedures making use of the rudder blade, propeller screw, and thrusters are very complicated. Such situations take place when the ship manoeuvres inside the harbour area and in those cases the structure of the control system is very complex. Te article describes the algorithm of multivariable control of ship motion over the water surface, which makes use of the state vector consisting of 6 variables. Tree of them, which are the position coordinates (x, y) measured by the DGPS system and the ship heading y measured by gyro-compass, were obtained experimentally. Te three remaining variables, which are the velocities in surge u, sway v, and yaw r directions, were estimated by Kalman filter, Kalman-Bucy filter and extended Kalman flter, respectively. The control algorithms making use of these observers were examined using the training ship “Blue Lady” which was navigated on the lake Silm in Ilawa/Kamionka in the Ship Handling Research and Training Centre owned by the Foundation for Safety of Navigation and Environment Protection. Te experimental results obtained using control systems with three observers were finally compared between each other.

The undertaking was finished so one can pick out the effectiveness of the worker pride level closer to the recruitment and schooling manner going on inside the corporation. The powerful become measured utterly based totally at the opinion of the employees and workers in all level, it's also analyzed with various statistically announcement and studied approximately the sources. The examine turned into finished because the management wanted to find out the various factors that affected the advantages of the schooling for the personnel. corporation is imparting education programs and seminars, and numerous different improvement applications also. on the subject of those info a established questionnaire changed into prepared. Which became used to get response from a pattern of 250 personnel? on this have a look at Descriptive research design turned into used and comfort Sampling approach was used as the sampling process, and records obtained were statistically analyzed the usage of Chi-rectangular test and Kolmogrov Smirnov D take a look at and Kendall's Concordance check. The evaluation and interpretations enables to identification the findings and suggestion of the workers. Recruitment bureaucracy the primary level within the process which keeps with choice and ceases with the location of the candidate. it is the next step within the procurement feature the primary being the manpower planning. Recruiting makes it viable to gather the range and kinds of humans essential to make certain the ongoing operation of the corporation. Recruiting is the discovering of potential applicants for actual or expected organizational vacancies. In other words, it's far a linking interest bringing together these with jobs and people seeking jobs. Recruitment has been seemed because the maximum vital characteristic of personnel administration, because unless the proper type of humans are hired, even the exceptional plans, agency charts and control systems might not do much correct. Recruitment both as high-quality? and terrible? hobby. it's far a procedure of trying to find potential personnel and stimulating and inspiring them to apply for jobs to boom the hiring ratio?, i.e., the range of applicants for a task. selection, on the other hand has a tendency to be poor as it rejects a great member of who follow, leaving most effective the pleasant to be employed .
