Airpak was applied to numerically simulate the air distribution under the same air supply temperature ,different air supply velocity (3.6m/s、2.7m/s and 1.8m/s ) and air supply angle (+15°、-45° and-75°) , and evaluate thermal comfort by Comparative analysis velocity fields, temperature fields, PMV—PPD. The results show that different air supply velocity and air supply angle have a significant impact on indoor air distribution under the same air supply temperature. Air supply angle Plays a vital role in pattern and distribution of indoor flow field,air supply velocity mainly effect the magnitude of indoor velocity and temperature. Synthetically comparied, the model’s best supply parameters are supply velocity 2.7m/s and supply angle75°,which mean value of indoor PMV is-0.09, PPD is 8.5%.

At present, the research ways of stratified air-conditioning technology mainly have two types, experimental study and numerical simulation. In this paper, a transparent Plexiglas model was designed, of which the size was supposed to be 1/50 of the real scale. PIV technology was innovatively applied into the experiment to measure the air distribution of an industrial plant. Different air supply velocities and different kinds of air supply outlets were taken into account to discuss the influence of them. Results revealed that as the jet velocity increased gradually, the airflow’s stratification effect became more evident. When the aspect ratio changed from 1:2 to 1:8, the diffusion degree in vertical direction increased obviously. In comparison with the rectangular air supply outlet, the circular one had lower decay, longer jet distance and better contractibility. The experimental findings are useful for optimizing the design of air distribution in high ceiling industrial plant.

It took the air-conditioned room as a object of study, and established indoor air flow three-dimensional physical and mathematical models on the basis of the two-equation turbulence model and wall-function. By the numerical simulation of two different forms of upside air-supply bottom-side air-return air distribution modes, indoor air temperature field, velocity field and molecular trace field were obtained, whereby we evaluated the ventilation characteristics of the two kinds of air distribution modes.

As people spend more time indoors, indoor air quality becomes more and more important. Displacement ventilation, as a new type of air-conditioning strategy, has showed remarkable advantages on many occasions. In this paper, the air movement and particle distribution in a displacement ventilation room is studied and analyzed through CFD numerical simulation method. The results show that the airflow field and the temperature field all have obvious hierarchical structure, and the coarse particles have more obvious settling character.

In this paper, the numerical simulation was adopted to explore indoor air distribution affected by three typical heated source distribution models, included spatially homogeneous heated source in the room, the heated source distributed evenly at the bottom and the local heated source at the bottom of the room. The characteristics of air distribution effected by three typical heated source models were studied in the air conditioning room with the pattern of lateral supply and return, the scope of rational arrangement in relatively comfortable environment of indoor personnel occupied zone was obtained. The result indicated that, the air distribution with the setting of the spatially homogeneous heated source pattern and the heated source distributed evenly at the bottom pattern were more satisfying than the setting of the local heated source at the bottom pattern.

Air purifier was used more and more widely, its placement and characteristics of indoor air have a significant impact on the efficiency of air purifiers. Based on CFD software, the effect of five different ways of the placement were analyzed; according to experimental station, the effect of three cases were detected, which verified the correctness of the simulation. The results show that: the placement of the air purifier should be placed by considering the impact of air distribution, purifiers should be put in near the outlet, and far away from the return air, supply air could expand the work area of air purifier to achieve better effect It provide some basis for optimizing the use of air purifier and improving. indoor air quality.
